Question: Would Shade be with the rest of the soon-to-be-paroled villains? I wouldn't think she'd need to be in chains in a cage considering her situation, but then again maybe the prison establishment doesn't care.

Hmm, I don't know... maybe I'm going to go with a more cynical character as opposed to the idealistic one. You can't just go slashing people about without consequences and run away. This character is stuck with those consequences, forever. They won't go away no matter how hard he tries. He can't fly. He doesn't have superpowers. And if he tries he'll end up in a bloodbath.
The guy's in an absolute hellhole with his fate dictated by people's ideals. They made those ideals and his job is to fight for them as a powerless human being. The odds are against him and he is somehow expected to combat supernatural threats, it's either than or he's just another meatshield waiting to be cleaved asunder.
Supers can run as fast as the speed as light, but Harvey wants to be there for people. Supers can have the power of light, but all Harvey wants is to give people a bit of hope. Supers can scream at high-pitched tones, but Harvey has a voice. Supers can control people's minds, but Harvey wants to open people's hearts.
I don't want Harvey to be a hero or a villain, I want him to be Harvey Stewart.
(Damn, I'm too immersed in my character. This is both a good and bad thing.)

Hey, since China Doll is a gadgeteer it's ok if she uses weapons/gadgets/tools of tortures that are not on her Assets part of the subscription? In a way, it can be handwaved as a contraption she came up recently.
