Nightmare in Gotham- "Baba and Harleen bring the Girls to Gotham City to celebrate Halloween! However, the fun is put on hold when the Super Hero Girls run into Gotham's most notorious supervillain."
Hmm, finally Joker? I'd expect Scarecrow for Halloween but the show already did "What Do They Fear?" Episode.

Huh. Wasn't expecting to see this show's version of Renee Montoya. As a school cop no less.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.I saw a theory on toonzone in how "Detention Club" and "Small Victories" most likely took place on the same Saturday. In the former, Kara and Zee are the only Superhero Girls to appear in the episode (barring a brief flashback showing everyone else) while they're the only ones who are absent in the latter.
Cristina Milizia said that when she auditioned for the role of Pamela Isley, the role was described to her as Ally Sheedy's character from The Breakfast Club. I haven't seen that movie in years, but "Detention Club" helps bring the reference full circle.

The show has gotten pretty good with Hal lately. Still kind of a doof, but he's a good and loyal friend
Yeah, now I'm actually curious how they would handle a Star Sapphire episode if for once it wouldn't include the "Hal is the worst" angle.
I'm currently watching the DC Kids Fandome livestream on You Tube. There are two things of note:
1. We have a scene of the girls dressed as each other for Halloween. We also have Diana trying to tell Barbara to not be friends with Harleen Quinzel, trying to say that she's Harley Quinn, but then Harley and Joker come in .

2. We're also getting a third crossover with Teen Titans Go coming out next year. It seems like it might be in the world of the DC Superhero Girls since they mention the Tween Titans.

Here's the look at this version of the Joker:
Edit: wrong thread, sorry

Since I've already mentioned that Karen gets the least focus of all the girls... I think they really made a mistake by connecting Ted Cord to Supergirl and not her.
Come on. Guy builds himself a power suit, themed around an insect, and gives himself codename with two Bs and he's inspired by... Supergirl?
BTW, is Ted Cord a Composite Character with Reyes Beetle? He's younger, Ambiguously Brown, and has a power suit rather than a gun, with weapons built into his arms and beetle-like jetpack.
As for Jessica/Penguin episode, I have only one thing to say. If I had a nickel for each time DC Super Hero Girls had a bad guy who was a master at manipulating people but somehow didn't see it coming that a supervillainess would turn on him if she won't get paid, then I would have two nickels. Which isn't much but it's still lazy writing.

Remember that one episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold , where Star Sapphire and Carol Ferris were given two separate voice actresses (Vicki Lewis and Rachel Quaintance respectively), unlike most other appearances giving both forms the same voice actress? Well, June Moone/The Enchantress in "One Enchanted Evening" is also a case of this, with June voiced by Ashely Spillers and Enchantress voiced by Kari Wahlgren . Yes, she's voiced both the Marvel and DC version of Enchantress. Both voice actresses also replace April Stewart from the 2015 DC Superhero Girls.
So we voiced both Enchantresses, Zatanna, Charmcaster from Ben 10...I'd call Typecasting if she wasn't such a prominent voice actress that voiced dozens of Marvel and DC characters.
Now that we have Aquaman, do you think there will be an episode where they're forming Justice League? All DCEU members already showed up.
Who'll be next? Nico Minoru? Scarlet Witch? Madame Xanadu?

Wake me up at your own risk.Man, Aquaman in this show is a real CHAD (and sounds like Matthew Mc Caugnehey)

According to the Teen Titans Go crew, the upcoming crossover movie with DC Superhero Girls 2019 is produced solely by the latter with the people working on the former only giving some bare references to work with. Yes, TTG is named first, but that's just branding at this point.

That actually sounds promising. I didn't like previous crossovers but seeing other people write Titans just might make it watchable. And even if the whole crossover reduces them to bland dumb losers... no one will be able to say that it doesn't feel like actual TTG episode.
Plus, this crossover also retconned the other DCSHG/TTG crossovers.
Finally watched the episode with Aquaman. I really dig this version of him. He's fun.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself. So "Nightmare In Gotham" has Barbara and Harleen find out about each other's secret identities as Batgirl and Harley Quinn. It's expected, but the way it happens really sells this. The ending also shows how there's a chance for Harleen since she secretly deactivated the bomb that would have destroyed Gotham .
How old is this version of Joker supposed to be?
I would say he's at least closer in age to the main heroines given how the opening shows that he broke out of Arkham Reform School, and is called a student.
Huh. I think this it the only Younger and Hipper adaptation where the villain is younger than the hero. Batman's younger than usual but not that young.

Well its easier to buy this version of Harley being redeemed than certain other versions of the character....
We have a Halloween special on October 24. The October 10 episode "Cruz Control" does share its name with one of the shorts, but it's about Jessica running against The Penguin for class president.
