So hey, I've been convinced to catch up on Magiswords.
My god, the physical expressions are hilarious to look at.
My favorites would have to be from "Who's Hyas is it anyway", namely the face Prohyas makes at the 1:22 (when he lashes at Nohyas), and Vambre's faces when Nohyas says she's his sister (2:21) and when he counters saying he's evil and she's like "Whaaa?" (2:23).
Speaking of Nohyas, when did he start showing up?
He was in the web games where he tried to steal Prohyas' sword but Prohyas used the Electric Razor Magisword to shave his mustache off.
In the webisodes, his house was destroyed by Rexxtopher in "Land Before Slime". He also made a cameo appearance at the end of "No Robots for Old Men".
Kyle did a funny Macho Man Randy Savage impression as Nohyas; even copying his catch-phrase "OH YEAH!" and the alternative "NO YEAH!".
Nohyas is definitley based on Negaduck since Kyle loves Darkwing Duck and the fact that Jim "Darkwing/Negaduck" Cummings is gonna be in it.

Has anyone listened to the latest episode of Kyle & Luke Talk About Toons yet? Repeating my previous statement, it has a MM song at the end.
OMG. Kyle also did the Tree-J and Prohyas and Lindsay did Vambre in the song. Prey it would be Mighty Magiswords' theme song or used in the show in some way.
Note: A new epp of Mighty Magiswords will be called Show Me Your Finest Dolphins
And Kyle sang his old take on the Crossfire commercial song he did for his old "Kyle Sings the Cartoons" album.
Kyle's Phil/Antonio Banderas impression is awesome and so is his Hoppus voice. Kyle should have voiced him.

This just in: CN just greenlit the show as an television series, due to premiere later this fall. So it's now made the jump from from the very small screens to the small screen.
Complete with promotional poster.

has a clue, but it's usually not the correct one 0.55% of the timeFound out about this yesterday.
Way to go, Kyle!
He's probably out there doing a celebrating dance or some other thing.
I wonder if this means we'll get a broader backstory about Prohyas and Vambre.
"We be we baby!"No no, doing a celebratory dance with an accordian with Luke Ski playing.
I KNEW one day he'd get a real show on TV!

And hey, if we're lucky, we might see a significant Animation Bump in the series.
The general idea, designs, dialogue, and character interactions are what got me into the minisodes, but if I'm honest, I always thought the animation itself was kind of sort of maybe on the stiff side.
But I guess they were on a rather tight budget, so I forgave the stiffness. The green lighting of a full-fledged show should rectify the stiffing, am I wrong?
And another good thing about this, if Mighty Magiswords is getting the greenlight, it shouldn't be long until it happens to Lakewood Plaza Turbo, right?
It's going to be titled Ok k.o, though.
"We be we baby!"OK KO: Lets be Heroes
Info about the new series: - Doug Lawrence is the head writer.
- Comedy musician Luke Ski is the storyboard revisionist, writer and voice actor for the show. Considering the fact that Kyle and him are best buds and work together often, it's no brainer.
- Guest voices/recurring roles: Hal Lublin, Weird Al Yankovic, Judy Tenuta, Mary Faber, Jess Harnell, Jack Mc Brayer, Arin "Egoraptor" Hanson, Rider Strong, Kate Micucci, Kyle Massey, Townsend Coleman, Jim Cummings and Dave Coulier.
- Freelancers are involved including David Baron who did a guest strip on Frog Raccoon Strawberry
- Possibly 11-minutes
- Will premiere in 2016 in the fall with some additional internet material (games, shorts, apps)

From what I heard, Rob Paulsen, Jeff Bennett, Candi Milo and Phil La Marr are involved too.
Sneak peek of the new series - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2x93DYLrPU Jim Cummings as the Keeper of the Mask
Okay, I REALLY want to like this clip, but the editing feels super-off.
Of course, since it's just a clip, I'm sure that's the fault of whoever makes the clips and will be fixed by the time of release.
I will say, I'm kinda surprised by Jim Cumming's performance. I was expecting a big, over-the-top, hammy villain, but he effectively does great as someone who's tired of being cursed with a particularly powerful Magisword. Impressive.
That was just too all over the place to leave an impression. But I still love the show's style, especially Vambre's thighs!
"We be we baby!"That is the POINT! It's supposed to be a bored guy who lost hope.

Cartoon Network's first new *original series for 2016. Celebrate!
Is anyone going to comment on the 5-minute shorts that just premiered on CN.com? The 3 shorts currently are "Warriors for Hire", "Desolation of Grup" and "Pool Fools" (two of the latter are origin stories of how the Warriors became warriors and how they met Grup the Dragon)
Along with a killer theme song sung by TV's Kyle.
Also Pool Fools features the guest voice of series head writer Doug Lawrence as Ralphio, the guy wearing a sword on his head telling the warriors to go to the Dinosaur Kingdom.
And be warned; a sneak peek of an episode is coming this Monday so set your DVR to it or watch when it premieres.
Saw the sneak peek, and it wasn't just the clips, the show is really that Hyperactive. I was like Nostalgia Critic telling the movie to shut up.
I was afraid that the real show really was that annoying. Oh Well, that's life.
And I LOVE your sig King Kix!
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here. Thanks! Really, I want the show to find its footing but it's going to take a lot of time.
"We be we baby!"Saw the sneak peek of Mushroom Menace. Pacing needs work but the songs are catchy especially Vambres song
Hi. I decided to create a new and fresh Mighty Magiswords tv tropes forum that's much cleaner than the previous ones. I hope it would get accepted and people who are interested in the show should respect the thread and not include bullying and thrashing and drama.
Here's my first post:
I heard around FB and Twitter that Judy Tenuta will play a character in Magiswords as Queen Porcina. Which leads me to some questions: -Since she's a queen, is she the queen of Rhyboflavin? -Since her name relates to a pig, is she a ruler of pigs or maybe the ruler of the Robopiggehs? Did she create Robopiggeh? Is she a piggy or a Robopiggeh herself? -Is she related to Princess Zange? -Will she sing?
I'd like to know.
