We say Nickelodeon is terrible now. Though, I kinda believe that Nickelodeon was never that great to begin with.

But, all in all, it was successful and well loved... until it started made mistakes.

Was it the overuse of Rugrats; later, Sponge Bob Square Pants? Was it the cancellation of Invader Zim? Was it changing the logo? Or was it something else?

Also, do you have anything to say about Nick's sub-channels?

I've said something about this at Game FAQS.

Son, I hate to tell you this, but they're going to brand this a 'hate thread' and lock it up. You should have posted this in the general Nickelodeon thread instead.

Complaint thread to be locked in one-two...

But the thing about Nickelodeon is that you think it sucks because you grew up. Think about that.

Well, that was my other idea.

Though, wouldn't that devolve into hate there as well?

Well, as long as it remains reasonable criticism within a general thread it should be okay. They have a problem when the thread is meant to complain from the start, though.

Seriously, people? If you want to talk about Nickelodeon in a general sense, there is undoubtedly a topic for it. But these sorts of single-topic threads are horrible ideas even if they aren't specifically "I want to complain about X." It's essentially an invitation to whine and generalize.
