I'd agree with that; swap with the redirect.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien. The redirect is definitely more clear than the current.
The inbound and wick counts are definitely unimpressive, though the latter may be due to the Trivia trope not being common.
Easy name swap to the redirect.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Huh.
So yeah, I came into this topic thinking "this actually seems pretty clear. It's about a work's run in another country ending early. Pretty clear, honestly."
And then it's... got absolutely nothing to do with that. At all. Where does "short run" even come into it? It presumably runs for the same time, just earlier.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. It's bad where it comes from too. It comes from someone coming from country A (where it was made) going to country B (where it premiered first) after it had started in country A, and watching the season finale, so they're left thinking it's shorter than what it is. It's a ridiculously foggy name that needed 4 lines of text in the edit window to explain.
Keeper of The Celestial FlameYeah, definitely merge with the alternate name.
The title comes from Garth Marenghis Darkplace if you're wondering. But I think it's actually a misquote (it should be "brief run in Peru", I believe). Either way, changing it is definitely a good idea.
It comes from a parody series that runs on What Do You Mean, It Wasn't Made on Drugs? Definitely change.
Keeper of The Celestial FlameAnother vote to swap with the redirect.
Bump. It seems like we're in unanimous agreement so far?

This thread should never have been opened. It does not meet rename criteria. This thread shall be locked.

Short Run in Peru definitely needs a rename. The current title does essentially nothing to tell you what it's about. Its definition is "a series from one country has new episodes first air in another", but from the title, one would guess that it's about "a series that got exported to another country, but didn't last long there". I noticed it has an alternate title of "Foreign Premiere First", which is much more clear in conveying the trope's purpose. I would go with that; as it stands, the trope appears in 139 articles under its current name.
