I think a trope with almost 5000 inbounds needs a bit of evidence before we can drag it into TRS.

This trope's about characters taking advantage on how things usually go within their world for their own benefit, showing just how clever or wise a character is. A great trope for tricksters, Guile Heroes, etc. The problem with this trope? The fact that its name is a Bad Snowclone of Genre Savvy.
I believe the trope was named back when Genre Savvy was undergoing major misuse for anyone being knowledgeable about a given situation while they're in it. As actions had been taken in an attempt to bring the trope back to what it's originally intended to be about (that is, knowledge about the given situation being obtained from fiction), I guess it's safe to say this trope should be renamed or else more confusion may ensue.
