Seiga, The Library, I Was A Fortune Teller Once You Know
How does it feel to be right on the money? Well, Seiga certainly wasn't one who believes in "jinxing" it, because of all curses and magic phrases there was much less evidence that such a form of magic existed. Speaking of The Devil, sure, but jinxing is what little kids believe in.

However, right now Seiga's inner skeptic was screaming at her because she may have totally jinxed it.

Responding to Viola's shouted command with a firm "Of course!", Seiga grabbed her other hand and yanked her off the ground, flying down the aisles and towards any particular direction away from the monster, ignoring those few they flew past at breakneck speed. Seiga wasn't terribly worried, considering that she can't truly die, but she imagined Viola had a different viewpoint on her morality and respected it as such. Oh well, it wasn't like...

Wait, she left her irreplaceable supplies downstairs at that tea party! Son of a bitch! Seiga grimaced for her sudden, internal usage of such vile words, but now she actually had reason to worry about this monster crashing into the library. And it wasn't like Viola would let her just try and go grab them...

Yeah, no, better not ask. Seiga wanted their friendship to last longer than five minutes.

Yoshika, The Pier, THAT'S THE WALL
It took a few seconds to realize, even with the librarian's urging, that the rock lobster was heading straight for her and not stopping. Alright, it's about time the real fight started!

Yoshika hopped to her feet, discarding the last quarter of the board she hadn't eaten, and steeled herself for the great battle about to happen. This was a command from Seiga, and she knew that she was somewhere out there, cheering her on! Seiga counted on her! Knowing this only made Yoshika feel more pumped, and utterly invincible! She spaced out her feet, held her arms out and got ready to grab and throw the beast as soon as it got within her reach!

With the leviathan about to move all of its many tons of weight right into her 110 pounds of pure muscle, Yoshika shouted at it, "COME ON! I, YOSHIKA MIYAKO, AM NOT GONNA LET YOU COME ANY CLO-" Suddenly, stopped by Plague Knight, she forcefully pulled herself out of his grip with a little fraction of her strength, and said, "Come on, I can take it! Go leave if you want to!" to the bird dude.

Leviathan Battle

Trying to save Rex did nothing but give Twilight a whack to the head as Rex fell down to his demise.

Twilight felt a surge of dismay, how were they going to take this thing down?

She then noticed Eve... Who was actually ON the Leviathan!

Twilight, feeling concern, decided to help.

Thinking the Leviathan might get her if she flew, she instead opted to try and teleport next to Eve. If successful, she would then use a shield spell to try and protect Eve.

What is this "signature" of which people speak?

Fried Airlines - Rerouting to emergency stop at the Library

Caro could only stare in horror as Rex could torn apart by the humongous stone beast and then hit the surface of the water down below really hard. At least with how death worked here, that didn't leave a mangled corpse, but that really only felt like cold comfort at the moment ...

She was brought out from that state of terror by a rush of adrenaline when Lune's fire draw the creature's attention and it then clearly began to charge a massive attack. She had to act fast. She had to stay in her current spot to keep her spell up, so she would have to ditch that. She didn't think throwing what she had amasses so far in desperation would be a smart move, so for her last act with said spell, she rapidly broke the sphere down as much as she could and then dropped it.

"Hold on tight, Lune! We will have to brace for extreme evasive manuevers!" She called out, before having Fried take a really sharp turn and then rapidly ascend towards the sky. It was very much of a narrow miss, but they managed to get out of incoming large beam's path.

Then it seemed that the beast' attention had been drawn towards the library. As such, Fried then started to speed through the sky in that direction.

Once they got close enough, she noticed a spot in its upper backside that seemed to have gotten burnt and cracked. That was where she had to strike.

Since the spot was relatively close to the creature's head, where Eve seemed to hanging for dear lilfe, she decided that it was best to angle their attack somewhat diagonally, so it had less of a chance to accidently hit someone else if it missed.

Fried began to build up a sphere of flames, with her using her magic to help aim it and increase the fire's power. After a moment, he would then breath it out in the form of a large jet of flames aimed at the noticed spot.

Underwater Tunnels — Game of Chicken

Ghostfreak recovered from the surprise attack and called Rex a child that didn't know who he was messing with.

"Child? Those are fighting words"

At the sight of the alien charging at him, Rex built his motorbike and accelerated, all set on running over the alien

And then he changed direction at the last minute to avoid the ghost's attack, aiming to grab Ben's arm.

Sans didn't seem to react to any of what was happening including Zelda grabbing him and trying to carry him somewhere else.

"no... nononono... stop. please..." said Sans, not talking to Zelda but instead just still sleeptalking.

His nightmare wasn't getting any better, although whether it was because Zelda was moving him around or not, it was hard to tell. It did seem to be affecting Sans very negatively either way as his voice was getting weaker and weaker

At the last moment, when Ghostfreak thought Rex would run him over, Ghostfreak lashed a tentacle over to the unconscious Ripjaws and then turned himself and Ripjaws intangible when Rex tried to grab at him.

"I do not have time for this idiocy!" Ghostfreak hissed. "Tennyson is gravely wounded and your rough-housing is going to get him killed! I need the boy alive!" With that, Ghostfreak took a hold of Ripjaws, raising into the air with Ripjaws his arms. "Do not interfere!"

Library - holyshitisanyonerecordingthis

He got no reply on the subject of the communication bid and how it was important to his relationship drama, and so considered prying about it with the goggles-wearing teen who had been arguing with the black-clad thief from earlier.

Unfortunately said teen was busy getting out there and fighting the giant sea beast due any minute.

Looks like the internal symphony would have to go on intermission.

He watched the crowd of superpowered fighters disperse toward the fight, and was considering helping again, if only to speed things up, when the creature, a massive stone beast larger than he could have fathomed, erupted violently from the water, and Lewis found himself frozen in shock and awe, such that he instead ended up idly taking in the grandiose sight. Only Ms. Tairee's shout for everyone on that side of the library to MOVE! was enough to elicit any further reaction from him, and he made haste away from where the leviathan would surely impact.

Even as he did this, he couldn't truly take his eyes off the creature, and stumbled on a staircase, which he ascended after the bare minimum amount of deliberation. Taking a moment to determine that alas, he was still not as far away from the creature as was desirable, he continued clearing to the other side of the library, and would find himself colliding with a certain young blonde girl.

Pep-Talk Time at the Restaurant

"Okay okay okay okay, I'm calm, okay?" said Morty as the entire restaurant note  ganged up on him. At the very least, Jack seemed to understand, trying to reassure him and get him to help. Comparing this to Rick dying was....

Morty looked down at the floor and tried to shove back the tide of emotions that the death or near-death of his grandfather inevitably stirred up - even if they were in, like, some kind of multiversal safe zone the fact of the matter was that he'd seen far more death and destruction than any one hormonal fifteen-year old should ever experience... and the fact that Rick was all too mortal was a fact that Morty had brushed up against many times.

"Y-yeah. Okay." Morty took a deep breath and looked at the wounded girl on the table and vaguely tried to summon up the basics of first aid from the recesses of his memory; they'd already broken the only rule he knew and moved her body, but what other option did they really have? "W-what can I do to - I mean, is there, like, a, a, a stitches- stitches that we need to sew or, or... oh god." Morty stared at Cole, who had fallen over and was mumbling something that he couldn't make out but was probably some vaguely ominous gibberish befitting the dire situation which was only going to get dire... er.

Dire-er? Was that a word? Well, it was a word now.

The Library - Time to Bail

"hOOOOrughkay," said Rick as he scooped the requisite items off the counter, "good talking with you, see you soon, send me a postcard - look I don't know what I'm supposed to say in these kinds of situations -"Rick looked back at the ominous, rounded shape of the gigantic crustacean, advancing on the library with all the indifferent lethality one might see from a drunken trucker placed behind the wheel of the world's largest steamroller.

"-gotta run." Clutching his items to a chest like a particularly athletic Black Friday shopper, Rick bobbed and weaved around the panicking crowd fleeing to the exit. "Move!" he shouted, knowing full well that this really wouldn't have any effect o the psyches of the panic crowd, but the alcohol pushed him to do it anyway, if only to motivate the crowd and maybe get them to start fighting one another while he got the chance to escape. Rick pushed over what looked like a pile of anthropomorphic worms, vaulted over the head of a green trio of robots, who were currently transforming their bodies together into a crude watercraft, darted around a vaguely-familiar four-armed girl, who hissed at him and scuttled up the walls like a startled gecko- and pushed himself out onto the deck where he'd parked, mumbling something about mouthy ice spirits.

Not wasting another second in the frightened mass exodus, Rick stomped on the pedal and kicked the engines into overdrive, sending a massive backwash of water sloshing onto the dock outside the library as he hunched low in the seat, clenching his flask between his teeth and heading for the nearest building that didn't seem to be in the path of the robotic crustacean.

Ara Haan (Library) - Unexpected Disturbance

The librarian's warning had come at a very inopportune time. Ara had already taken off most of her clothes and miscellaneous accessories in order to put on her new equipment. In fact, the only things left were her dress and the swimming suit she had kept on from the day before. Since I was not with her at the time, I was not able to warn her that something big was approaching fast; so understandably, the sudden warning caught her completely off guard.

Fortunately, Ara was not the kind of person who needed to be told things twice... most of the time. She quickly picked up her belongings and rushed out of the way... by jumping past the railings on the floor and running through the air to the opposite side of the floor beneath the one she had been in.

"Curly!" Sophie skidded to a stop on the half-wrecked boat she was on and immediately laid down, bracing one arm on the boat's rim while she stuck her other arm out into the water as far as she could - either to try and grab the gynoid, or so the gynoid could try and grab her.

Leviathan battle - Yup, like a rock... with a jetpack

Curly was dismayed to see there was, in fact, nowhere for her go once she jumped off the mechanical monstrosity, and she cut off the booster as soon as she was clear of it's movements to conserve what little charge it still held as she plummeted toward the water, she barely had time to hear Sophie's cry or see what she was standing on.

Her actual impact was nearly non-existent as her Air Tank projected a forcefield the moment she would have touched the water that, once she was submerged, made it look like she was encased in a bubble just a couple of inches away from her skin. Unfortunately, the bubble provided little in the way of buoyancy for the robot, and even turning and trying to attract the Leviathan's attention with more weapon fire wasn't an option as it started speeding away toward the Library, but that did give her the chance to see the underside of Sophie's boat and her arm sticking into the water. Stowing her weapon in a pocket Curly activated the booster again, propelling her up to grab Sophie's arm and the side of the boat moments before it gave out.

Presumably with some help from Sophie she was able to drag herself out of the water and into what was left of the boat.

Jack nodded at the man's instructions. He was going to have to be really careful then. Usually the wind cushioned against any issues with sudden stops and the like, but if the guy said not to, well, he wasn't going to risk it. "Sure thing."

Jack looked at Braston and grinned, ignoring the already growing strain from carrying the unconscious woman. "Me? I'll be fine. I'll be there and done before anything even happens." Jack's smile dropped slightly, and his brows knitted. "Hey, the... the other day. How did- how did it go?"

And that's when Cole started shouting. Jack's head whipped around to look at spirit, surprised and confused. "What? Why? Cole, what's going on." When his fellow spirit started panicking, and then his eyes started glowing, he wasn't sure what to do. Glancing back out the door, he noticed that the Leviathan had changed direction and was moving rapidly towards something in the distance. Jack's stomach dropped, as he started to have a good idea of what Cole was talking about. "No, no, no. Not now! Why now!"

Grinding his teeth, the spirit looked down at the woman in his arms, and then at the man who had been tending to her. His was voice grave when he spoke. "How long does she have?"

Gon did follow Rick's advice to grab onto something. He didn't remember what he grabbed. But he knew that it was hard enough that he wouldn't be able to fall or trip in case something happened while the submarine was still moving.

Rick was right that he felt the ringing sensation. It did hurt a bit, but he tried to not think about it so that it can go away gradually.

He waited for Rick to do his thing while checked the ammo of his shotgun. He didn't have enough.

Lune nodded to Caro before causing her Hyper Beam Blaster to vanish. She held onto Fried as best as she could while he evaded the gigantic beam heading their way. Man, that was a real close one!

After wounding John, the creature made a beeline towards the library. Shit! There was bound to be plenty of helpless inside of the library. It was do or die time!

Fried fired off a burst of flames towards a crack on the creature's back, which was caused by Plague Knight's potion bomb thingy. Lune smirked and followed suit by charging up a Cross Smasher and firing the beams at the weak spot.

The man Jack asked frowned and fidgeted his hands a bit. "I don't know, I... Look, I'm not exactly a med grad, but like the other guy said I'm surprised she's even still alive right now" the man answered him.

Nails meanwhile eased up when Morty stood down. This was replaced by a bit of confusion and panic as Cole started freaking out, and he glanced over at the distressed spirit. "H-hey now dude, calm down. I know it's bad right now but I'm sure it'll-" Nails paused as he glanced out the windows that looked towards the leviathan, and his eyes widened. "COVER!" the militia man then shouted, grabbing Morty and wheeling the teen around to put himself between Morty and the windows; the man Jack had just been speaking to managed to instinctively react to that one instruction in a moment of adrenaline, and moved himself closer to Jack and Kelsey, particularly to Kelsey.

Then the sound hit, the shock wave traveling marginally slower than the visible light coming ahead of it that Nails had seen, a massive, cracking, thunderous sound like a volcano going off- no, more like a volcano exploding, mitigated only by the distance between themselves and the event. The windows shattered and bits of glass flew through the room, and the entire boardwalk heaved as the water it floated on bobbed in the sudden wake. Thankfully there didn't seem to be any grievous injuries during the process. Once everything was calm save for the building still gently going up and down, Nails let go of Morty and started cringing from the back full of glass shards he'd just taken. "Ow, ow! Oh I'm gonna be feeling that later" Nails said to himself.

The man who helped shield Kelsey took a moment to brush himself off, thankfully fairly unscathed. "What was that?" the man asked, turning around and looking out the windows.

What that was, leviathan fight, library

Eve managed to hook herself onto the leviathan by the cracks she'd just made in its stony hide, and did not get swept away as it charged towards the library. Leaving everyone else behind, the leviathan continued its charge right at the library, where thankfully everyone was dutifully getting away from it... Everyone that was, except the little undead girl.

"NO!" Miss Tairee yelled, but there was nothing to be done. The moment Yoshika had finished yelling at the fleeing Plague Knight, the leviathan had punctuated its charge by swinging one of its larger claws forward at the library, said claw being far more than large enough to demolish the whole building several times over. Aside from part of the dock, the first thing hit was the little undead girl. Yoshika, or more accurately what remained of her, went through the first story wall with the leviathan's claw and was sent hurtling across the lobby, vanishing just before it could hit the other side.

The claw meanwhile, had stopped short just inside, where Miss Tairee was. She had stuck out one arm, and much like with a certain space marine earlier in the day, caught the offending article and didn't get budged one atom. The momentum of the leviathan still wanted to go somewhere though; as such even though Miss Tairee didn't move, the claw still made its way forward as her arm bored a hole into the stone, down to her elbow. The rest of the leviathan outside had suddenly reared upwards, like a car slamming into a solid wall; as its claw angled upward, which acted as a part of that boring process with Miss Tairee's arm, it subsequently busted into all four of the upper floors, proving why Miss Tairee's warning even to those in the upper floors was needed. But on a whole, the damage to the library was pretty minimal.

With the leviathan suddenly stopping, this provided Caro and Lune an excellent opportunity to concentrate their fire on the cracked point that Plague Knight's bomb had made. This added damage started to work its way down into the stone, making a small crater in the leviathan's back; it was still like the stab mark of a needle or a tack compared to the leviathan at large, but it was a start. This brief stop also gave Twilight Sparkle the opportunity to get to Eve and shield the both of them.

Back inside the library, Miss Tairee looked furious. "YA' SON OF A BI-" her fury was however interrupted when the leviathan charged its beam and fired it right into her, making the librarian the center point of an explosion that took out a chunk of the lobby and the second floor above it. Finally the leviathan's claw became unstuck and fell downwards and started to move forward again, plowing through a little more of the library. And then the claw suddenly, well, the only adequate word for it was 'explode'. But it wasn't like a fiery explosion created by a bomb; instead the entire claw shattered into billions upon trillions of pieces, which all went flying out and away from the library like they'd been shot out of the universe's largest blunderbuss. Up near the front end at the tip, these pieces were so small it was basically reduced to a fine powder, but by the back of the claw the pieces had marginally gotten bigger until the largest were about the size of decent sheds.

The sound of this was, to understate it, intense. The rumble and crack of all that stone breaking apart and grinding other pieces was amplified by who knows how many of those pieces breaking the sound barrier several times over all together; everybody in the library and those close by would find themselves temporarily deafened as a massive shock wave erupted from this event. Books were flung off the shelves and pages tearing from their covers scattered everywhere. On the leviathan's back, Twilight's shield proved essential as Eve would've found herself in a sudden barrage of various pieces of rock otherwise.

Of course the momentum of this event didn't just stop in the leviathan's claw, but rather its right arm flung backwards with such force that it clearly dislocated and broke as it dragged the entire leviathan back and through the air away from the water in a horizontal cartwheel; though Eve had been able to hold on during the leviathan's charge, this time was too much and she got flung off, along with Twilight Sparkle.

Underneath the library, through the hole made in one side of the lobby, Miss Tairee attempted swim up to the surface, but was just submerged right away as the water rocked with great turbulence from the event. Then there was the glow of her holographic screen, and after a few moments she vanished from the water and reappeared at her desks in a blur. She was still completely drenched, which had made her shirt almost completely transparent; though thankfully for at least some modesty's sake, her black bra beneath that did not have the same issue with water, and remained entirely opaque. She opened her mouth and coughed out some water, then looked out the gaping breach on one side of the library and widened her eyes just a tad as she noted the tons and tons of building-endangering chunks of stone still arcing through the sky. She quickly moved to her computer and started typing. After a bit, every chunk of stone from the leviathan's claw bigger than the head of a pencil suddenly stopped their descent as a transparent bubble formed around each. These bubbles then suddenly contracted and twisted for a few good seconds, then vanished, letting the dust from the pieces they'd just ground up drift down and get caught in the wind.

As all this dark dust started to coalesce with itself and the paper clouds, the leviathan had managed to finally regain control of its flight and lowered down to just above the surface of the water again, looking around as if assessing the situation. Now it was out near the balconies, halfway around the sphere of water from the library's position.

Where the leviathan had been

The deafening shock wave hit the boat Sophie was on, thankfully right after she'd gotten her grip on Curly's arm, but nevertheless sent the boat careening and bobbing as the water turned turbulent. Somewhere just down beneath them was John Egbert, now in the water where he had ended up after being hit by the leviathan's tail.

Area around Library-Battle over for now.

As the battle raged on, Twilight and Eve were flung from the Leviathan.

Twilight's first instinct in response was to adjust herself in midair and get flying. And her second instinct was to fly near and use her levitation magic to try and catch Eve.

Library - whoa there

The sound of the explosion was more than enough to make Sans bolt awake even as Zelda was carrying him. Sans seemed alarmed, to say the very least, but not only due to the explosion.

"w-what happened...?" he said, his breathing being heavy, in most part due to his nightmare that had left him quite on edge and he still didn't seem to fully register what was going on around him.

Fried Airlines - Intense turbulence ahead

Fried's fire combined with Lune's attack seemed to have dealt significant damage to the weak spot, as it had now caved into a small crater.

However, they didn't get the chance to take advantage of that fact, as the giant enemy continued to charge towards the library and crashed into it, causing much wreckage. However, suddenly, the arm it had raised to further attack the building suddenly shattered in a huge explosion.

Since something like that would almost certainly caused a huge shockwave rippling through the air, Caro lost no time in casting a large barrier around the three of them. She just hoped it would suffice to at least absorb some of the impact.

Cole had seemed too distracted by whatever he was seeing through his powers to be aware of what was coming, but once the sound and force of the shockwave hit, he was grabbing at his hat, curling into a ball and tucking his knees up, shielding himself as much as possible from the broken glass and debris that sprayed through the room. Once things had settled, he finally raised his head, blinking a bit, shaking some glass off his wrapped hands and examining himself for injuries before getting up, hurrying over to the others, abruptly seeming much more calm.

"The library is not safe right now. You..." He looked to Nails. "You said the others in the militia are below this place, yes? We will be as safe among them as we are anywhere, and perhaps you have better access to something to treat wounds...you're hurt as well as this woman. We need to go try to find help where we can. Everywhere is going to carry just as much risk as anywhere else."

He looked somewhat grim as he said this, glancing out through the broken windows, but wasn't freaking out any further, seeming as though he'd made up his mind on what to do.

Underwater Tunnels — Time for a kick

When Rex approached Ripjaws, he simply phased through him . The sensation of touching ectoplasm (or whatever the hell that was) made Rex feel unnerved. It felt cold and immaterial.

"I'm never going to get used to that"

The ghost-alien brought up a good point about Ben's current state. He had seen better days and Rex wasn't handling the situation like a professional.

"No offense, but you don't look like a nurse to me"

As he said that, Ghostfreak went up in the air while carrying Ripjaws.

"Oh, no. You are not going to escape from me again"

Seeing how figthing a ghost wasn't covered by either his experience nor his training, Rex decided to try and wake up Ben. The kid was bound to know how to beat the ghost, right?

"I need you to wake up, Ben! I can't fight that thing if I can't touch it"

Viola I Library I An Unexpected Encounter

Fortunately for me, Seiga complied and raised me up with her as she flew away from the ensuing carnage.

Unfortunately for me, even as I flew up with her, someone had somehow stumbled himself into me, causing me to lose grip with Seiga as I fell to the floor with him. Worse still, before I could regain my bearings again, a truly deafening sound had emanated throughout everywhere as even the library itself began to shook about from this.

I had to do all I can to cover up my ears from the ensuing sound on the floor. The sensation was, to put it lightly, very uncomfortable. In fact, I was very certain that I'd become deaf throughout it all, to cope with it. But it was only temporary. When the worst had come to past and my sense of hearing returned, I struggled to stood up from myself(the aftereffects from the beast's attack still lingers but I managed) and dusted my dress off of dust and small debris.

Now then, to deal with this unexpected and unwanted visitor.

"Sir," I asked, looking at the rather well-dressed skeleton man, with a fire encapsulating his skull. I found him intriguing and might even be willing to forgive him, if I wasn't so used to the sight of other similarly quirky characters around me. Alas. "Do you have any idea how rude it is to stumble upon a young lady as she's running for her life. Were you not watching where you're going?"

Ghostfreak stopped rising as Rex tried to call out to Ben in order to wake him up. "Your efforts are wasted, Rex," Ghostfreak responded, a bit of a smug tone creeping into his words. "The creature in the ocean hit him with great force. He is going to be unconscious for a long— ARGGH!!" Ghostfreak suddenly snarled in pain as he felt a piercing in one of the arms carrying him.

Ripjaws looked up at Ghostfreak weakly, now conscious but barely, his fishlike teeth plunged into one of Ghostfreak's arms. "You taste as.... ugly as you look.... boneface," Ripjaws weakly quipped. Ghostfreak responded by attempting to drop Ben, Ripjaws still holding on by his teeth as Ghostfreak shook him. Finally Ghostfreak managed to shake Ripjaws off his arm, and Ripjaws turned tangible. As soon as he touched the ground, the Omnitrix flashed red and flooded the room with red light, as Ben lay on the ground, barely conscious.

Ghostfreak glared at Rex, and then down at Ben, turning tangible once more. "I cannot risk possessing Tennyson in this state," he pointed out. "But if I kill him now, he will respawn, I can track him down and properly get my revenge!" With that final statement, Ghostfreak moved towards Ben dangerously, and lashed one of his claws towards Ben with the intent to kill.

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.

Seiga, The Library, Cover Your Ears
Presumably, it would be easier to evacuate buildings if you weren't running into people face first, a fact that Viola was probably more familiar with than Seiga right now. As she was taken out of her grip by something, she turned around and shouted "____!"

A great crash managed to stop her from letting anyone hear that, and she covered her ears in pain. Afterwards, trying to get a good look at what had hit Viola, she shouted "____ ___ ____ ___ ___?"

And wouldn't you know it, she was deaf. This was a pretty new sensation, with the ringing in her ears and now numb they felt now, but it wasn't a novelty that Seiga was particularly enjoying. Surely, it was temporary, right?

She landed next to Viola and helped her up, absentmindedly brushing some debris off her shoulder as she counted to herself. It wasn't until she reached "14!" that she could hear herself shouting. Now looking over the living obstacle as Viola harangued him, Seiga wasn't sure what it was she was looking at. It essentially resembled a skeleton, with pink...something, and an external heart? The dwarf skeleton she had seen while evacuating was pretty obviously a skeleton, but this one was much more different. It had the features of a skeleton, a fire elemental, and a satori!

Seiga remembered that there was something more important than the oddness before her: the giant monster! She looked to the giant hole it created...and saw absolutely nothing. Could that giant crash been it's death? She shook her head to rid herself of the solid aching, and said to their unwelcomed guest, "WHAT ARE YOU?!" Unfortunately, she was still a little deaf, and this came out much louder and excited sounding than she realized.

Yoshika, A Certain Portion Of The Tunnels, Close Your Eyes
In that very, very brief period before death, Yoshika wondered if punching the claw as it tried to hit her would reflect the damage back.

Needless to say, she didn't get to test this out.

A short while later, the same jiangshi felt water dripping on her face as she stared into the ceiling, trying to recognize how she was in a library one moment and in those tunnels from earlier right now. Eventually, she gave up with this line of inquiry, presumably the leviathan had teleported away, and assumed her next question: Where is here?

Sitting up, her answer was pretty clear. She was sitting a short distance away from the exterior of a building, with giant neon letters on the outside marking it as a CINEMA. Of course, she did not recognize this building at all, her memories from back then limited entirely to watching the movie and that kind goat-man who opened the door for her. A few people were milling about, and they were...a little more strange than the last time she saw them. Only a couple of them were human, but all of them were in strange outfits that looked off to her. One was a heavyset man, lacking any facial features and a slick sheen to his skin, wearing something she recognized as a school uniform.

With how often Seiga had disguised her as an ordinary, non-cannibalistic school girl, Yoshika totally remembered what that was...and wondered why a man would be wearing it. No, Yoshika, Focus! She had a mission to either confirm the success of or finish! Seiga only expected the best of her, so she should get right to that!

Without further ado, she took the solidest route to completing this mission she could: walking inside and asking for directions. Considering that last time it took a 20 minute submarine ride to escape, she might as well ask for help. Yoshika got up, brushed some of the dampness off of her clothing, and inadvertently walked straight into the least helpful place in existence: a fan convention.

Leviathan Battle - Spirit of the Storm

John recovered and opened his eyes, albeit lingering with the taste of blood in his mouth, and every cough spewing some of it out and into the waters, dissipating like a can of TaB opened in a body of water. Still, he wasn't going to give up just yet. Lurching in pain, he flied over to where the Leviathan was; By the balconies, including the same one he first appeared in.

Putting his hand over his torso, he turned into an air current in the waters. Anyone who might have passed by Windy John might have smelled a mixture of slight dirt and blood. As he floated as a single stream of breath, John's mind wandered. Where was Karkat? Was Miss Tairee okay? He pondered all this as he reappeared behind the behemoth of a stone lobster, before seeing the library in ruins.

Debris was scattered. The library was damaged.

Suddenly, John had another motive, as he let out a single, breath-curdling scream and swung the Fear No Anvil at the Leviathan.

Underwater Tunnels — You are lucky Tairee isn't here

The ghost simply gloated about Rex's inability to help Rex remarking that the Leviathan had done a number on him. As if wanting to contradict him, Ripjaws answered by biting his arm.

The fish-man was violently shook from the ghost's grip and then turned back into a human. Ghostfreak changed from trying to protect Ben to killing him, noting that the respawn system would heal him and send him somewhere else. At least that made things simpler. Just turn that skull into baking soda and be done with it. Easier said than done, of course.

Rex jumped into the way of Ghostfreak's attack and stopped him with a well-placed metallic boot.

"How about fighting someone without a time limit, for a change?"
