Seriously, what the fuck, Activision? Why won't you just announce the damn thing already?

I find rather hilarious how they're calling it "The Official Leak".

I guess probably because they're aware of how people found out about it before Platinum or Activision said anything about it?

I guess it's a mix of everything then? Cool. Also, Bebop with a chainsaw is as unexpected as it is awesome.

Looks essentially like Out of the Shadows with a more lean artwork, and in actually not shitty. Bring it.

It's by the director of the Korra game by the way.

Which wasn't bad. Just low budget and rushed.

Well, let's say it had a solid mechanical core stuffed into what's little more than a proof-of-concept-slash-tech-demo environment. It really feels like an early alpha at best, content-wise. But thankfully Transformers Devastation was the exact opposite.

Current gameplay. After the nicely polished Transformers: Devastation, this looks disappointingly cheap. That said, I smell strong Anarchy Reigns vibes, which in my book is a good thing.

Its not that they are creepy, more that that artstyle suits better for comics than cellshade :'D

I mean, the comic book still had that cartoon-ish look in terms of the turtles' design...

So the game came out and... it's not very good.

Also:

One of Platinum's guiding pillars for Mutants in Manhattan was that it was foregoing local cooperative play to ensure 60 frames-per-second gameplay. That never happened. The game is locked to 30fps across all platforms (while still only allowing for online multiplayer).

I'm starting to think Platinum needs to stay away from licensed games. Though Devastation was at least good, if too overpriced.

I think they have to care about the property. Korra - Didn't care. Transformers - They cared. A lot. Looks like we're back to not caring.

Well maybe someone on the team (Kamiya himself?) was a Transformers fan... but Korra and TMNT..? Meh?

I can see it coming, Total Biscuit is about to rip apart this game...

Korra at least was fairly inoffensive. It wasn't great or anything but as far as licensed games go, it could have been much worse. This sounds like it took the problems that Korra had and amplified them.

I wonder if it's any better then Out Of The Shadows(The shitty downloadable game, not the upcoming movie).
