Your character almost sounds like Muffet.
I think I am seeing another implication. Being the falcon of a falconer, he must have been alerting him about bigger animals, something Nacl mentions himself. Then, before that, he says that the falconer attempted to shoot him when he fled, and he coughed up a tracker. As such, this means that Nacl constantly had to watch innocent animals being murdered by his falconer. In essence, he was a harbinger of death, despised by his fellow animals.
Sheesh. No wonder he fled. Hell, I almost thought he had post-traumatic stress disorder until I read up on it.
I am the most suitable partner for Gaia. I have some bad news. You will not make it to Eden. This is the end of your journey.Ooh, yeah - kind of like a weird, animal version of a child soldier.
Also, about the Muffet comparison, yes, there was some inspiration, especially in the laugh.
A chick soldier!
Oh god now I feel bad.
I am the most suitable partner for Gaia. I have some bad news. You will not make it to Eden. This is the end of your journey. What makes the implications worse is that, considering that there are many chicks used by falconers, that is happening very often.
And that is why In the Shadow of Man is supposed to be dark.

By the way. I'm planning on changing the text Jericho uses. Should I use evil or purple
Wait.
evil?

Purple, then. And I'm sure as hell that Milo and N aren't going to like him.
I am the most suitable partner for Gaia. I have some bad news. You will not make it to Eden. This is the end of your journey.Should my character mention a place that could possibly work? I'm not exactly sure if you intend on not knowing where an area that could work is or not.

Well, it's not so much that Milowouslk aspires to be strongest. It's that he wants to be a hero, defending the people he loves and doing the right thing. He just happens to imagine himself doing that in a very dramatic fashion. And he's also very naive and has a strong sense of Black-and-White Morality. Also, I added another skill to my character sheet.
The ink flows into a dark puddle, just move your hand- write the way into his heartI see.
This Guy 481 mentioned that Jericho was a lab walking spider who went through various tests that had a fly at the end. Walking spiders scored much better than mice.
Milo isn't going to like that fact.

This is the end of your journey.Well, to be more specific, they were allowed to be given a quick glimpse of an overhead view of the maze - it was more specifically a test of their problem-solving - while most creatures they placed in the mazes would follow the scent, the Spiders would follow the solution they saw earlier.

Still, though. I wonder how Jericho would react if he saw an actual town of mice.
I am the most suitable partner for Gaia. I have some bad news. You will not make it to Eden. This is the end of your journey. He probably wouldn't be too shocked to see it, and would be pleased that some animals are trying to reach the level of humanity.
Might occasionally wish he was a bit larger though ;)

So, out of the current characters, we have: an abused tegu lizard who was a former pet, a peregrine falcon who used to be a chick soldier and currently has PTSD, a chivalrous, also rather young but a wee bit irresponsible mouse, a rat who is currently the closest thing we have to a villain, a foulmouthed, pragmatic raccoon and a jumping spider who likes humans.
N is going to hate Jericho.
I am the most suitable partner for Gaia. I have some bad news. You will not make it to Eden. This is the end of your journey.Jericho is probably the type who would end up with both a lot of friends and a lot of enemies by the end.
And most of the enemies are going to be those who really, really hate humanity. Or "hue-manatee", if you will.
I am the most suitable partner for Gaia. I have some bad news. You will not make it to Eden. This is the end of your journey.Jericho does seem to stand out in his acceptance of humanity.
As we develop more, it is likely he will be a foil to more than one character.
I know which ones already.
To N: Whereas N is a traumatized chick soldier who utterly despises humanity because he has witnessed one human's bad side (and is the youngest character currently), Jericho is a jumping spider who likes humanity because he has witnessed a lot of humans' good side (and is the oldest character in human years currently).
To Arkady: Both are among the more knowledgeable characters and proud of their heritage as animals, but Jerry seems to know a bit more than Arkady; and, of course, whereas Jericho likes humanity and sees that animals should just accept human dominance, Arkady hates humanity and is optimistic about finding a place free from humanity.

So, yeah, as you can see, I know which characters are going to be foils to Jericho already. What other characters you think could be foils?
Oh, and I ship it.

Nah. I don't actually see any other creepy implications besides that. I just wanted to sound way more observant than I actually was ;)
.... aaaand this is when I realize how much I am like my character.
