They should be indexed like any other character page. Number of characters on them doesn't matter.

As one of the people who worked on shaping that page up a while back, I originally put one other character in there who did appear across multiple storylines (some books in that series are standalone and others do form parts of ongoing stories that span 2-3 books), but someone seems to have removed her (Lady Cregga Rose Eyes).
There may be one or two other characters who fit that bill, but I didn't remember them off the top of my head. Wiki Magic went the other way, though.

I've noticed something with character pages; sometimes, a single character is so important that they get a whole page all to themselves.
Should we index these? The main one I can think of offhand is Martin the Warrior, from Redwall (he takes up the Multiple Books subpage of the character sheet).
