Maybe they were small cities no one ever heard of or even noticed that they were gone.
OK let's see.
You have compared the destruction of a city, whose real-life equivalent has over a million people, via a horrific magical disaster and war, to the destruction caused by your family feud. That doesn't make sense.
And it's still a destroyed city. Even if it's small, that's, what, a few ten thousand people? A hundred thousand? That's not going to fly under the radar, and secrecy is THE big thing that will get the Mage's Association to bring in the big guns. If this is something that has happened, even once? The Nasuverse's superpowers will come down like a hammer. And if it happens regularly then something like the Counter Force might even start getting involved. Plus, most of the magic people in the Nasuverse play the power games. If they found out there were two clans that had fighting that destroyed cities? None of them would let those clans just sit there on their own. They'd either try to amalgamate them into their own forces, or, more likely, flatout kill them all.

Exist, pursued by bearThat is a good explanation. However, I might retcon my description. Is this okay by you guys? I'm sorry for causing you frustration and grief.

Hey, no harm no foul.
I say it more as Winda projecting the rivalry between the clans onto the destruction of the city. She's not sayin that the destruction is comparable what she's saying is that war in any form is bad and that violence, no matter how big or small, should be avoided.
Think of is as bein like "The Great Circle of Bein". Conflicts in heaven are reflected upon earth but on a smaller scale.
GIVE ME YOUR FACEWell the writing certainly didn't say that
G was here - 2/9/24How does Emilia know about the Greater Grail? She's not an Einzbern, Matou/Makiri, or Tohsaka. They kept that very secret.
Exist, pursued by bearWoops. I thought Chaldea might have known.
GIVE ME YOUR FACEAccording to FGO, Chaldea only knows the broad strokes of Fuyuki's wars. The Greater Grail, not so much.
Nothing is what it seems. Master of Shipping and Sadism.Yeah, the Greater Grail was kept secret to basically everyone outside of the three families - and even then, Rin had no idea, and Zouken doesn't seem to have told Sakura, Shinji, or Kariya IIRC.
Exist, pursued by bearDang. Thanks for telling us, Aqua.
I hope Grim will be okay. :C
Ferg, basically no one in the Fuyuki Wars knew about Angra Mainyu. Your character knowing this is like him knowing, I don't know, the president's nuclear launch codes
Exist, pursued by bearAh. I thought it's the public knowledge for the Mages.
Gonna edit that out.
How do lizards fly?Public Knowledge of the Fuyuki Grail Wars
- They were in Fuyuki, Japan
- There were Servants and Masters
- It was a war for the Holy Grail, which grants wishes
- The Tohsaka, Matou, and Einzbern families came up with it
- There have been a couple of them
- The Church Mediates it
- No one's really won it yet
That's it, basically put.

G was here - 2/9/24Yeah. I think the only people who knew that the grail was corrupted would be... Hm, Kiritsugu, who took that to his grave, and Kirei and Gil who wouldn't tell anyone, and even then I doubt they knew the full history. Oh, and Bazett, who just had Angra Mainyu tell her.
Exist, pursued by bearWasn't Waver declared the winner of the fourth one?
I don't particularly recall anyone really getting a wish in the fourth one
G was here - 2/9/24No, he wasn't. His Servant died and he never got a new one. The last men standing were Kiritsugu and Kirei, and while Kiritsugu could maybe be seen as the winner since the Grail offered him his wish, I don't think that really holds up.
Exist, pursued by bearWell the Mage Association declared him the winner. But they don't know shit about what happen so that's probably why.

How the fuck was that his wish?
Well yes that's rather the point. Kiritsugu was basically in the Grail, remember? He rejected the way it wanted to grant his wish, got out, and then after that he had Saber destroy the Grail. The whole scene is here.

Exist, pursued by bearHonestly it's hard to say who really won the 4th Grail War.
Okay no, that could not happen. If it did happen both clans wouldn't be around right now. If you start destroying cities with magic literally every superpower in the Nasuverse would be on you like white on rice.
