I have been trying to convert a .doc file to a pdf/a1 file so that the Preview Function works on Drivethrough RPG.com. The problem is every time I try to convert it, it either get's mangled or is not the proper format. Trying to use Acrobat to convert a file that looks right but is the wrong standard kicks me an error at the very end of the process.

Does anyone have any advice?

You can convert the two in Open Office, but I don't know if it can handle formatting.

You are dazzled by my array of very legal documents.

If you use Libre Office, and you go to Export PDF, you can select PDF/A.

I use WPS. Open Office is horrendous to use. Libre keeps suffering breakdowns while i'm in the middle of editing. uninstalled, reinstalled, tried different sources... still will not stay working long enough to correct all the format errors from when i move the file over.
