CoLC crossover RP, discussion

Posting on phone during work, shift is slow and about to end soon.

@Light To All: Sora going into an alley, calling Ben, then getting to the library before Ghostfreak and talking to Miss Tairee is a bit much for him to do all in one post, is somewhat unfair to All Hail Thrall, and is borderline controlling his character since it makes the assumption that Ghostfreak is still wasting time instead of going straight to the library while Sora's on the walkie talkie.

Post edited. I felt that the amount of activity in the post was ok but I still cut the bottom half off. I would agree that it was a tad unfair to Thrall and I'm sorry to Thrall for that. As for the controlling the character comment, I did not say that Ghostfreak was off wasting time but instead I had Sora said that "no sign of Ghostfreak was here".

The Library is very busy right now and is also pretty big and thus I was of the thought that Sora could not simply see him anywhere in the Library. If I was trying to control the character, I would have specifically note that Ghostfreak was not in the Library at all or something of that order. As it stands though, this is simply something that I made that I will admit has the resemblance of character controlling. I apologize for that. Overall, I'm sorry for the mistakes and they have been fixed. Thank you and have a good day.

I'm mainly waiting for Loco to post before I post for Ghostfreak.

Here now, fully recapped. Just got done with my bath and short rest in bed after work. I need to leave in less than two hours to stop by the grocery store and get some dinner, so I might not have a post done until after that; I'll work on it in a text document in the meantime, just after I check on some things.

Also, to help streamline things, I've added the following note to the day rules:

• As an OOC note, when your character tells Miss Tairee who they wish to contact, you must inform me in some fashion exactly where that character currently is and what they're doing, either by just adding it in your post in a narrative sense or telling me via PM or such.

I'll be joining back in again soon. Back to Mega Man X!

Just been busy fixing up my life what with my new job, school, but with a pleasant event in that a good friend has come to visit.

I think Calvin and Rick are going to have a lot in common. Both creative geniuses? Check. Both have more grounded companions to keep them in line? Check. Crazy spiky hair? Check. .

And here I was hoping Ben and Calvin would be able to interact more heh

I know my post doesn't have anything in response to Curly; I'll either edit that in or make a new post for that later, since I'm about to hang out with a friend and Blitz Train is currently asleep anyway.

EDIT: Alright, response post for stuff up, and now I'm going to head out for the night; I've just gotta see about posting somewhere else since I said I would tonight, then I've gotta head to bed.

@wikkit: Those effects on Yoshika are either until further notice or until the start of the next in-game day.

Anyway, tomorrow is an evening shift and I'm not likely to be on before work, so I don't expect to be posting until after it; I would expect no more than three hours later than when I got on today.

Woke up early, posting on phone but then going back to bed. @Oceanstuck: You guys weren't sort of racing another character there, and you were already a bit behind on the events of the day due to slow posting. So unlike the situation with Sora before, you could go ahead and get there.

Nah it's okay, I've actually just come up with a better idea of what Garrett should do after entering the library, so it's a good thing Oceanstuck convinced me to edit my post

Also I think they both have some serious destructive urges and unresolved issues, if that one comic where Calvin fantasizes about becoming God and torturing people is anything to go by...

@Nman: Actually the pamphlets don't mention anything about the notable locations or NPC groups. I guess I could maybe stand to add a little clarification about that to the first discussion post.

@Fantasy Liver: The Transmogrifier was approved as the cardboard box, not the gun, remember?

No worries about skipping out on the post for Curly while I was sleeping, Firock. I rarely manage to be up and ready for work with enough time to spare to be creative enough to write (well, write more than something like my minuscule post before bed) so it didn't slow me down any.

And speaking of, I gotta sleep again.

Alright, just a short post so pillowmantis and Korodzik won't be waiting on me as much, and I'm gonna get going for tonight. Tomorrow I have the day off, though there's something I need to get done so I won't be sleeping in. I should definitely be on much earlier than I was tonight, but I can't be certain how much earlier since it depends on how long that trip takes; but even the latest I'd expect is still like four hours earlier than I got on today.

You're right. I'll go back and edit it - I don't know why I was thinking gun for a second.

Here now, fully recapped. Going to check on some things and then see about trying to work on a post; feeling a little writer's blocked at the moment so it might be a while.

And school is officially over for me! Well, not officially as in the school said so, but I've got no classes anymore so I don't have to worry about free time being used up. And with my first draft of my novel almost done (250+ pages and two chapters to go!), I'm now pretty confident I can at least keep up with the RP.

Now I just gotta decide whether I wanna jump in the day as Grimlock (and whether to make him look like a deer or something more original...)...or join as an Evangelion character just to shut up my recent obsession over it because I can't get it out of my head (and so that I don't have to worry too much about posting everyday like for combat scenes 'cause I don't think I can do that yet with our internet).
