Oh there's Yuzuha and she has the right tail for it, but if I recall she was very little in the anime.
She wasn't in the game much either, but she's still the only one who had a kid. Plus she couldn't really raise her kid herself.
Really, though, Oboro probably should have been the one to raise her. I hope that's addressed.

He probably did, it's just that the whole harem also helped and having him is significantly less fan-servicey than Touka and Karura appearing.
Oh no, more of the blue haired terrible VA girl. And how the hell can this world support a damned doujin industry? They barely have goddamned blacksmiths and they didn't know about fertilizer or crop rotation prior to about twenty years ago. Though I guess Heian period Japan had a lot of writers... but that stuff wouldn't have been available to commoners.
I hope the story actually gets moving soon.
Well, plot's getting started up it seems. And another human, apparently. Probably the emperor or something.

Wait, Tusukuru is referred to as a southern island nation (original game spoilers) but I think the country spread across all of Japan by the end of the game. So, what, Yamato is actually in China? That's a little amusing.
Okay please no more fanservice. The only thing interesting here is that Aruruw stopped looking ten and now seems about sixteen.
You know, maybe I'll just watch this when the series is done. Right now it's booooriiiiing. Especially since no one else has posted here in a month.

The thing is, we're apparently going to expect FOUR MORE EPISODES of non-plot related shenanigans, according to some tweets of members of the production staff. They did promise that they're building up to something, but the target episode is episode fourteen. Let that sink in.
...Two wars had been successfully fought to a conclusion in the original anime by that point but they're still not even done with character introductions and letting us know how much the girls like yaoi?
So those two seem to be humans too. You think Haku would take notice of that.
Well, seems like we're finally getting to the plot.
Is this worth watching?
If you're familiar with the first series, maybe? Things look like they're finally starting to happen but they took forever to get to that point which was pretty annoying. It starts off really promising though.
It's not that bad. I never saw the first anime but I don't mind the slowness of this one. It helps develop the characters after all.
You mean "Starts up promising the same focus on war and intrigue as the first series up to episode 6, at which it grinds to a halt and focuses on fujoshi and BL".
Things are finally happening? Wow.
That map on the war table looks pretty strange given what the first game revealed about the setting.
I wonder, if anyone played the game, did the game also start with a lot of meaningless side quests until starting the real story in the second half? Because it would explain quite a bit, anyway I kinda wish we had more time with the generals before they'll (probably) start getting killed off as they have a pretty cool dynamic, especially the fat guy being completely ignored to an hilarious degree.
I really liked the part with Nekone shivering, kinda puts the fact that she absolutely don't know what she's going in to and she still goes through regardless.
Also, apperantly Maroro is the fat guy's son?
I think he's just his subordinate or something.
Also the story is trying to make these guys out to be the bad guys but I keep remembering how they are all starving to death and just want something to eat.
"You're our tactician!"
Right, and you've been completely ignoring his advice up till now. =.=
Yeah, the first opening made it pretty obvious but now we have the villains for the series, pretty ridiculous compared to the first installment. Though I wonder how will the conflict will play out, who will defect and what's the reason, though I guess it's connected to the princess.
Huh. This episode was actually pretty interesting. Some good worldbuilding and backstory.
You know, I don't think we've ever seen Benawi actually struggle in a fight. Even Karura got beaten once or twice, but not him.
Benawi is obviously a War God of some sort.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything. That's some damn lax security in the palace, though might make sense as who is crazy enough to invade there.
Anyway I think we'll end the series at "to be continued in the the game".
There's a third game planned, so I'm expecting an ending like Haku getting the mask, Oshutoru dying, Kuon figuring out Haku isn't her dad and the bad guy not really defeated. There's not enough time for that.
Why is Dekoponop even in this series? Did the writers love Sasante and the other fat guy so much in the first game? They were really irritating because they were impossible to take seriously.
I suppose this is the issue brought about by the anime not matching up with the game as far as the hanky-panky was concerned.
Game players know who Kuon's mom is supposed to be, but in the anime it's not so easy, especially since most people probably remember Ererew making, ahem, sure than said hanky-panky events never happened.
