As I understand it, finding a replacement for that was the next step.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Yeah, I guess as soon as a teaser or trailer comes up we'll change it. Dunno if we are going to pull it now, though.
Could this one◊ work as a temporal replacement for Captain America: Civil War?
This is my submission for a possible MCU franchise main pic. It's a collage of the major franchises so far. I realize, however, that Guardians gets "top" billing in the collage with Avengers, so maybe I'd have to figure out a new layout.
But anyway, this incorporates Avengers, SHIELD, Ant Man, Black Panther, Agent Carter, Daredevil (to represent the Netflix series') and Loki, just to take up space since I didn't take up quite as much room with the others in the middle.
I think when Infinity War comes, there'll surely be some artwork of all the heroes and villains along with Thanos that we could definitely use for the franchise's main page image. Until then, I put forth my collage, and it can be trimmed/edited as we get closer to Infinity War and Carol, Spidey, Stephen, and the Defenders approach. When the Defenders mini-series comes, whatever poster of the united Defenders can definitely represent the Netflix branch of the MCU.
Like I said, Guardians should probably be trimmed. But Avengers for now definitely needs to stay as one of the main images since it's, well, the Avengers. Maybe what I can do is reduce Guardians to the size of the others (and resize them too). This is just a rough draft anyway. A collage that incorporates the main franchises or a representative (like for now Daredevil will represent the Netflix branch and the Avengers pic represents the combined movies of Cap, Tony, Thor, and Hulk).
Hope the concept is okay!
That one looks pretty good.
I am not sure Guardians should get a frame at all, let alone the biggest one.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I don't see much profit in these attempts to try to picture every character or work in this franchise. For instance, we recently picked a slightly more modest example for the Pokémon page instead of trying to picture everything that showed up in 15 years running time. In the MCU's case it's enough to know that there is a group of different heroes who exist in the same verse.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I'll give this one until the end of the month, but nothing's in consensus range right now.
Ok, new plan. How about we use this one◊ for the The Avengers (2012) page?
^ That's too dependent on context to tell what's going on.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Both of these suggestions are really blurry and have focus all over the place (Iron Man more than Hulk, admittedly). to both.
Keep trying, though, you're probably on to something.

Why not just use The Avengers poster? We have that for every other movie in the MCU, why any different for Avengers?

^ Because the duplication isn't with the Film/ page, but the Awesome/ subpage.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"@rodneyAnonymous if you read my post you'd see that I agree that Guardians probably didn't need such a big picture. Emphasis on my picture being a "rough draft". But it certainly deserves a spot on there since it was one of the MCU's biggest success stories (making a damn good movie that was a surprise hit when everyone thought it was a big risk of a flop), let alone the fact Guardians is now a franchise on the scale of Thor and Cap and all. So yes, it deserves a spot in such a collage.
Also it's the biggest in the collage because I had to move it up a ton to include poor short Rocket.
Like I said, it would be a placeholder until Infinity War's inevitable artwork that depicts the scale of the MCU's plot dealing with Thanos. The placeholder would acknowledge all sides of the MCU - namely the Avengers films, the standalone films, the ABC series, and the Netflix series. So really by the time Infinity War's artwork comes around, the collage would have something to represent Avengers, Spidey, Guardians, Stephen, T'Challa, Carol, Scott, the Netflix Defenders, Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter. And we'd trim it to be as concise as possible, hence why Cap or Tony don't get their own images, but they're represented through the Avengers picture, and eventually a Defenders image will represent Jessica, Luke, etc.
I'll try to come up with a second rough draft of the collage by the end of this weekend.

I really like Chris116's collage.
I have to agree, as it's not redundant. Just replace the image of Loki with someone else. Are there any promotional images of Dr. Strange out yet?
Otherwise, I'd say just use the official logo if there actually is one for the franchise.
Just my two cents on the matter. The collage has my vote.
I love you, Krillin!! -struggling to breathe- I love you as well, honey..I added it to the crowner. Vote for it you like it. Or don't.

@Mother Of Tides as I explained in my first post, Loki's only in there to take up space in the rough draft. Here is rough draft #2 based on feedback and my own personal critique. I am gonna assume that a vote for my first collage is still a vote for something from me since this is just a reshuffling.
Obviously things will change once Carol, Jessica, Spidey, T'Challa, Stephen and the rest arrive. I could easily start another row of "slides" above the pre-existing one of Peggy, the Guardians, etc, but for now the Avengers will dominate it since they're the flagship franchise at the moment.

What about this one:
The logo is barely visible. If you're going to include it on my collage, make it visible.
At this point I'm not really sure what's going on in this thread and crowner anymore...neither option in the green is in consensus range right now. I think the most recent suggestion is actually the best overall image, but the logo is unacceptably faint.
