I have, played both games and liked them for the most part.
Oh really when?I'm gonna be honest, I honestly went into it expecting to hate it for being a Titanfall knockoff. I still didn't really like it that much, but at least I didn't like it on it's own merits I guess.

Try Tactical Team Deathmatch. The boost jumping is off and the health and damage values are reworked to be in line with older games.
It's what I play mostly these days. The maps suddenly get a lot more interesting when you can't zip everywhere.

Oh really when?My problem isn't the boostjumping, it's that you can't really gain or lose speed or chain it into anything. It feels sluggish and ... static I guess. Does tactical make the TTK longer or shorter? Because man o man, I would've liked a longer TTK. I mean hell, I thought Titanfall 2's TTK was too short compared to the first game and this game makes that look long.
Shorter. Not as short as hardcore though. Kinda odd you say that though. IW has the longest TTK that Call of Duty has seen in a long while.
And yeah it's not like Titanfall's 2 system at all. You're just kinda moving around, not building momentum.

Oh really when?I'm rather annoyed at this because the one place I can still rent games from closed down several months ago, so I have no idea where I'm going to rent the game so I can just play the single-player.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Redbox?
Oh really when?Eh, maybe.
Or I could just go to my college's student center this weekend and try to run through the campaign.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.There's a good number of side missions and guns and upgrades to find. I'd try to rent it if possible.
It's not super linear.
Oh really when?Eh, maybe over Spring Break if I can tear myself away from For Honor.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.The fact that this game doesn't have an bible akin to Omnipedia in BLOPS 3 or the Codex in Mass Effect is a fucking travesty.
New Survey coming this weekend!I'd read the shit out of that. I loved all the little blurbs on the planets and sectors in the campaign map.
Oh really when?Especially when you hover over the Uranus cluster.
"Nicknamed 'The Mud'... likely a scatological reference to the cluster's name."
I was in tears.
New Survey coming this weekend!Yeah, I've thought to myself a few times that a Call of Duty expanded universe would be good for this sort of series, especially nowadays when a lot of the Call of Duty games have a load of backstory now. I'd like to hear how the Settlement Defense Front broke away from Earth, what happened after the game (did the Earth invade Mars and end the war?) or how the Federation invaded the US in the Time Skip after the ODIN strike and what happened after that (especially since we likely won't get a sequel to that), or how the war against Atlas went down in the aftermath of Advanced Warfare.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Indeed. Would be something I'd buy for a high price, if it were a physical copy, too.
But on another note, is this the highest jump in story quality from one game to another? Because the gap between Infinite Warfare and Ghosts in terms of acting, story, and characters, is the size of the grand canyon.
New Survey coming this weekend!Infinite Warfare is on sale for $29.99 USD on Steam, along with a bunch of other Co D titles. But for BLOPS 3? The pricing is... weird.
I can't figure out which one is the base game on this page for the life of me. But from the looks of things, I'm pretty sure it costs more than the entire package of Infinite Warfare's DL Cs!
Guess that means Infinite Warfare really is struggling to gain ground against it's predecessors, and that BLOPS is turning into a sleeper hit.

Sleeper hit? It was always stupid popular.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.BLOPS/Treyarch has been the ones that people actually sort of respect for a while now.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyWhich is a damn shame. IW has to be the best Call of Duty in years.
Oh really when?I'm thinking it has to do with the abundance of co-op multiplayer modes that came along with BLOPS 3. Heck, just upon release alone they had THREE different zombie modes, each one with their own unique setting and gameplay design! And of those three, the primary Nazi Zombies plotline is still running... and we haven't even touched the primary Pv P multiplayer!

I'd say it would be good story-wise, but I've heard multiplayer isn't as good as previous COD games.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.
I got around to playing like, 5 hours of the multiplayer weekend and.... well...... I just thought it was straight up bad. Like, it took everything I didn't like about MW 3 (crummy map design where you go around a corner and instantly jumped) and combined it with crummy parkour that just doesn't FEEL right and MOBA ultimates that are just kinda....... a thing. I mostly played Synaptic and FTL during the beta and it seemed like there was no reason to even use the FTL's laser pistol thing over the Synaptic dual guns. When it comes to the parkour, there's no sense of being able to build momentum or really do much other than take the designer placed shortcuts or whatever.
Also, Frontier is straight up one of the worst maps I've ever played, straight up. Say what you will about Shipment but at least it was basically a shitpost in map form. Frontier is just straight up awful man.
Have you tried Titanfall Le Garcon? Just wondering?
