There are restrictions on new accounts but 500 errors are not part of them.

i don't know if i'm just been doing something incredibly stupid, but 95% of the time when i try to edit a page, it gives me a 500 error. is it because this account is new? because i'm trying to edit too many pages in a short period of time? it seems to work the first time, but if i go to another page, or notice an error in what i wrote, then it 500s me
