Scrapyard

"We're almost done here, we'll be making a quick swing by the outer rim to see if we can find any new arrivals first. But a trip to your lab wouldn't hurt, I can only imagine how it would look now," X responded as he finished welding in the last few components, his buster discharging a steady focused beam of plasma.

In a moment, it was done, X closed up the Nacells and drifted out to the main airlock, the console of the shuttle reporting that airlock fields were active and functional. One working shuttle in their hands, X opened the door and was greeted with a soft blue glow keeping the ship's internal atmosphere in.

Everything worked, the Reploid sighed in relief and jumped in as the airlocked closed behind him.

"Have any way to track your Lab?"

''Actually, no," Plague Knight admitted to X. "I usually just managed to find on my own as I traverse the city, though today it would make that option rather......cumbersome."

"That will be a problem," X noted sitting down at pilot's seat, "If anything it might have become a planetoid today, or a station."

With a start the shuttle was activated and pulled closer to Wander and Sylvia, "We'll keep a eye out for your lab while we look out for the newest arrivals... and perhaps whatever the challenge of the day might be."

Balcony

There was likely no reason for these two to lie, but Lothric did not appear too happy with the news.

To be unable to die seemed a boon at first, but what would happened if he died separately of Lorian or vice versa? He would be able to manage on his own - or with some minor help - but his brother would let his instincts of survival talk instead, having no guidance of his.

To leave the glass dome they had to put on smaller glass helmets hidden over there? No doubt some magic was involved, but the situation was quite magical indeed. Pulled from their realm into one where other such prisoners gathered? What kind of world were the two men from if they talked so lightly?

Finally, the library where all answers would be revealed. He could not notice the paralell between this place and the archives that their "honored" Father perused for power and went mad as a result. It would be good to venture there as well.

But for now he was willing to entertain the other two. "What gossip do you speak of, Sir?" It was probably good to know of any particularly important people beforehand.

we're trying to open the rear airlock. can you guys let me in? also, is that eve??

John was glad they noticed him, but he couldn't help but wonder why Eve was in the shuttle. He was confused, but still headed toward the shuttle. When he reached the cockpit window, he waved.

Cole just stared down at Rachel's hand as she tried to staunch the bleeding, from apparent wounds that were in him. Shouldn't they hurt? It didn't feel like hurt, it just felt hot and tight and wet, burning brighter and brighter every second but not what he would call pain...his head hurt, but this didn't.

"I don't understand..." he said in a soft voice, reaching down to pat lightly at the bloodied paper towels. Rachel would be able to see a faint green flash in his eyes before it vanished quickly as Cole whimpered softly. "What happened? ...I can't hear anything...is everyone gone? Where is Sans? I can't...it hurts..."

The Judge - Space Van - (insert metaphorical excerpt of a poem or other piece of literature vaguely correspondent to the current situation here)

The Judge had already let go of the robot quite a while ago and was wandering around while he waited for the go to take off his helmet. Once he saw the green bird person take off his without consequences, the Judge (with some difficulty) pryed off his own and took a deep breath.

"Ah, finally free from the confinements of the very thing that gave me life! Such irony!" He made his way towards the robot and rubbed up against his leg. "I must thank you for allowing me to accompany you during our terrible experience within the darkness of the outside world. Now, I believe I have yet to properly introduce myself. I am the Judge, and I am vying to know your name, O great savior."

It was a bit much, but it got his point across.

Inside a Grocery Store, The Scoobert Gambit
Seiga was surprised at the fact that a non-lethal weapon like this could be instantly effective, and pinpoint to boot. If they ever asked to have these back, she'd make sure to conveniently lose both of theirs in the ensuing scuffle. Much, much better than that shotgun, if you can just have Yoshika kill them afterwards.

With such a thing, she'd probably be fine enough on her own, especially if she had a second gun waiting at her side. Seiga pointed out in another direction and said to the pilot, "We'll split up, and cover more ground. If we need help, we'll just call out for you. It should be very obvious who it is." She immediately drifted off in a different direction which could arbitrarily be any particular direction that the pilot and his buddies weren't heading off to, and dragged Yoshika (who was fighting the temptation to eat whatever food she saw lying around) along with her.

Upgrade managed to compose himself, then he listened as he heard the sound of gunshots. He had to act but what could he do? It was too difficult to move in zero gravity. He had to find a way to get gravity restored. He looked around for anything like air ducts that he could move through, or anything of the sort. If he could find a computer terminal he might also be able to access a floor plan of the building.

Jack smiled at the young boy. He would never stop being amazed at how brave children could be in situations like this, even though he really didn't like them being there. "It's a good thing to want to do."

Jack looked sheepishly at Rachel when she yelled in their direction, "Right, sorry."

He glanced back at Thomas and gestured in the direction of the airlocks with his head. "Come on, let's go help. Your magic is probably more helpful with his than mine would be, and you can tell me what this thing with Ben is."

Then the spirit drifted towards the nearest airlock, and set to work trying to remove whatever was blocking the airlock by shoving against it.

Taking his cue from the others, Lucas pulled off his helmet. Too his surprise, the cat had started speaking, and in an eloquent manner no less.

Lucas walked over to the cat, while putting away his baseball bat (which he was storing on the outside of his suit this whole time), and asked "What's y-your name? Mine is L-Lucas. Also, what situation were you b-brought here from?".

He mainly wanted to see if the cat might be from his universe, as a talking animal would not be out of place on the Nowhere Islands.

"I'd rather not keep venting this atmo unnecessarily. They said on the radio the front door's open now, so why don't you-" the militia man's statement to Eve was interrupted as she suddenly slapped the sangheili, snapping his head to one side for a moment; though, not as hard as Eve might've expected.

With an angry roar from in his helmet, the sangheili rushed up from his seat, one hand grabbing Eve by the neck and the other drawing his gun, which he crammed into her gut, and opened fire, ripping multiple balls of plasma through her midsection. This prompted, in turn, the ogre to punch the sangheili off to one side as hard as he could, slamming the alien into the wall next to the control panel; then before it could recover, the militia member had brought up his standard, conventional pistol and fired away onto the sangheili until its dead body disappeared.

"Son of a fucking bitch, you people and your shitty ass damn short trigger tempers!" the militia member yelled, looking to Eve to see how badly she was hurt; and if she was even still alive.

"Well, I'd guess you'd want to know about some of the major groups in the city, like ours!.. Though actually in all honesty I wouldn't call us 'major'" the first man started.

"We call ourselves Fanboys; you can tell any of us by our symbol here" the second man added in, pointing to the symbol on the front of his shirt before continuing, "see we're just trying to be peaceful and enjoy our stay here. Especially after we found out that some of those other universes are ones we know of as fictional works where we come from. The multiverse is weird, apparently."

"Then there's the militia; they're basically trying to be cops, city guard, that kind of thing. They're trying to make sure everyone stays safe and nobody goes around just like, randomly murdering people or other bad stuff like that. You can tell them by, uh..." the first man trailed off then glanced at his friend, "did they get a symbol yet?"

"Not that I've heard. But they do all have this funky amulet with runes on it; supposed to keep demons out of their heads" the second man responded, motioning his hand to the base of his neck where you'd expect to see an amulet.

"There's the anti-human group. A bunch of non humans that want to keep away and protect themselves from humans because of... Well it's a bit of a long story. I mean, I don't know if you guys are weird humans or like, some kind of giants? So maybe they would accept you. They write the word 'human' somewhere on their outfit and then cross it out" the first man continued. "There's this like, unofficial hero group that go around dealing with the biggest stuff. One of them was trying to make it a real group called the City Knights, but I haven't heard how that's been going yet, or what their symbol is" he explained onward.

"Last that we know of is these guys called Ruckus. Now thankfully they've been almost wiped out by now, but if you come across any of them be careful; they're a bunch of nutjob cultists who were following a demon and doing really bad stuff. They've got this red, eight pointed star thing, but I think now they're mostly trying to go incognito" the first man finished.

"It looks like you two might be able to handle yourselves well enough though" the second man stated, looking at Lorian and the armor and sword he was packing.

Eve| Shuttle

Eve staggered back, eyes wide. That hurt. She looked down at her midsection, looked up, breathed in and out a couple of times, and promptly collapsed.

The militia man would find that even though the wounds were bad, they were already beginning to heal, glowing a bright gold. Even so, at this rate, it would take about three days for them to heal, provided that Eve stayed in her unconsious state. If she woke up at this point, the healing process would be interuptted, and she'd probably die.

Unfortunately for Rex, he had accidentally thrown a wrench in the works. The tunnel he had digged was getting used by a Ruckus member that had just shot to death a militia member. Capturing the unnarmed guy had to wait for now. Protecting innocent people was more important that capturing another Ruckus member.

Rex went back to the section were the hole was and moved his tentacle to make it reach inside the tunnel, trying to grab whoever was inside. If he did, he would electrocute them and be done with it. For some reason, though, he felt it wasn't going to be as simple as that.

The Judge - Space Van (Possibly on its way to someone's heart) - Can't Tell If Asking for Real Name or Missed

The Judge put a paw on his forehead and closed his eyes in a bit of annoyance as the robot—er, X and the child, Lucas, asked for his name. Nonetheless, he repeated himself without hesitation. "I am often referred to as the Judge. I come from a land known as Zone 0, and am, in fact, the guardian of the area in question. Now, it would greatly please me if I was to know the places from which you two come from."

This cat was called The Judge? The judge of what, though? Either way, he asked where they came from.

Lucas answered "Y-You probably wouldn't know about it, but I'm from the Nowhere Islands. The world should be destroyed now though, so I don't know what the new one is called."

That unnecessary addition about the remaking of the world was less of an explanation for anyone listening than it was Lucas reassuring himself that his world was remade.

Space Shuttle

Wander and Sylvia made their way inside the ship too. Once they were free from their bubble, Sylvia took a second to stretch, although the presence of both her and Wander made the ship somewhat more cramped than it had been before.

"Pretty nice place!" Sylvia said appreciatively. She'd seen a lot of spacecraft in her day. Wander was more interesting in pressing all the buttons, but Sylvia casually blocked his way with her tail. "What are we all talking about?"

"Cat!" said Wander. Sylvia had to block him again, this time from dashing over and squeezing it. "Hi there, little friend! I'm Wander!"

Sophie looked down at the tablet again. The previous error message disappeared, and there was now a 'READY TO LAUNCH: FASTEN SEATBELTS' message on the bottom-right. Once the duo had complied with their seatbelts, she tapped on the ship's icon again, and the faint whirr of machinery filled the air as the mechanical arms emerged from the sides of the ship, grabbing onto the elastic band of the slingshot in front of them and pulling it into place. The ship shook slightly as it was raised into the air, its windshield aimed skyward at an angle, until it stopped, the mechanical arms now the only thing holding the ship in place.

For a moment, the lilac-haired girl stared at the sea of stars now more visible in front of them, with the giant elastic bands trembling on both sides of their windshield. Now what?...... On the tablet, the ship icon now had an arrow icon pulsing behind it. When she moved a finger to drag across the arrow, the ship icon followed suit; at the same time, their ship shuddered some more as it seemed to be pulled back some more from its initial position.

".........Ah!" Sophie spoke after a few more moments, still holding her finger on the pad. "I use this to aim this ship..." She slowly moved her finger up and down, and their view of the stars shifted accordingly. "...and let go to launch us." She moved her finger until they were at exactly a 45-degree angle from the planetoid's surface. Once Curly felt ready to take control, the lilac-haired girl lifted her finger; the two were hit with a momentary g-force as the ship rocketed away, the windshield covered by faint flickers of flame for a brief moment before they soon escaped the planetoid's atmosphere.

Their jaunt through space was mostly uneventful, though it took a while for them to find the spacefaring grocery store. The controls took a bit of time to get used to, as did the tablet in Sophie's hands that now served as the ship's navigation. While she quickly caught on to how its display worked in mapping out their current surroundings, its 2D map style made it difficult to use when gauging the three-dimensional distance of certain objects to their ship. Eventually though, the grocery store appeared on it; up on the windshield, it was still a tiny speck in the distance, surrounded by even tinier specks.

The Grocery Store, Heading Towards the Rear

"Time to *uuuuurp* go, Morty." Rick shoved the last beer bottle he could fit into his dangerously-overloaded pockets and kicked off the nearest hard surface, aiming at the back of the store. "We're *urp* we're getting the hell outta here before anything - look, let's just go, okay?"

For a 70-something year old man with questionable substance abuse habits, Rick was in his element in the weightless world of perpetual free-fall. Bouncing from shelf to shelf like an unkempt pinball, he clutched four jangling bottles of vodka under one arm, a ticking antimatter device clenched in his fist - and then there was Morty, who was currently being dragged along by his grandfather and desperately kicking air, trying to right himself so as to see what was up ahead.

"Jeez, Rick, a-are, you, you know, I dunno," Morty stammered, trying not to throw up note  "you sure about this?"

"What, Morty? I mean - what's the worst thing that could happen?" Rick rolled his eyes as he prepared to open the door to the rear. "NoUUIUUURghing, Morty, w-we-"

"...you, Rick, I-I-I didn't want... no part in this-"

"I - *urp*, look, Morty, we got in, we get out, and we *urp* got off scott free," Rick cut off Morty's protests, "so it's absolutely impossible for-"

X started the shuttle up and got it moving, "Nice to meet you... Judge," X said a welcoming smile on his face, "I come from Earth, Neo Arcadia in particular."

"And Lucas, pleasure to meet you," X said before opening a hailing channel on the shuttle comms, "Attention all shuttles, this is X on a open channel, we're on the move and looking for any new arrivals or anyone requiring assistance. You are not alone out here."

It was more to reassure X himself than anything, knowing that he was at least trying to help. "Lucas, do you have any skills or abilities?" If anything, his time here had proved to him that humans here were a lot more capable and... unique than back home.

The Judge - Space Van - Take Me To Your Leader

The Judge casually groomed himself as he answered Lucas. "No, I don't believe I've ever heard of such a place," he said, stretching. "However, we do share one thing in common; both our worlds have been destroyed. Perhaps this peculiar realm is meant to be our escape from the inevitable effacement of our universes. In fact, it may very well be the new one you had spoken of. Why a mangy old cat like me ended up in your plane of existence, I may never know, but until then..." He then turned around to X. "I assume you are able to maneuver this large vehicle. If so, I humbly ask that you transport me to your base of operations, on the assumption that you have one in the first place."

Eun (Grocery Store) - Cleanup Duty

With one of the enemies already taken care of, it was just a matter of finding and stopping the rest of them. The main difficulty lied in finding those individuals among the over three hundred other people in the area. It would probably take some time, so I had to start immediately.

My first attempt was somewhat unsuccessful. Instead of any armed individual, I found a very young girl hiding in fear, curled up and trembling inside a large floating box, not too far away from what seemed to be a magic circle of some sort, painted with what I could only assume was blood. Come to think of it, that circle was most likely related to the ritual that Ruckus had attempted to perform.

It would be such a shame if something were to happen to it, would it not?

I moved through the air until I reached the floor, and started scraping a small chunk on the outer border off with my foot. I was not planning to stay there for long, but I still kept my senses focused mostly on my surroundings, in order to avoid being caught off guard should an actual Ruckus member appear.

The girl in the box remained undisturbed for the time being.
