Nova thinks about talking more, but decides she does not realy wish to bother the other AI in the room, so instead she pulls up a holographic display over her left arm, and uses it to display a message.

"Do you wish for me to leave the two of you be? I can go some where else if you wish"

Lex thinks for a bit and then orders the bear steak au poivre with roasted 'roots n' shoots' and some locally brewed mead.

As she waits for her food to arrive, she waves over to David, hoping he'll come over, and nods to Val, "Yeah, he wanted to meet up with Jiko about something and I tagged along."

She then nods with Rakiri, "A lot of young Kirina learned that same lesson during the war, the hard way.. if you act like you're invincible, you're begging to be proven wrong. It's only a matter of time."

Sha'Koro looked on his shoulder where Aicha was. "She can get a bit bossy nbow and then but I promise she doesn't mean it that way, right?" The AI only opened one eye, murmuring"What Master said." Now the Insectoid robot looked to the Gynoid again, "What she didn't tell is that she has complete control over her senses, so she could just shutdown her hearing if we were to really annopy her." "But Master, I wouldn't be able to hear that heavenly sound then!" Came the protest - although delivered with a smirk.

The gynoid nods and goes back to speaking, "In that case though, couldn't you just apply a filter to our vocal ranges? I mean thats what I would do" she quried, feeling a bit better and unwraping her tail in the process.

Since not much happened, i'll just post what I have before sleeping.

The Troperia - Matthew's Room

Matthew pretty much silently returned to the Troperia. He didn't stop anywhere else. He didn't say a word to anyone. Just kept his head down, hood over his head and went straight back. This didn't even seem like Matthew. His gate had slowed, he walked with less confidence instead a slouched craven fear.

Anyone who he might have passed on the Troperia would have certainly been able to notice such fear and anxiety just plain as day. He quickly just locked himself into his room, throwing off his jacket just down to having a vested shirt and dropped himself on the bed face first. His headphones on he just lays there. Despite any music all that he could hear is Blake saying his full name, again and again.

Shard Marketplace - Primal Cuts

Blake had made his way to Primal Cuts, looking to grab something to eat and possibly he might get some leftovers for Matthew later. His normal jovial look was gone, it was a look of tired exhaustion. In his own mind it felt like he Kicked The Dog, it was necessary but it never felt right being strict or similar with him; Matthew had too much strictness and distress growing up...

Letting out a audible sigh at his own thoughts going up to the bar and placing a order of something heavy and slightly rarer. The server actually has to double and triple check the order, that isn't something that is usually human digestible, suggesting alternates but Blake was pretty definitively set on what he ordered. Again, nor he nor Rylan are ordinary humans.

It doesn't seem like he actually noticed the others in here, too distracted to take a good look around at his surroundings.

Sha'Koro chuckled "Yes, yes she is fully capable of doing it, and I'm pretty sure she already does, she just likes to be bossy sometimes, that's all." The AI mimed an angry expression - albeit with a smirk she couldn't suppress "No fair Master, I only toned you two down." That prompted Sha'Koro to chuckle again "See? No worries. I can even feel my own worries fade away here."

Unknown Star System Approx. 178 Parsecs away from the Takonov Star System, 4.2 parsecs away from Nos Lycarin:

In a seemingly desolate Class-A star system, a small transport craft shaped like a bird of prey that was somehow capable of jumping around various star systems despite having a maximum occupancy of 12 people would appear. Within this transport was a small security team of 6 avian-raptor aliens known as Kahmandra (or Kahmanshaw depending on who you asked), who were in a state of confusion after realizing where they were.

“This doesn't look right, we were supposed to end up in a Class K star system with 7 planets in orbit. Why's the sun white, and why are there only 2 planets and 3 asteroid belts here?” The pilot of the vessel wondered. “I don't know, did things really change that much between jumps? I thought we off-set most of the effects of space-time related to space travel.” The copilot asked in response. “All systems are online and functioning properly. You sure you put in the right coordinates?” A third member of the crew questioned. “Of course I——” The pilot tried to answer before cutting himself off. “Wait a minute...I think I might have....”

“Let me guess, you forgot the coordinates and mashed together whatever buttons thought were right?” The co-pilot snidely remarked. “No, I thought I entered everything right. I just made a damn typo, an honest mistake!” The pilot answered trying to defend his mistake before a fourth team member tried to assure, “Calm down Jrezgull, it could have happened to anyone. All we'll need to do is wait for the warp drive to cool down and re-enter the right set of coordinates.” “Easy for you to say Torvahk, you don't know the first thing about flying a spaceship! For one thing our warp technologies don't just let us go where we want, we need to coordinate a series of jumps due to a limited travel radius and energy supply. Since I don't know where we screwed up, we could end up spending anywhere from 4-20 jumps finding our way back to our assignment.” The pilot replied, more annoyed with his shortcomings than anything else.

“Well we can't be too far off, we're six degrees off course and about 160 parsecs away from our intended destination.” The co-pilot offered in an ambiguously sarcastic tone. “You should know better than to belittle how much distance is in a single parsec, they aren't miles you know. By the time we get to our correct destination, by which I mean if we do, we'll probably be so late that not only will we not get paid, we'll probably get some kind of disciplinary action. I'm predicting pay-cuts for the next assignment at the least if we don't get demoted to desk work!” Jrezgull explained in annoyance, which was rooted in the knowledge that they as a unit would suffer for his own mistakes. The conversation would have continued, had the group not received an unexpected transmission that they immediately answered with low-budget comm systems that featured no visual feed of who was calling them, only to suffer a series of boastful threats they couldn't tell was a bravado, mainly because there was no telling what was being said at all.

“What were they saying?!” A fifth team member asked, having been woken up by the bizarre alien language over the comms. “Most likely came from that planet's surface with the desert moon. Whatever they said was clearly in a language our translators don't recognize, but we have to assume it was serious.” The sixth member of the security team suggested before the pilot tried to respond over the comms, “Attention unknown lifeforms, we have heard your transmission and are preparing to leave the system as soon as possible. We mean no harm!” “That definitely didn't sound like something out of a bad movie...” The third team member remarked before Jrezgull demanded them to shut up. A few moments later, they would receive a much longer tirade in a raspy, angry language that nobody aboard the ship understood, which oddly enough ended with a sound like wicked laughter.

“That never sounds good...” Torvahk simply said before the co-pilot drew everyone's attention to the sight of a small squadron of fighters that were soaring toward the transport ship at an alarmingly fast rate. “Evasive maneuvers now!” She demanded before Jrezgull quickly accelerated while bringing the ship to a dive, narrowly evading the suicide squadron that would have crashed into them. “They're turning around, we need to return fire!” The fifth team member said anxiously before the co-pilot reminded, “This is a transport shuttle, it doesn't have any guns!” “We're a private security team in a spaceship with no guns? How does that make sense?” Torvahk questioned before Jrezgull answered, “Because that's all they had to give us, how should I know?! Only thing we can do is wait a few minutes for the warp drive to finish recharging!” Suddenly, a loud bang could be heard, followed by the lights and interfaces of the transport ship flickering uncontrollably.

“Well it looks like we'll need a new plan, they just took out our thrusters and one of our stabilizers!” The co-pilot warned the group as the ship uncontrollably started heading toward the desert moon orbiting the planet where the attackers came from. “So a freaking transport ship meant to house 12 people doesn't have so much as a laser cannon, but five junk fighters have weapons? What kind of s**t is that?!” The sixth team member wanted to know. “It's complete nonsense, but on the bright side they took out the power to the annoying alarms that would have gone off endlessly.” Torvahk facetiously pointed out with a smirk hidden in his helmet. “All jokes aside, I hope everyone's ready to bring this fight down moonside!” The pilot informed everyone as they began their forced descent, avoiding more weapon fire along the way until they'd inevitably crash onto the desert moon's surface. During this time, one of the crew members tried to broadcast an all-frequency hail at the furthest range the ship could transmit, however it wouldn't do much not only because its maximum broadcasting range was 2 parsecs, but because it would be cut off at impact.

"Well, I'm only 56, I still have a lot ta learn. I am pretty hard ta kill, though." Mitch says to them both. The waiter returns with his second plate, another steak with mushrooms and gravy. "Ah, thanks. This should be delicious. ...Just like somethin' else here." He winks to him, and he makes a flustered smile in response before walking away.

"I've seen how they train soldiers on Hestia, and I can say that it's mainly a matter of culture, backed up by evidence. Even their standard troops can surpass special forces units from many races. The primary drawbacks are what you'd expect from an entire military force consisting of elites; it takes years of training for them to be considered combat-capable, and decades for fully-trained ones. And the loss of even one person can hurt a team significantly." Val says.

"Iriden is different. Our method of minimizing risk and maximizing success rates is by making it so our side takes the field as little as possible by mechanizing... well, pretty much everything. We can almost say that our military force is more of a series of glorified, weaponized engineering corps."

"...Well said." Mitch compliments Val. "Ya know why?" He asks Lex, shifting his eyes to David briefly.

"Nice to meet you, too, Russell...and thanks for not judging me." Amos says, returning the handshake. "I know how it feels to be on that side of things, so...I know it's not enjoyable. Also, I might have misheard, but did those bullies call you...a "bat", earlier? Because if it's for the reason I'm thinking it was...that's just rude..."

"I'm glad." he answers with a smile before he starts to pick out the next outfit. As Tor is doing so, a sudden thought comes to his mind and he can't help but ask. "...Kyerine. Do you...have any parents?"

Rakiri blinks, not expecting the sudden exposition, being struck speechless for a moment.

"Uh...ok, cool, I guess...and my point was completely missed apparently, that's awesome..." he says before sighing and folding his arms. When he sees Mitch hitting on the waiter, his fingers dig into his arm slightly and sparks start to trail off his body as he mutters something angrily to himself.

Always looking for new recruits, but super secretive about what it is they do," his face darkens for a moment, but lightens up when his own order comes (damn, talk about fast service), "and for good reason I guess. Anyway, he'll come over when he's ready. And if he doesn't, I'll go over there, no big deal." After this short spiel, he listens to the others quietly, observing and learning.

Meanwhile, David downs a quick shot and sets the glass down. He is still somewhat conflicted, but figures they've got time. Another shot or two should loosen him up just enough, he thinks.

"Then if I can, why haven't you?" Michael asks cautiously at upsetting him before.

"I cant, my eyes used to work fine but before I was born the nerve thingy in the back of my eyes got infected and since my parents weren't anywhere near a hospital or anything they had to just remove it. By the time they got planetside it was apparently too late to try, my brain wouldn't be able to learn to see or something..." Russell explains to the best of his limited ability. Not upset or angry at all, he had his previous cheerful look back already.

Then he looks over to Amos. "Oh sorry, if you could go ahead but I don't want to take it off." He extends over hand and wrist towards Amos a little. A little nervous, being his preferred method of "sight".

Unknown Star System 4.2 parsecs away from Nos Lycarin, Unknown moon:

After what seemed like an eternity but was in reality closer to a Terran half-hour, Torvahk Grevom would regain consciousness and bring himself back on his feet despite his aching soreness he felt virtually everywhere. He looked around and saw that the transport ship had crashed into the desert moon's surface, most likely half-buried in a sand dune and listing over to the left side. While Torvahk would have normally been able to use his HUD UI to determine the vital signs of his teammates, his helmet seemed to have been damaged by the impact, and while he wasn't bleeding he quickly realized how lucky he was to be alive after noticing that Jrezgull wasn't so fortunate...having left a massive ring of cracks in the main viewport after the crash caused him to smash his face into it with enough force to shatter his helmet visor and break his neck.

“Seatbelt must not have held...” Torvahk muttered before looking around and reclaiming his own equipment. “If any of you can hear me, sound off! I need to know who isn't dead.” Grevom shouted, assuming the role of leadership temporarily due to the death of the actual commander. A few moments later, one of the team members would reply, “Tekk Drezgil, Private First Class wounded but still kicking.” “ Corporal Dehneen, Telecom Operator and CQC still alive...sort of.” The co-pilot would answer after struggling to free herself from the cockpit. She had been wedged between the co-pilot's chair and the controls, but eventually succeeded in freeing herself despite possible internal injuries. The remaining 2 security team members would respond, some of them substituting intelligible words with groans and other noises indicating moderate to severe injuries.

“Last thing I remember those damned fighters were shooting us down, and then they took several potshots around us before breaking off like they were missing intentionally.” Corporal Dehneen recalled before Torvahk figured, “Those cocky brehkts must have assumed that we'd all die in the crash if they stopped trying to shoot at us once we reached the moon's orbit. Good thing that wasn't the case.” “Not all of us made it through, in case you didn't notice Sargent Jrezgull's DOA. A shame too considering that he died thinking he damned us all.” The corporal reminded him before one of the team members pointed out, “Well if we don't find a way out of this, he might have just damned all of us.”

“Show some discipline Krekktul, where's your respect for the dead?” Dehneen demanded before adding, “According to the chain of succession, I'm to be in charge of this team until we return back to homeworld. First thing we need to do an inventory check, see how much supplies we can still use.” The conversation would end for a few moments as the five remaining security team members looked around, collecting what they could find and reporting their efforts. “We have very little food and water, I'd say enough for a day and a half.” Tekk reported before another one of the security team crew members added, “We might have less time than that, our ship's life support's only good for almost a day.” “Well then we'd better use this time wisely,” Corporal Dehneen said before suggesting, “Two of us should scout our surroundings and see what we're dealing with, while everyone else stays to guard the ship and see how much of it's still operational.”

“At this point, any plan is starting to sound better than none at all. Krekktul and I will take scouting duty.” Torvahk offered without Krekktul's consent, who sighed in annoyance after noticing this. “Alright, don't hesitate to report your findings on the comms if they still work. I'll let you both know what still works on this scrap pile.” Dehnnen replied before Torvahk and Krekktul left the shipwreck and set out to explore the environment around them.

Tor holds his hands up, noting a few people glancing over at the outburst, but mostly ignores it. "Peace, Kyerine...calm yourself. I already promised that you were not going to be made to go back there. Do not worry. I was simply curious." he quickly explains. "That said, I apologize for being so thoughtless in my questions...can you forgive me?"

Rakiri glances at Lex as she supports him, giving an appreciative nod. That doesn't make it any less annoying... he says mentally. He calms down enough to stop spark at least...for the moment and gives Mitch a hard look. "It's just somewhat jarring for you to kinda ask me out and then oogle someone else right in front of my face. My inner Echirean is kinda telling me I should do something about it. And no, not a good something."

At Val's question, his expression softens slightly. "E-Eh, well...yeah..." he answers, blushing slightly. "I actually do like being around you...even when you're thinking with the with the head in your pants at the wrong time." he continues, looking at Mitch as he says the second part.

"No need, it'll only take me a second." Holding Russell's wrist with his organic hand, he raises his cybernetic one, the tips on one of the fingers becoming covered in circuits. He opens up the faceplate of the device and touches the areas where the circuits are damaged, making tiny sparks as he repairs them. A few moments later, when he's satisfied, he closes it back up. "Alright, I think that should do it. Try it out."

"No, just return to echo mode." Russell replies, the screen flashing back to standby. Then he looks back to Amos and Michael. "It seems to work fine now. Thanks a lot." He says very cheerfully.

"I am glad we could help, Amos should we go inside and actually enjoy ourselves a bit now?" Michael asks with a relieved look towards the fact Russell seems okay.

"Could I hang around with you guys? You seem really cool and a lot of the games are more fun in pairs or groups?" Russell asks excitedly.

Primal Cuts

Lex nods back to Rakiri, "I can understand that, but, don't do something you'll end up regretting."

Lex chuckles then, glancing at David briefly, "He would have to either be pretty fucking desperate or stupid to try.."

She smiles to Blake next, "Well, you're more than welcome. What did you order?"

Axle's Extreme Sports Emporium

Chris goes over to Peter, looking over the gloves, and smiling and stroking his hand, "I think they'd look great on you, hon."

He sees a bow that comes with a quiver and several dozen arrows tipped with armour piercing heads, and his fingers twitch a bit, a hunger in his eyes.

"Well, he's comin' here now." Mitch says to Jiko.

"Look, you do know the kind of person I am before we started going out together." He says to Rakiri, sounding more serious than usual and briefly dropping his accent. "That being said, I'm sorry I offended you."

"Aww, thanks. I guess I kinda embarrassed myself by rambling on about militaries just now..." Val scratches the side of his head.

"Well, do you wanna sit down with us?" Val asks Blake.

"Hm... how about that one?" Izzie points to a black hoverboard that actually looks rather similar to a skateboard, except instead of wheels, it has blue thrusters. It also appears to be collapsible for easier storage.

"Guess I'll be buying this, then. Two pairs, actually, just in case." Peter says gleefully.

"...'S fine." Rakiri responds to Val, reaching over and affectionately rubbing his back. He looks at Mitch before he places his hands on the table and stands. "Yeah, well, I don't know if I forgive you. I'm going to take a pass." he says then turns and pauses, making a confused expression. "Er, or piss...whatever." he says before walking off.

"Ooh!" Greg eagerly goes over and picks up the board off the rack, looking it over. "This looks cool. I wonder if I could try it out..."

Armasa Clothing

Tor wraps his arm around Kyerine in kind, as well as he can with his height, and pats his head. "It is alright. Say, why don't we go and buy some ice cream after this?" he offers.

Delta Dash Arcade

"Sure. And sure." Amos says, answering them both. "Like they say, the more the merrier. Is that alright with you, Michael?" he asks, eager to get started now as well.

Chris smiles and strokes Peter's hair, "Sure, cutie. You might want to check if you can use your abilities with them on, though."

He then wanders over to the bow, and picks it up, feeling its weight, then turns his head as he hears Greg's statement, "Please be careful, hon.."
