Seems like an appropriate reaction to meeting Carol.

I love how Tomo's mom is treating Carol like she's such a rare animal.

"So It runs in the family." She might be a ditz, but she's not slow on the uptake.

It's like they entered an endless recursion of time.

Carol is scary.

Hopefully Misuzu's next.

Carol is Carol. She cannot be contained. She cannot be defined.

Also, I liked the result of the infiltration a few days ago.

Misuzu seems to be a bit.. agitated. I wonder why?

Because Carol speaks the truth. Sooner or later Tomo and Jun will get over their respective cases of super-density and actually go out with each other. At which time Tomo will grow somewhat more distant from Misuzu, even if they still remain close friends. She realizes this but still encourages the relationship, because in the end she wants Tomo to be happy. Conflicting feelings and all that.

As interesting as I think it'd be for the series to explore Misuzu having feelings for Tomo herself, it'd be pretty crappy to introduce a new relationship thread into the series when the chances of it coming to anything are about -20%.

Well, make explicit, rather.

I honestly don't think Misuzu has any sort of romantic attraction to Tomo. They're just really close friends and she's somewhat jealous/possessive.

Tomo-Jun has had 50% of the plot motivations. All three yuri sortings have had 90% of the screentime.

It's more like making it explicit would be marginalising the starter premise to also-ran.

Very true; my worry is just that it'd end up getting introduced just to be shot down, which would kind of suck.

Well, given recent revelations, I'm interested to see how the author's going to handle Misuzu's (at this point very clear) attraction to Tomo. I'm hoping everything will work out and Misuzu can stay friends with them.

The important thing is that we got to see Tomo and CC in Yukata.

Carol got extra fluffy lately.

First thing I noticed: Her hair has been tamed.

@Red Savant: IMO? Confident he'll pull it off well, but still salty regardless.

If he goes whole hog, it'll be feels-tugging, since the moments beforehand weren't played for laughs. But I hate the hopeless lesbian admirer trope. I hate it, hate it, hate it, it's been done to death.

I got my fill of it with Toradora and I really don't need it again, yeah. Misuzu getting to watch Jun and Tomo hook up is the best-case scenario now, with the worst case being essentially her getting demonized into a clingy lesbian antagonist trying to break them up. I don't think that's where he'll take it, but... making Misuzu's attraction textual at the same time Jun is yanking his head out of his own denial really just sets it up as another obstacle to deal with.
