They're all good but I like that last one best.

I concur. The framing is better in 1.4.

1.4 is great.

Though 1.4 is best, I would have liked the background character to be more tense.

1.4 gets my vote.

Sure it does; the guy's shadow is directly underneath him. Like the sun would do at a specific time. Namely, high noon.

I had to really zoom in on it on my phone but you are right and is that a clock on the lower left face of the building?
