Turns out that Nagant is alive - not doing too well, but alive.
Deku slowly cutting himself off from the people he loves is heartwrenching. Something about that scene where he tells All Might that he doesn't need his help anymore just...hit something for me. To me, while I can understand where he's coming from, slowly destroying yourself for other people who are fully able to help just seems to be selfish and idiotic, especially for someone like Deku who's been known to be quite smart. Maybe the anger and grief is getting to him and is starting to cloud up his decision-making process for the worst.
And then, at Kamino no less, Deku on the verge of collapse is saved by Bakugo and the rest of 1-A, an excellent Call-Back to season 3. The real question for next week is: can Deku, who is about to collapse from a lack of food and sleep, beat 29 of the strongest eleventh graders in the country?
And, as usual, I tensely wait for my once-a-season cute Izu Ocha moment. C'mon, we're two episodes from the end, where is it?!

Clear prop!To think we are already at the season's end... Hope Bones will get the next episode right, it'll be pretty action-packed.
This is my favorite part of the story, so I can't wait for the climaxes. Love how Bakugo finally spells out In-Universe that Deku and Allmight's relationship has a toxic side. He's the only one who knows them well enough and isn't blinded by hero worship
I'm a little disappointed Bones didn't try to expand a bit on the class or Deku before they found him but overall the back half of this season has been very well adapted. Here's hoping Bones sticks the landing.
One more minor complaint though: They cut out the scene where Deku fought a bunch of Spinner cosplayers. That's a bit of a shame.

I'm a little behind because I mainly follow the English Dub. I know these scenes with 1-A vs. Deku are something Clifford Chapin (voice of Bakugo) has been really looking forward to.
That's one of the downsides of being able to cram three or more chapters into one episode. While I really have never understood the complaints of poor pacing, be it too slow (One Piece, Dragon Ball) OR too fast (Fruits Basket 2019). But one of the good things is that Toei (I use Toei because I dont follow any other anime that uses manga as a basis) has to do is adapt absolutely everything. Some minor details may be lost or gained but you can be assured 99.99% percent of the manga will be adapted and the anime may add additional scenes that are cool since otherwise they wouldnt have enough material for one episode even with as little as they adapt.

Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Though it’s a good thing the MHA anime is a seasonal one regardless.
A weekly anime would be pretty nightmarish, it’s not like there’s a guarantee of expansion or anything even on the weekly format. Just everything going really slow.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."That's true. Still I dont mind the MHA anime's pace or One Piece anime's pace. They are both good to me.
I used to think MHA was too fast but I have watched some recent episodes and loved it.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here. It's as fast as the Manga...
The only way it can be too fast is if they start skipping stuff due to bloating episodes with chapter coverage.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I wanted to disagree but that is very much true.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Unless one thought the manga pacing is too fast in the first place. I have that opinion of One Piece.

I should be clear, so far I find MHA's pacing to be fine. I was just suggesting a possibility.
I agree with Diddynux. That's precisely I actually still like the One Piece anime.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Today's episode was the fight chase between Deku and Class 1-A, showing that everyone has something heartfelt to say to Deku, and that they all want him back to fight alongside him.
And holy fucking shit after nearly 7 seasons BAKUGO APOLOGIZES! The character development has been so insane to watch, and to see it culminate so poignantly and so amazingly is nothing short of heartwrenching. Other moments include Iida reminding Deku of what he told him four seasons ago and managing to get through to him, Kirishima revealing that he was there when Deku saved Bakugo in episode fucking one, and Momo, Shoji, Kaminari and Tokoyami's failed prison attempt. These kids are goddamn strong, perhaps the strongest 16/17-year-olds in the world right now.
Thirteen's face reveal! That came out of nowhere. Very cute.
Waiting for Saturday is a chore. Now that there's only one week left, I'm still deciding what I'm going to do once this ends. Maybe I should just rewatch Love is War to cure my sadness.

Clear prop!Wait, Kirishima was there? I thought in the flashback during the Overhaul arc, Kirishima mentioned having heard about it, not being there? Was that a dub mistake? Or I'm misunderstanding something, somewhere?
Spoiler Alert Bakugo's apology is filler lol just kidding.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Relax I was kidding I dont even read the manga. Ok I did read some but only some of it.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Aaaaand the recent episode has just aired in Japan. FUCK, as if Uraraka's speech wasn't moving enough on paper; them adding You Say Run just hit too damn much!!
This is why I love anime. Voice acting, music, even the rhythm of how a scene flows compared to how my own reading might betray me and make me go too fast when reading a manga... Things just tend to hit harder for me.
The last episode of season 6 has just aired, ending with the introduction of Stars & Stripes, voiced by veteran seiyuu Romi Park! Season 7 confirmed!!
Its a common tactic for My Hero Academia; The last episode, or at least the last scene, of a season will be a cliffhanger for the next.
Season 1 had a stinger teasing Stain.
Season 2 has the mall episode where the class preps for the training camp, and Midoriya runs into Shigaraki.
Season 3 has the episode introducing the Big Three.
Season 4 had a stinger of Midoriya seeing the First User of One For All.
And Season 5 had a stinger of the heroes all gathered for the attack on the PLF.
Anyway, exciting stuff! And later today we'll be getting the dubbed version of 1-A vs. Deku. Should be spectacular as well.
And, as quickly as she arrives, Lady Nagant is gone again. At least the Talk no Jutsu did something. And All Might is still threatening, even in his normal form!
Finally, Deku uses his brains in a fight again! I've been waiting ages for that to happen. It did take a while for me to understand what Fa Jin did though.
And that next episode preview...can't wait for Saturday!
Clear prop!
