Yeah, if anyone has a powerlevel different from what we've been told, it's Nooroo. "Oh! I can just take control of multiple people and give them each different powers, which can work together in a combinatorial explosion, and can even have my own minions use their own mind control, or make their own superpowered teams (or both), and they can only be defeated by breaking the correct item, which, unless the Akuma inside is defeated, just turns one of my minions into an entire army, and I can replicate the powers of other miraculouses in my own minions or have my minions mind control or kill the users of other miracaulouses and I have city-wide range at least, and I can sense people and their emotions around the city as well, which increases my recruitment capabilities."

Unless Nooroo's revealed to be only capable of maintaining one minion at a time, or to have zero control over the powers of his minions, or some other limitations, his powers are by far the most impressive we've witnessed.

He can also force the people with his powers to do his bidding if they resist his mind control by hurting them. Nooroo's only real limitation seems to be that he doesn't grant his owner any enhanced physical abilities, and that hasn't really stopped Hawkmoth at all.

Now we haven't seen Ladybug or Noir's full powers yet, but it won't be easy to show that Tikki and Plagg are more powerful than Nooroo.

Well, I think some of it—like the hurting people and the multiplication—is implied to be because his powers have been corrupted by Hawkmoth's evil, hence why the butterflies always need to be purified. My guess is any kwami could get a similar evil power boost.

Nooroo's seems like the kind of power that you would think had restrictions and limits if you're not a heartless sadistic monster. But then it lands into evil hands...

  • Hawkmoth: "So... you can detect the emotions of people throughout the city?"
  • Nooroo: "Yeah..?"
  • Hawkmoth: "Can you, I dunno, manipulate those emotions?"
  • Nooroo: "I don't think so... maybe? I can help people be more courageous and confident in the fight against evil, but I've never had to-"
  • Hawkmoth: "Excellent! Turn that moody teenager into a death machine for me, would you?"
  • Nooroo: "But... but..."

You know, it must really suck to live in a city where a single bad day can turn you a vindictive superpowered sociopath. I like that after Ivan everyone understands that what akuma victims do isn't their fault and instantly forgives them. Not even Chloe gives people a hard time about it, well not usually.

Yup. Hawkmoth is real paranoia fuel. Thankfully people seem to understand that the victims are just that.

It helps there's not too much of a masquerade going on, it's public knowledge people can develop strange powers, and Ladybug and Cat Noir will be there to fix the problem. Enough that the city's fully funded a statue in their honor.

But yeah, Nooroo too OP, plz nerf.

So we have a name for the Bee Kwami, it's Pollen.

At least it's not a meme-worthy name like Beatrice or Bea.

I'm cool with that. Though I personally would've liked it if the kwamis had theme naming similar to Tiki and to what I thought Plagg's name was at first (Plaque). (So, things like Talisman, Icon, Sign, Symbol, Emblem, Badge, Merit, Banner, Flag etc.)

So far the the only rules seems to be short with double letters.

The names also refer the power/meaning behind the Miraculous: Tikis are good luck charms, Plagg has the same origins as the word "plague," Wayzz who seems to be a mentor figure with psychic powers who sets people on the right path, and now Pollen obviously refers to bees, though we don't know what her powers' theme will be yet. I dunno about Nooroo, though.

Trixx is obvious in this case as well - the Cunning Like a Fox trope exists for a reason. Duusu isn't as clear, though.

This is a sinkhole.

I personally think Pollen is a little too on the nose, though. All the other kwami are named to reference a part of their abilities. Tikki = Tyche, Plagg=Plague, Wayzz=Wise, Trixx are for kids is obvious. Pollen is just... bee.

Pollen could still be a reference to her powers. She could...uh...looking up pollen... oh my...be a matchmaker? Bees carry pollen from flower to flower, so...Oh, maybe she influence people's decisions? And infecting few people makes it a minor version of Hive Mind. Had to say it.

Well pollen helps plants grow, so it's probably something in relation to that.

Oh don't remind me of that annoying twit. Pretty Cure, not Miraculous.

Plant powers would be pretty cool to see actually. I'm fine with the name, it fits and sounds mildly cute.

Having recently watched the first season of W.I.T.C.H. plant powers are super awesome and effective, specifically if they include wood and if anyone tells you otherwise they need to see Cornelia in action.

At the same time though I pettily don't want Chloe to get the awesome powerset.

Given the restrictions on Miraculous holder's abilities I can easily see it balancing out.

My own original magical girl setting has plant powers as a common thing (though the more powerful can make that into "power over life in general"), so I'm totally in support of such powers.

Wasn't Zagtoon making a show about magic girl with plant powers, Pixie Girl?

Btw they made another show Zak Storm and whole season was released, but only in France.

I think Pixie Girl is just your standard magical girl show but I could be wrong. That said, do we know when exactly season two of Miraculous Ladybug is supposed to start airing in France? I know it's supposed to start in May and that the English version will be uploaded to Netflix in June but I'm not sure about exact dates...

That's what I've heard as well.

I'm just happy that since they're now going digital, the English version doesn't get shafted. Thanks, Nick.
