Well, I have my EA Live press pass.
So what we're seeing here thus far is an E3 that opens with EA and closes with Ubisoft. That's... wonderful.
Also, EA's presentation should be fun to watch this year, if only to see how much of the crowd is going to be pissed-off fans. I really want to see EA reveal some new game and have the whole crowd just stare quietly at them. Probably not going to happen, though.
To be honest, I'm kind of looking forward to Microsoft and Bethesda's presentations. Any word on a possible Elder Scrolls game or something of the type? It's about time a new one came out, isn't it? Or are they scared they can't hit another Skyrim?
I wonder if Nintendo can win E3 two years in a row. They have Smash Bros, so it's certainly possible.
I just want Sony to bring back the orchestra from 2016.
"Winning" E3 is a matter of perspective.
Where there's life, there's hope.I agree, it is a matter of perspective and opinion. That said, the majority opinion last year seemed to be that Nintendo won.
I didn't buy a Switch nor buy any games. Obviously, Nintendo "won" nothing from me. LOL
E3 is not a sports event. There's no winners, no losers.
Just memorable moments like this:
Oh, I would definitely say there are "losers" at some E3s.
While I have always been a major Nintendo fan, I never really cared for the console wars and who "wins" at E3. All I care about is seeing what sort of games are coming out, and if people who own different consoles end up getting some really good games, I'm happy that they have something to look forward to.
Nintendo actually having a real press conference after ducking out for years...
What? This is still the same video presentation they have been doing for years.
x4
Yeah. Its not a competition, but there are some losers. "Women are hard to animate" being a memorable one.
"What? This is still the same video presentation they have been doing for years."
(chuckle) Proving my point for me?
Because it's not like every company has basically the same E3 format that they've used for years...
Personally speaking, if Nintendo "wins" E3 this year this'd be the third year in a row for me personally, even minding that one of those two years was entirely devoted to one game.
Ending on Ubisoft is a bit of a fizzle, but at least you can always count on them for a bizarre and eccentric showing- the annual live-action Just Dance number is one of the highlights of every E3, yeah?
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaI mean, last year Sony did the same thing Nintendo has been doing for awhile. Only difference was having a live audience to show off to. Ubi was the only one that justified having a live conference.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences."Nintendo "wins" E3 this year this'd be the third year in a row for me personally"
I didn't think Nintendo "won" anything in the past few years. Nothing they showed interested me. My lack of a Wii U and Switch is proof of that. Hell, in the years you're mentioning, they showed Super Mario Maker and that was it.
That's "winning"? (chuckle)

Oh, man, I've been waiting for news on Yoshi's Murder Island! After Yoshi got arrested for tax fraud, the franchise has been on a cliffhanger ever since!
