CoLC crossover RP, discussion

@Alleydodger: I should think about adding something about this to the first post of discussion I suppose. It got explained by Miss Tairee earlier in the RP.

As far as this RP is concerned, there is a property of the multiverse that she calls the "multiversal bleeding effect". It takes various forms, but the short version is that sometimes stuff from one universe will be in another universe- as a work of fiction. The reasons vary, sometimes the order of cause and effect is one way and sometimes the other way, and other times it can be purely coincidental.

Now Jack Frost specifically recognizing Transformers though? I mean, his universe probably does have Transformers or something really similar, but he died and became Jack Frost long before the time they would be around. And I never got the impression that he'd ever sit around and watch television; not when he could be playing around outside in the snow instead. At best I'd guess he's probably seen kids take their Transformers/not!Transformers toys outside to play with them in the snow.

And this will be my last discussion post for tonight. Ciao for now folks. I've got tomorrow off so will be sleeping in somewhat, and might be doing something with my dad shortly after I'm awake, but even if I do I should still be on much earlier than I was tonight.

Makes me want to try an impression of my own character. My voice is too shaky to voice-act well, but maybe...

I just hate my voice in general.

@Grimlock: I didn't trace that in Paint. I brought a picture into Paint.NET, then print-screened the line art and brought THAT into MS Paint to color. I find coloring in Paint.NET to be a pain in the rear end. Also, I'm sure that Ben's base form would look fairly different considering he's younger. The main reason that the dino form looks the same aside from color is, well, as I said, I am not drawing something that complex from scratch. I really hate drawing complex machinery.

@Sadness tank: This reminds me of an old joke. Two goldfish are in a tank. One says to the other, do you know how to drive this thing?

@Rick and Morty voice: I'm fairly good at impressions, though my vocal range is a tad limited so I can't really do very high-pitched characters all that well. Still, that's awesome!

Also, thinking about what Shoutmon said, I caved and tried to draw a more "scratch" version of Ben's Dinobot form. Here◊.

Juvenile Tyrannosaurus are more gracile than adults (to the extent there's an ongoing debate on whether these fossils are either juvenile T. rex or an entirely new species), so I made Ben's Dinobot form thinner and more lightly-built.

It also looks a lot cruddier drawing-wise, so yeah... >_>

@Locoman: Bravo, man. You said you were good at impersonating Rick (although your Morty wasn't half bad) and you were right. It's a shame none of this is canon.

Both of them need work to be really spot on, though.

Maybe I'll do the one with Pinocchio when my throat's a little stronger (Rick's voice hurts after a while).

They need work (obviously) but damn, I wish I could make impressions like that.

Here now, fully recapped. Gonna start working on a post; should have it up pretty soon. I think I'll go out to dinner later tonight; just gotta decide where which will affect when based on how late said place is open.

@Voices: Well I'm a guy and I can't make my voice go too high so pretty much all the Female NPCs are out, let alone Miss Tairee. Brother Marcus would require a voice filter. I could try other Male NPCs, though while I have a mic I wouldn't really have anywhere to put said recordings. Maybe next time I'm streaming a game (who knows when that will be) I'll try some impressions.

Speaking of streaming I still want to do a No Saves run of Undertale in the Pacifist run, which would mean beating the game twice in one sitting.

Alternatively, there's a Hardcore Version: Try a No Save/No Food Heal Pacifist Run. Or if you're just plain masochistic(and no longer feel guilt), try a No Save Genocide Run(have fun grinding your way through all over again)

No Save Genocide is easy though, I can already beat Sans without healing so only thing I would need to do is learn how to beat Undyne.

I've already done a Default Equipment/No Healing run just because of what Sans says at the end of such a run on the Neutral Ending

I even have a video up of me beating Asgore with no damage.

The only thing preventing me from streaming is the lack of a working mic.

For me, it's work, volunteer hours, and very nearly a two-week trip out to Minnesota. We got my dad to change his mind on that, though, thankfully, since none of us wanted to go for that long.

Also take me to your summer reading camp

@ Summer plans: spend time at my cottage, graduate from university, desperately try to find a meaningful career with six years of school under my belt, confront the terrifying void of emptiness at the core of my life, light snacks.

You know, after watching Rise of the Guardians several times to try and get Jack down and make sure I didn't miss anything, I've come to think that Pitch Black could make a pretty good villain of the day/boss.

It could work kinda like a zombie invasion style day. The day would be 'night' the whole time, and Pitch would start in one area and slowly spread out, generating fear to strengthen himself using his Nightmares, and possibly corrupting children into Fearlings as well. The characters would have to not only combat the Nightmares and Fearlings, but also try and limit and fight the panic and fear to weaken Pitch enough to defeat. It'd also give people who didn't want to fight something to do.

Just a small idea that came to mind.

I really want to watch RotG but I never got around to it, haha. Now it's spoiled, but Jack interests me more than ever...

We should just take a day to trek over to CyTube and have a movie-watching roleplay party. Rise of the Guardians, Inside Out, the Ben 10/Generator Rex crossover...

RIP in pepperino Pro Trash's free time.

I'm feeling pretty lucky this week given the low number of work hours and little else to be doing with my time other than what I choose.

Speaking of what I choose though, I'm going to head out for dinner now. I'll be back in ~2 hours I think.
