Temp-locking until the backlog clears out some more.
Re-opened. I have no idea how the current is supposed to illustrate the trope.
I have a vague idea of how the image qualifies as an example but the biggest clue is the name of the trope. I'm ok with pulling it.

Current is definitely JAFAAC. Pull.
Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project!Pull without replacement. Given the nature of this trope, I think you need at least three shots to get this across.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"7.1 looks good.
Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project!Looks good enough to me.
(Annoyed grunt)Works well enough. 7.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"7 works better than the current.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportAs long as 7 isn't the entire strip, it's really good.

Hmm. It is the entire strip. Sinfest strips usually are four panels, from what I've noticed.
Guess we'll have to look elsewhere?

(Annoyed grunt)If that's the case, maybe we can do without panel 1.
Alternatively, there's the first three panels of this.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportThe El Goonish Shive option is probably the best.
(Annoyed grunt)14 could also work as a Helpful Hallucination.
I don't think so...strikes me as a memory rather than a hallucination.
With both options, at wiki size I think they'll be hard to read. I tested the Sinfest strip minus the first panel and with the panels horizontal the text in the last panel is almost unreadable. With either option, we could instead do a 2x1 arrangement and not have legibility issues.

^ What's wrong with the 4-panel version? We could shrink it some more.

Post 13.
Alright, wasn't aware that we are not allowed to use whole strips. More variants to choose from:
Either take on the Sinfest strip works better than the EGS one for me, for conciseness if nothing else. The fix to the horizontal version takes care of the legibility issue.
^^ Stacking them vertically doesn't look right with a trope description this small, so I'm gonna go with Sinfest #2.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"20.3, then.
(Annoyed grunt)I prefer 20.2, although 20.1 is also good. I can only see the first panel of 20.3 because it's cut off by the edge of the post so I can't judge it.
Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project!Here's 20.3.
