Legacy of the Consortium sign up thread

This is the sign up thread for my Legacy of the Consortium RP.

The space is at war. The Empire is rotting, giving rise and birthing criminal associations from its body. While it is distracted by the New Republic, these criminals await their treasures to come. And when the time comes... they will rule over the galaxy, with their leader alone with his iron fist.

One such leader is Tyber Zann. A mere human who was once a member of the Empire but was cast out and later became partners with the notorious gangster Jabba the Hutt who later became his rival, he shall soon find his vengeance against the Empire and take control of the Hutt Cartel and the Black Sons. While working with Empire he learned many of their secrets and their battle strategies and has many Imperial officials in his pocket, while working with Jabba he learned how to master corruption as a weapon, creating a syndicate that would stand against the test of time. You are one of the members of the Zann Consortium. Will you continue Tyber's plans, or will you let your Consortium fall?.

This RP is about the Star wars Empire At War: Forces Of Corruption expansion pack faction, the Zann Consortium. In this RP you play as a mercenary employed by Tyber Zann. The description of the RP was written by arcada188, but I edited it a little to add a few things.

• Name: You characters name
• Species: Your characters race or species. There are a lot of different alien races in the Star Wars EU that can be used.
• Gender: This is what gender your mercenary is.
• Occupation: What's your mercenary class? Is he/she a pilot? Is he/she a technician? Or is he/she simply a soldier if fortune that doesn't know how to pilot or fix things?
• Ship: What ship does he/she use? You can change you ship later once you either have enough credits or are prestigious enough to get promoted to commanding a larger and better ship.
  • You can begin with any kind of ship smaller than a frigate but you either have to buy it.
    • Star Viper-Class-Fighter: This ship is decently easy to learn how pilot, so that characters who aren't pilots can learn how to fly this ship easier then learning how to fly other ships. Description :A ship that has a cache of Buzz droids that can attacker other fighters.
    • Skipray Blastboat-Class-Bomber: A affordable mercenary bomber that are employed by pirates and criminal organizations.
    • Aggressor Assault Fighter-Class-Fighter: A more advanced and expensive fighter. The assassin droid IG-88 has a customized version of this fighter
    • Z-95 Headhunter-Class-Fighter: An old fashion fighter that has a built in hyper drive. extremely cheap and weaker compared to other fighters currently in use.
    • Pirate Assault Fighter-Class-Heavy Fighter: A fighter used mainly by common pirates that has strong armor.
    • Merchant Freighter-Class-Corvette: A modified civilian Corvette used primarily by smugglers.
    • Clone Wars Y-wing-Class-Bomber/Fighter: An older model of the Y-wing bomber that is a relic from the Clone Wars and has been discarded for the newer version of the Y-Wing. Slower but has heavier armor.
    • IPV-1 Patrol Craft-Class-Corvette: A small corvette designed to fight off small scale pirate attacks.
    • Tartan Patrol Cruiser-Class-Corvette: A simple corvette that is primarily used by the Empire to take out bombers and fighters.
• Credit account: How many credits your mercenary currently has. Don't make it where you mercenary has a few big-gillion credits in the beginning.
• Backstory: How did your mercenary become a mercenary in the first place?

This version of the Sign up sheet might be edited if I need to include anything else. I hope everyone who joins has fun with this RP.

• Backstory: An orphan far away from Biths like him, Rokriam worked as a part-timer musician in various bars until he came to work under a "lesser" Hutt criminal leader, who was, for some reason, hunted down by just everyone for his head. As a result, Rokriam proved himself as a capable pilot, but at one point, his boss was killed and Rokriam had to escape... which is why he's here.

I... have no idea for a backstory.

Say, how many credits an average mercenary should have?

Errrr. . . I actually was wondering about that myself. You can really choose how many credits you want yourself but I'd say about two or three thousandth for a newer mercenary while older ones could have somewhere around a few ten thousand credits.

I see.

Actually know that I think about it you don't really need to have the backstory yet. You can always say that your character has a mysterious past or keeps his past a complete secret.

Sounds interesting. So that I can get the timeline right in my backstory, what year is it in the RP? I'm guessing probably like 4 ABY?

Edit: Yeah, I'd like if this RP started around 1 through 4 ABY.

Ah, okay, I thought it was later due to all that stuff about Jabba and the Emperor being dead in the first post.

Yeah, I added those two things in at the last second. I'll take them off now.

And it says you can choose any starship smaller than a frigate, but then after that it says it has to be a StarViper?

Ohhh, I forgot what to include the other ships. . . My bad, I'll edit the sign up sheet and add the rest of the ships.
