Re-opened. This pic was added to the page recently but was removed shortly thereafter. I'm not really sure that it illustrates the page...not really sure that any pic can adequately cover this one. Thoughts?
Since the pic was removed, this thread can be closed.
Ah, no, I want to come to some sort of final decision about what to do with the page.
S1m0ne parodies this trope with an incomprehensibly artistic film named "I am pig"◊, where the Virtual Celebrity stars in a wedding dress and eats from a pig trough.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Uhhhh...sorry, what?
You heard that right. The director in the film intentionally made an inscrutably offensive "art film" in an attempt to sabotage his creation's career. Instead, it's celebrated as a daring masterpiece.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Unless a very good caption is written under it, I don't think that pic is illustrative at all.
It's clearly a Show Within a Show, and the blue color lighting and bizarre subject matter suggests "pretentiously artsy" to me. It does tick off a lot of the boxes in the descriptionnote , including being incomprehensible, monochrome, angsty, offensive, and pretentious, so I don't see how it would actually have zero illustrative value.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"'Tis better than nowt.
(Annoyed grunt)My only objection to 6.1 is that I'm not sure how it will look at wiki size.
Bump. Other thoughts or suggestions?
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I think the old image (3) was fine, shouldn't have been pulled, and should be restored.
If you think it's important to have an indication the image is from a movie, add one. A caption can mitigate all sorts of problems.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Crowner's hooked.
Friday votes bump; two in the green, one with a pretty strong lead.
I think it's safe to go ahead and call this. The new pic's up and tagged; caption?
No caption comes to mind. It could be fine without.

(Annoyed grunt)Going ahead and locking this one.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
Hate to open up another thread, but I don't the image (added very recently) illustrates the trope at all. There's no indication that the image is from a movie; it just looks some guy watching a dead woman laying on the ground fro some reason. Again, hate to open a new thread!
