Weapons and Equipment:

• In Valoran, it is know as The Banner of Heaven◊. Aside from being a spear of unsurpassed craftsmanship, it can extend into a multi-sectioned staff which adds to Benkei's already formidable range.
• Upon entering the service of the Crown of Vale, Benkei's tosei-gosoku armor has been reforged in the lighter alloys favored by Valoran warriors. But the one thing that remains the same is his favorite war mask◊.

Semblance: Wall of Steel - In the span of 10 heartbeats, Benkei will speed up his reaction time to the point his perception of time slows down. It is the key of his performance and has earned him the attentions of Nami Doji, as well as a place as her cupbearer.

Personality: The mountain to her howling gale, Benkei is a quietly devoted and patient servant to Ragnelle and her forthright personality. A traditionalist and product of a different time, Benkei keeps his thoughts to himself and is more of a teacher-by-example.

History: Benkei Shirobara had been Ragnelle's life ward ever since she was 10 years old. As a young man, he was formerly the most able servant to Nami Doji, a noble emigre from Vacuo. In a gesture of good faith, his service was gifted to the House of Vale "to ward the lives of your most precious treasures as surely as I stand before you," said his former mistress.

A long time ago, Benkei had chafed at the duty of watching over a little girl with a temper that matched her shoe size. But he knew the honor his master had placed upon his shoulders. And he did have an idea of where that rage came from. Ever since then, no matter where life had taken Elle, she had always been shadowed by her titanic bodyguard.

• Name: Riko Nishiki (錦鯉子)
• Sex: Female
• Age: 21
• Birthday: Finem 6
• Race: Faunus (Koi Fish)
• Kingdom: Vacuo; Western
• Alignment: Vacuo, Vale
• Appearance: Here's a picture. As a koi faunus, Riko's only visible faunus features—vestigial fins hanging off her hips—are normally concealed by clothing, causing Riko to appear otherwise human.
• Weapons and Equipment:
  • Taisho Sanshoku◊, a katana placed in a scabbard worn on her hip. A Dust-powered mechanism ejects the blade from the scabbard with incredible speed, usually leading into a powerful draw attack that is enhanced by whatever type of Dust is stored in the cartridge attached to her scabbard.
  • Showa Sanshoku◊, a bladed war fan. Its initial folded form is used in place of a wakizashi, and when unfolded, it is used as a proper war fan. However, its secret is its ability to unfold the full 360 degrees, expand, and become a shield. When not in use, it attaches to a sheath on the underside of her sword's scabbard.
• Semblance: Reflow. Like redirecting the flow of water, Riko's Semblance allows her to alter the direction of momentum for her own body and whatever she is holding. This makes her movements more graceful and efficient, but is especially useful for redirecting her sword without losing the speed of her lightning quick draw attacks.
• Personality: Riko is mature, highly educated, and usually polite to a fault. However, when pushed to it, Riko can demonstrate a side that is intimidatingly forceful. She often uses this side of herself to help fend off Ragnelle's would-be suitors (though Ragnelle is fairly capable of this herself where needed).
• History:
  • In spite of being koi faunus, the Nishiki family are some of the only faunus in Western Vacuo to enjoy a degree of social status. This is due to their entire existence hinging on the carefully arranged marriage of koi faunus conducted by the Vacuonese royalty, which breeds a culture that rewards Nishiki born with natural beauty, while the 'runts' are cast out. This long standing tradition keeps the Nishiki family alive and in service of the Vacuonese royal family.
  • Vacuo alternates between members of the Shirobara family or the Nishiki family to send servants to Vale's royalty, as part of a centuries-spanning agreement (predating the Vytal Festival) to strengthen the ties between Vacuo and Vale, the two countries living together on the continent of Vytal. As Benkei was getting on in age, the Vacuonese royals sent Riko to assist him.

• Name: Fevrier Bladetooth
• Sex: Female
• Age: 26
• Birthday: Novus 21
• Race: Great White Shark Faunus
• Kingdom: Vale
• Appearance: Fevrier is a white haired woman, a muscular giant that stands at 6'6". She is rather human looking like the members of her clan, the only faunus traits visible being her amber eyes and shark-like teeth. She commonly wears male formal clothes, black slacks with matching shoes and suspenders as a neatly pressed white dress shirt. The only attire that is out of the ordinary is a clip-on tie, one with cartoony shark patterns on it.
• Weapons and Equipment:
  • Headtapper is a large warhammer, one so solid and heavy a full grown man would need both hands to lift it. Fevrier needs only one to swing it around. Aside from being a virtually indestructible weapon and a great paperweight, there isn't much special about it.
  • Sword on a rope is a sword on a rope.
  • Bag of Rocks and Sling are a sling and a bag of rocks, respectively
• Semblance: God Hand surrounds Fevrier's hands with colourless rippling Aura fields, boosting their strength and durability to incredible heights. If so inclined, she would be able to tear through things as durable as Dust-enhanced steel when God Hand is active. With enough effort, she can even shoot beams from her hands, causing significant damage to whatever they hit.
• Personality: Fevrier is a lighthearted traveller, one who greets strangers and new ideas with open arms. She is an innocent who doesn't know her own strength, much to the terror of people who have seen how ridiculously strong she can be. While she is no fan of fighting, she is stubborn in trying to protect people she thinks are good. In fact, she goes well out of her way to help them if she can. In that regard, she seems rather simpleminded, and her clipped speech doesn't help matters. But she does try her best to keep the peace and promote good wherever she can, even if it's not done in a particularly coherent way.
• History: Fevrier is an adventurer from the shark community, and somewhat of a celebrity in their small circle. There are many names she could have received in her travels. For example, 'Bearhugger' after that one time she accidentally hugged an attacking bear to death because she thought it was sad and needed a hug. Or 'Rockpuncher', when she helped a village out in the mountains establish a new trade route by tunnelling through the mass with her bare hands. In the end, she chose "Bladetooth" after an incident where she shattered a Hunter's blade with her teeth. Of course, a person with such an odd life as hers would constantly be getting into trouble. And while she didn't know it at first, Fevrier was sure to stir up a real hornet's nest when she decided to attend the royal wedding. Only an unlucky woman like her could find adventure in the most unlikely of places, and this event was sure to be a hotbed of intrigue and excitement.

• Sex:Female
• Age:27
• Birthday: 15 Flos. Though they live in the middle of nowhere, Sienna's family surprisingly has calendars.
• Race: Faunus, Dromaeosaur based (Utahraptor o.)
• Kingdom: She's lived her life majorly in the middle of nowhere in the Vacuonese desert.
• Alignment: Neutral, she's not really into politics, she isn't awfully patriotic and in general, doesn't really care about nationality and government.
• Appearance: Sienna is, by human standards a giantess, standing 2.2 meters tall (7.2 feet), she sports a very muscular and big physique and her appearance is very animalistic for a faunus, featuring wings on her each arm, long claws on her feet and hands, as well as a thick feathery tail on her rear end, her face is human excluding her sharp carnivorous teeth, bright orange/yellow eyes (think of hawk eyes) and her hair having a very feathery appearance to it with two colors in layers, with the top being a very light shade of brown and underneath it a regular dark brown. Her wings, tail and claws look basically like they do in this picture (including feather color), only the tail is a bit shorter and her feet and hands are more human-shaped than in the picture◊.
• Weapons and Equipment: Hypertrophied claws: Sienna doesn't really use orthodox weaponry, guns, blades or spears, instead, she fights as she was taught since birth, she uses the weapons she holds in her body. Her hands, wings and feet. With the special, sickle shaped toe claw, aided by her other claws of course, she is specialized in hooking and grappling targets. Using her weight to pin them down, standing on them and restraining them in place with her feet, the sickle-shaped claw is very good at hooking objects and making struggling out of her grasp hard. Her fingers also end in large claws she can use to fight, though they're mostly used in sync with her feet. She also wears light leather armor, mostly made of salvaged materials.◊
• Bone Breaker: Sienna has the ability to turn her aura into brute force and use said force with her own body parts as they collide with other objects.
• Personality: Sienna is a collected person, slightly awkward in casual informal social interactions as most of her manners comes from learning to talk to merchants and family, but she's not really shy and rarely, if ever shows nervousness. Most of the time she's serious and collected, but she also has a secret side, should she be challenged, she won't back down, and she will tap into her strong competitive streak, when she is doing so, she becomes much, much more lively and fierce, a fearsome foe to face, she is not one to win through trickery or cheating, but she Is willing to do a lot to achieve victory.
• History: Sienna was born to a hunting family living in the Vacuonese desert area, far from any city and other people other than her family, most of her life she learned to hunt animals, for food and for selling the rest of them. On the way, she was taught a bit of bartering, as her family traded hides and other animal goods in exchange for tools and anything that they could use (AKA not money), in any other subject she lacks education. She knows Vacuonese and Common though, as she was taught by a stranger named Fevrier who passed her family by and stayed with them for a while, teaching her how to speak it in the case Sienna would want to visit Fevrier in her country.
• A few years after, one of the merchant who came to trade with them delivered them a message which came from Fevrier, an invitation from her to hunt, hunt for exotic materials that they could sell, a field good for plunder, and so her family allowed sending her to Vale for that reason, to come back with a lot of exotic goods from her hunt. The message was obviously delayed in its delivery, seeing as it was delivered to the middle of nowhere, but nonetheless Sienna began to travel to Vale on her own, starting the dangerous trek in the direction of the far-away kingdom.
• After a few hard months alone, she finally arrived in the foreign country. Searching for her hunting partner. Realizing the date of their meeting has long passed, she began to search for her, eventually coming across the news of an important event, a wedding of the rulers of this place. She imagined that from all the people who'd go to such a celebration she'd have a large chance of finding her buddy, and therefore attended it in search of her friend.
