Steven Universe Leaks and Spoiler Thread

So with the revelation of Cartoon Network UK being dumb enough to leak two major clips from future episodes of Steven Universe, we've decided to make a thread to discuss any and all SU spoilers. Let the discussion commence.

I'm really glad we're seeing more of Alexandrite. I always liked her.

Malachite finally returns, and so do the Watermelon Stevens! I missed those tiny bastards.

Alexandrite + Watermelon Stevens vs. Malachite

Lapis and Peridot and Steven

The fact that malachite is still fused in Giant Fight proves my theory wrong, but that clip is epic so I'm not at all angry.

There was also that accidentally aired clip, apparently between those two clips, that showed Peridot trying to be friendly to an angry Lapis.

A third one? I haven't seen that clip.

What I'm curious about is why they're at the Watermelon Island and why they're fighting Malachite, or even what Malachite intends on doing. Maybe they need Lapis to help with the drill by cooling it? Maybe Steven talks to them in his dreams again and finds out that Malachite is up to no good? Maybe Malachite has become the goddess of the Watermelon Stevens and has kidnapped Steven and Peridot, and now the Crystal Gems have to fight her to save them? Hell, the second clip makes me wonder if the Crystal Gems are out trying to hunt down Jasper while Steven, Peridot, and Lapis chill at the barn.

No, this was accidentally aired as a commercial during the last Steven Bomb. We talked about it (or rather talking about not talking about it) several times in the main thread, and Burnett mentioned that it was from several months in the future.

What I was wondering with the second clip is "Where is Steven?", because the show has never deviated this far from his point of view before. Is this a flashback or something? Was he part of Alexandrite this time?

He can't be a part of Alexandrite, that'd end up being an entirely different fusion. I still think he's kidnapped or something.

He's probably watching from the sidelines or something.

I'm kinda surprised (well, not really) that the watermelon stevens are back. I had forgotten all about them.

Also I didn't realize that Alexandrite had another mouth. Talk about Creepy Awesome.

I'm a little disappointed that Alexandrite doesn't have her own, unique weapon, but it's really cool that she uses all three fusion weapons at once.

And apparently she can breathe fire.

I'm now wondering how long it'd take for that weird Eye thing that was chasing Peridot to even arrive towards Earth. How far even is Homeworld from Earth?

The thing looks unmanned, it's possible it wasn't actually from Homeworld proper.

I just love how Lapis seems perpetually angry, like Jasper ended up influencing her on some level while they were Malachite.

I suspected as much but it's been a REALLY long time since I watched any of the episodes with Alexandrite in them so I just forgot.

Being fused to Jasper for so long was probably a really unpleasant experience. I would expect her to be in a bad mood at the least.

I dunno, Malachite seemed to feel a lot better about being Malachite. Or at least Jasper did. It was primarily here voice speaking.

Yeah, at some point, for whatever reason, Jasper finally manages to overpower Lapis in the fusion. I wonder how it will have happened.

I would hazard a guess that Lapis struggled to be in control for a long time and then just lost and now it's mostly Jasper speaking, yes.
