How do you link to a page with a one-word title?

I know that by inserting a capital letter in the middle of a word you can specify both that it is actually multiple words and TV Tropes automatically assumes it is an internal link, like Body Horror -> Body Horror (link). Also, if it is part of a tropes list I know doing "* Trope:" correctly produces a link. However, I have no idea what to do if a page has a title that is only one word long. I can't find the info for formatting anywhere from the title page. What should I do?

To be honest, this to me has been one of the most confusing aspects of editing TV Tropes.

The {{link}} markup is useful even for multi-word titles. For example, whenever you type ActionGirl you always get Action Girl, with both words capitalized. You can use the curly brackets to avoid that:

She is an {{action girl}}.

Results in:

She is an action girl.

You can also use it to pluralize trope names:

They are both {{action girl}}s.

Results in:

They are both action girls.

Thanks, all. I propose getting rid of that system that forces a link if there is a capital letter in the middle of what the system considers to be a single word. It makes things more confusing and doesn't really seem to save time or space. It can also make phrases like Kyonx Yuki problematic, because of the link forcing accompanied by the word splitting.

You could probably use a bot to change the capital-letter link forcing to normal links with the braces, except where the link occurs as part of a trope list. You could then remove the option for the capital-letter link forcing, reducing a source of confusion and problems.

[up][up] Using double curly braces to render a trope name in all lowercase is actually discouraged. Among other things, it makes wick searches more complicated.

[up] There is a system for that. You simply put [=square brackets and equals signs=] around the word you don't want to be rendered as a wiki word.

It's core pmwiki markup. Can't just rip it out without rewriting the parser, and that's not in our current development path..
