Discussion pages are rarely used unless someone's attention is called to them. If you have a general question about a trope's description or usage, you can use Ask The Tropers or the Trope Talk forum. If you want to discuss an example or a contested edit, use the edit reason to ask people to go to the Discussion page.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Wasn't a similar question like this asked as a wishlist item? Some sort of indicator that said a new discussion had been posted? I recall seeing this in one of the Tropes 2.0 threads or a question along those lines.
Who watches the watchmen? The 2.0 design incorporates a more flexible discussion system that is integrated with the forums in such a way that one could go to a particular place and see all new topics created for wiki articles, add such topics to your watchlist, etc. But I caution that it is a long way away.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Fighteer: Got it. Thanks for clearing that up.
Willbyr: Thanks. Thought I was going a bit bonkers for a moment trying to remember where I saw it.

Who watches the watchmen?
Just what the title says, particularly for those that probably have lost most of their visitors due to inactivity.
(In my case, I've just asked something under Batman Gambit, and another one a while ago under Random Events Plot.)
Should we make a Sticky thread for something like this?
