So, according to Hitomi Harada (Momoka's VA and singer of the OP) just like the ED is Mirei and Mamori singing about their love. Overdrive is Momoka singing about Mirei.

Ah rather violent. Very romantic.

In this weeks episode we get some backstory on Kasumi, we find out what Phase 2 of Mamoka's plan is, we get a little more information on Mirei's condition (no much though), and Mamori shows more character development. Also, episode ends on another cliff hanger.

Mamori just keeps getting more awesome with each episode. For someone that's an Actual Pacifist, she sure knows her way around a battlefield! That stunt she used to rescue Hibiki was truly inspired. Mirei is damn lucky to have her.

At this rate, she has no choice but to say thanks for the Mamoris.

I see what you did there. And Charlotte has officially made herself known as truly malicious. Remember, Ange and the others were doing that to Hibiky by Charlotte's orders. They may have been doing it happily, but Charlotte still told them to do it.

You know, I really hoped that after Episode 9, Charlotte would stop being the biggest bitch in the island after seeing what Momoka did. But nope! She and her posse became even worse! I hate her. And not in a Love to Hate kind of way. As in "She and her posse need to die" kind of way.

I really got the impression that Momoka has some sort of mind control ability. I think Charlotte is mostly a puppet at this point

Theres no doubt that Momoka is defantly using some manipulation on Charlotte, Hylarn but I dont she has any mind control. Charlootee is a ruthless bitch that hasnt shown any sympathy or remose and is a girl who crushed a girl's hand for simply losing a fight; and one who ordered one of her lakey's to whip her own pair of squadmates multipe times when they were naked simply because they werent able to prevent someone from escaping. It's not like she needs any enocuraging for her actions, Momoka is simply the one suggesting them.

Anyone it was nice to see more of Kasumi's and Hibikis story, adn especially nice to see Kasumi with longer hair. Plus I always love when we get to see just how strong and great Mamori really is. <333

Watching both episodes, I cannot see how Momoka would have some mind control abilities. And even if she did, who is saying she needs to use them on Charlotte? She is definitely manipulating Charlotte, but the way she does it is in lines of provoking her and then letting her carry the rest. For example, Momoka needs to gather everyone in Mermaid to easily find out who was the one who activated the Valkyrie Effect. Charlotte, on other hand, most likely would force everyone outside the castle to return or else. All what Momoka needed to do is to get her in a position where Charlotte would actually execute such plan.

I feel like at this point, the only way for Charlotte to get an attitude switch is for A) Mamori declare her unneeded now or B) Mamori declare the entire island unneeded, thinking that Mermaid and its inhabitants are better off destroyed.

Finally could watch the latest episode.

Great stuff.

Charlotte is being her usual bitch self but is pretty obvious she's way, way out of her depth (in fact I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of her actions are just a coping mechanism to make her feel in control), still, I really enjoyed seeing the Adel fawning all over Charlotte. That Ange tho, Charlotte should end with her, girl's a keeper.

Momoka is delightfully evil but I can't wait for her to get her dues. Is pretty sad to see Akira crumbling down over her failure but well, she kind of brought it over herself. She shouldn't rely so much on mutual trust on her speeches, any proof of her lies would've brought everything down over her.

Kasumi is such a great character if somewhat dumb by following the norms no matter what, she could've avoided a lot of stuff by acting earlier. Hibiki's story is quite unnerving and shows Mermaid was quite the hell before Akira got the situation under control.

Mamori was the star of the episode in my opinion, she put aside her surprise and possible sadness over Akira's reveal just to give Mirei her full support, finally reciprocating Mirei's devotion for her. I can't wait to see how their meeting with Momoka goes.

As I said, a great chapter, the only downside is that we're only just two episodes from the ending and well, I don't want this series to end ;_;

First anime special is out. While is not more graphic than the regular episodes is pretty damn lewd.

Short (2.5 minutes) but wow. Is a role reversal between Mamori and Mirei.

Oh my god. This episode totally blew my mind.

Kudos to the writing staff that even with Momoka becoming an horrible monster by her actions on Mamori still manages to cause pity on the audience due how awful is her story. I really hope she can be redeemed somehow and join the good guys.

Mirei’s backstory was incredible and it was refreshing that it was mere coincidence she met Mamori when she did, it gives her pure love for Tokonome a whole new meaning. Also, is clear that both Momoka and Mirei have a type: Mirei can’t resist short girls with braids while Momoka is smitten for tall, tanned blondes.

Oddly enough, Mamori seems the most developed character so far. Poor girl just can’t catch a break, either she gets a pretty sudden awakening to her lesbianism or she becomes the toy of nearly everyone she came across. The little black crying cat pin at the end was simply too much. She deserves a happy ending as much as Mirei and Momoka do.

Charlotte was also redeemed due her undeniable love for Ange (and in minor scale, for the remaining Adel) and makes really sad that she was turned into a mere pawn. Hopefully she also gets a happy end.

Lady Lady and Meifomg were freaking awesome so I’m waiting for Kasumi, Hibiki, Akira and Torino to have their turn on the final episode. Truly this show is the revelation of the season.

It has to have a second season, right? ;_;

I will be pissed if Momoka is redeemed in anyway after this episode. Raping someone is one of those Moral Events Horizons a character really shouldn't be allowed escape, and I fear Momoka will become a Karma Houdini if she does.

Good episode however. Seeing Mirei and Momoka's backstory is full was well paced by the show and Charlotte getting her ass kicked by Lady Lady's Fusion Dance was excellent.

I keep seeing on other online sights that Mamori voluntarily allowed the drive when Mirei showed up. I'm no so sure I believe that but is anyone else of the opinion that she was under mind control for the second drive?

I think is obvious that Momoka mindbroke/brainwashed her. That's why the drive was black instead of the usual pink and the hairpin was black with a tear

The massive ammounts of vitriol a huge part of the fanbase throw at Mamori is nearly as entertaining as the show itself.

What is it now? I'm curious.
