Steven Universe Leaks and Spoiler Thread

Yay!

The phrasing does suggest that Steven and Pearl will be fusing soon, though I seem to recall it previously being said that a fusion of Steven and Pearl would be in some fashion different than the fusion of Rose and Pearl. One would also assume that should Crystal Gem Ruby ever have to fuse with Crystal Gem Pearl without Sapphire involved, that Rhodonite would be different from Off Colors Rhodonite.

Alternately, since Rebecca Sugar said that regular gems and fusions can coexist, this Rainbow Quartz is a Homeworld Gem. Seems unlikely though.

I wondering where "Change Your Mind" came from!

I still think Reunited is a special like Stranded and not its own episode.

And the fact that Rebecca accidentally spoiled Rainbow Quartz 2.0 being a thing will always be funny to me.

If "Change Your Mind" is a real episode I'm gonna .

It's not about winning over Lapis or anything like that. It's about literally changing Pearl's mind to undo the programming that prevents her from talking about her past.

Don't want Lapizuli to change her mind...that's too easy.

Oh fuck them. I'm really sick of this Schedule Slip bullshit.

Um, what? We've always known they were coming back in April. This is kind of early, actually.

I forgot. But I'm honestly really really tired of this system. Give me an episode a week or maybe every two weeks, then go on a normal hiatus. Don't give me a month's worth of stuff in a week and then leave me starving.

So I was thinking about the very strange phrasing that accompanied Rose's keychain, and I just realized;

What if that's not actually Rose's past outfit?

Like, Pearl finally tells Steven how she and Rose met, and we get flashback Rose sporting the outfit, until Pearl says that that's not what she actually looked like and describes her actual outfit.

I mean, that's kind of moot when they can change what outfits they appear in as part and parcel of their powers.

I forgot to include the part about Steven imaging her wearing it before Pearl describes what she actually wore. I wanted to write it and go to sleep.

Think of it like that scene from "Buddy's Book", where Steven and Connie imagine Garnet and Pearl wearing their current outfits, and then Connie says that's most likely not what they wore back when they met Buddy, and their outfits switch to their colonial ones.

@Adric De Psycho: There was a title called "The Show", but I'm pretty sure that was "Last One Out of Beach City"'s Working Title.

Speaking of which, the title similarity makes me think Mystery Girl is involved somehow.
