The scene in Captain America:The Winter Soldier where Pierce finds the Asset sitting in his kitchen (apparently lying in wait)... and starts issuing him orders. That was worse than finding out the cops attacking Fury were fakes to me, because it showed that Pierce was the one who ordered him to be assassinated.
