Common Room

Sylvia was about to offer up her rebuttal when Bond went up and left without . How rude. Well, not really. The thing had all but played its course. She had already achieved her goals. One less alliance. Universal exports kept unproductive because he was too busy dicking around with her. And between Lady and Bond, she had more then enough justification to be...proactive with the defense of Santa Destroy.

Besides, there was something he said. People like us. Spoken like a true assassin. In truth, the UAA was made up of people like the others here in Battleworld. White haired handsome men running around killing with absolute style like those guys in the DMC? They had one of those. English...ish gentlemen like Bond running into battle in a suit, relying on cunning, skill, and just a little luck? Yup. Pretty animal girls right out of a fantasy that are undoubtedly more powerful then they looked such as the cat girl, the squirrel girl, and the fox girl in the room? Well, the furry scene never really did take hold in Santa Destroy...but it did seem they even had one of those thanks to their new rank 3. Though their bunny girl seemed to lack a certain attribute these other girls had in plenty....stupid bunny, not even good for her sex appeal.

But name it, killer school girls, emotional spiky haired youths, samurai, robots, ghosts, the UAA attracted them all. The only difference between them and the others here, besides one actually having a sustainable income, was that the UAA knew what they were. They had to come to terms with it after facing off against teary eyed widows, sons, and daughters seeking justice. Coming to the realization again and again that the dead by their hands were humans, with hopes, dreams, and flaws. That what ever reasons they had for choosing this path, that they were not heroes. There were no more heroes. What remained was the UAA. She supposed that why so many of them were such death seekers. Now that she thought about it, the UAA was kind of a suicide assistance program. Maybe she could help Bond with that.

She took advantage of brief respite to take care of some business. She whipped out her phone and with the inhuman speed of a high school girl typed out messages and sent out what needed to be sent out. She let Bond take the lead. She was interested in the samurai Artoria too. Might as well let bond ask her questions for her while she kept an ear on them. She continued fiddling with her phone, even after finishing her work on it, to keep up appearances that she wasn't listening in.

That ruse lasted the whole of five seconds after the samurai girls started talking. Ten variations!? What!? How did that even...was Artoria Hindu or something? And this girl calling her self saber! Was there some Super Sentai Saber Force!? Was that it!? They killed Saber Blue, here is Saber Green, next comes Saber Red!? A host of colorful profanity kept locked away in the French/Hungarian woman's mouth, coming out as a hum that did nothing to hide her aggravation as she tapped her foot impatiently. How was she suppose to run an assassination business if people won't stay dead!? The wishes were bad enough, but this!? Sylvia shot Saber a glance that looked like she wanted to fight her right here right now, pacification field be damned!

She let out a sigh. Got to find your center. Remember your yoga. In. Out. Sylvia seemed to calm severely. She had her head about her again. Now, she just had to figure out how she could use this situation. It seemed the appearance was more then just coincidence. Did that mean this Saber too had a master? Sakura Saber may notice the French woman take a look at her party's hands, seeing if there was any markings. Garbing some papers from her files, she stood up and joined the other two. She still had a little time, though she was cutting it close.

As she approached she heard the name Kiritsugu Emiya. Oh, that was right, representatives names were written on the chairs. Come to think of it, the Cure went and let known that Saber even had a master. It must have slipped her mind. The very fact that the teenage girl wearing modern clothes coming from a Japanese chunk claiming she was king Arthur and king regent of her chunk had so many red flags that the fact she was not even the rep of her chunk must have gotten lost among all the others. It did make her wonder how anyone took the girl seriously with such blatant counter evidence to her statement. Saber was a bad liar, lucky for her people around these parts, were stupid enough to believe it. Though to be fair, its not like Henry was the boss around Santa Destroy, and that police girl in of Hellgate was definitely going to end up as someone else pawn.

"Don't feel bad Mr.Bond, it sounds like they make these Artorias by the dozen."

There was a playful cadence to the woman once again. She looked at Sakura Saber with the same unamused face she had before for about a second before taking on a suddenly friendly demeanor.

"Welcome to Battleworld. You have my condolences for finding yourself in this predicament. But, C'est la vie. As you may have heard, Fuyuki's people are currently in a vulnerable position. Hearing that, the UAA just had to act."

She produced some papers, as if to give the idea some grounds. If the samurai or the spy bothered to look them over, they would see papers laying down the terms and conditions for relief and aid to war torn chunks thanks to empire's invasion. The project being backed by a company call the Pizza Batt Co.

"We are currently attempting to assess the damages so we can understand how best to help the populace. We would like to find some volunteers to help with he effort how ever. Of course any who do will be compensated for their efforts. It seems even after hearing innocent people in danger, some prefer to simply sit on their hands and do nothing, just wasting time rather then jumping to action."

She shot Bond a look. Being a bureaucrat had its strength. She didn't actually have to do any of the work herself, Simpy get the gears in motion. So unlike a man of action, she actually could afford to sit around doing nothing.

Admittedly there was a probably a very good reason no one else was jumping to help Fuyuki. The youthful idealistic idiots simply didn't have the resources. Those who did know not to get involved. Anyone who had to run an entire chunk would know that simply taking on a million or so refugees was an impossibility. Doing so would over tax their resources and leave their own people vulnerable. Fuyuki's position made supply routes for having an army station there also very problematic. Simply, Fuyuki was a drowning chunk, trying to save it would only have them drag you down with it.

Ofcourse, the UAA wasn't trying to save Fuyuki. The whole helping chunks rebuild after the war was merely a PR campaign that allowed the UAA to get their people into other's chunks. But Fuyuki presented a unique opportunity. It was a fresh kill, and she wanted first choice on the dead flesh. Give with one hand while stealing with the other, just like she always did.

There was also a chance to get rid of some volunteers. It was just a matter of time til the sharks smell the blood in the water. City 17, Zi-jin Cheng, the Fire nation, sooner or later one of these chunks will try to annex the city. Many of these bone headed hero types seem the type to die rather then let that happen. Sylvia just figured she would give them the opportunity to do exactly that. While these idiot heroes try to prevent the inevitable, she could use them as a distraction to pull her own people out.

Ofcourse if they refuse to help, she had precedence of those groups knowingly abandoning a chunk to suffer. Gives Santa Destroy some moral lee way when each of these other chunks have their own sins to think on.

The two men in the grey hazmat suits had finished cleaning, doing another once over just to be sure. They even cleaned a beer puddle next to monolith someone left. There was just one last thing; the heads. They had orders to clean the room and make it presentable. Protocol would demand they get rid of all traces. But this wasn't a usual UAA job. They had no order for the heads one way or the other. With Fuyuki staying in battle world, there was always the chance that there was a next of kin who would wish to claim the bodies. Or an assassin would want to use the heads for...something. They each grabbed a head, sealed it in a plastic bag and vacuumed out the air. In the air tight packaging they placed each head into a portable refrigerating unit and carried it to the information booth.

Meanwhile over at the booth, Mask looked confused as the super soldier spoke out in this really nerdy sounding voice, or at least he would if he wasn't all invisible and shit. Now he ain't judging. If you kick serious ass, you kick serious ass. If you can beat a guys face in while sounding all polite and shit, thats cool. It took him a moment to realize that it wasn't the doom slayer, but someone else speaking. Ah, that explains things, but he had to ask.

"Damn man, how many people fit in that suit?"

But there was time for questions later. His man here was looking to kill shit, and it was his job to help people.

"Well the UAA is always hiring as long as you ain't camera shy. Outworld looks like the cover of some death metal band. Got a buddy there, says he can't go five seconds without someone punching him in the face and challenging him to mortal kombat."

Nero-Common Room to Inn

Nero, once he realized what was being implyed, reacted as one might expect.

"Hey, I'm not her servant!"

Before he could continue to protest, everyone started walking into the portal. Sighing, Nero followed along wordlessly, taking a seat. Then he turned to look at one girl in a....weird outfit claiming to be a "Demon Archer".

"What? That doesn't even begin to make sense. Unless you're some kind of half demon like the old man is, you're clearly not a demon, and I don't even see any arrows on you, let alone a bow."

Sylvia-Common Room

"Ms Sylvia"

Suddenly, Sylvia would find two individuals standing behind her. One was a masked man in a yellow and black suit of lightweight armor with dual swords on his back and pistols on his hips who she would not recognize. The other, however, she would no doubt remember.

"My name is Amanda Waller, head of the Suicide Squad. I believe it is past time I approach you. If you have some time, I have some business to discuss with you."

Sakura Inn

"Thank you very much for your compliments, I try to do what I can with this town, but truth be told the innkeeper is truly the one responsible for keeping this place so well maintained and lively," Yomi said to Shanoa. "Isabella and Charlotte - my shopkeep - are the ones who manage things day-by-day. I am truly blessed that they can keep things running so well that, well, sometimes it feels like they don't even need me."

"Oh you are simply too generous, my humble master," the innkeeper said when she approached the table. "If any of your guests require anything they simply need ask." She stood there waiting patiently and trying to see if anyone needed to eat or drink something.

"Transformation magic, excellent. I take it you are another woman who knows her way around a spell. It's helpful not having to explain the strange sorts of sorcery one might encounter here to the magically disinclined," Yomi said to Nobu. "Not that there's any shame in asking about anything you may not be familiar with. Even Ceri still needs a few of the more foreign concepts explained from time to time."

"It's not my fault I haven't been doing this for ten thousand years...." the aforementioned knight said, slinking down in her seat.

"When it comes to tails though, it's just the one," Yomi added. "Nine-tails are born with more natural power, but it only serves to swell up their pride. Just as well to earn such power rather than be given it, wouldn't you agree? After all, there is a reason I am the Dungeon Lord and the other foxes serve me. No matter how many tails they have, and no matter which world they come from."

"Ah yes, not a servant then. I understand completely. Ceri and I are companions as well," she said to Nero and Shanoa. "You mentioned a desire to seek employment in another territory," she continued. "Have you been forced to leave your own, or does the spirit of adventure simply burn in your loins and leave you seeking new sights? If you seek a new place to reside, there are many monsters - and even a few humans - who come from parts unknown and have learned to think of this place as their. If you desire new experiences, there are many things the dungeon has to offer which the human world may not be aware of. And if you simply seek treasure, that is still another matter yet. What sort of employment do you seek, and what sorts of skills do you offer?"

"Yeah, why were you so eager to go someplace totally new instead of all the other places that were on that map back there?" Ceri asked Shanoa suspiciously. The lady seemed pretty dead inside, no offense. Though since these were just things she was thinking she didn't know why she was apologizing. But still. There was something weird about her, nobody was ever that emotionless. Unless they got kicked by a mule as a child. And then her boyfriend - or at least, her friend who was of the male persuasion who traveled with her - seemed to be the exact opposite, at least if him complaining about the 'Demon Archer's' title was anything to go off of.

Yomi let out a light giggle and put a reassuring hand on the knight's shoulder. "Don't let Ceri scare you off, we're very quite welcoming here once you get to know us, she's just rather overprotective of me."

Tatsu, Red Sprite - Private Room

Tatsu gave the girl an odd look, wondering just what was wrong with her. But he was used to oddness, and so let it pass with little more than a mental shrug. He started to move towards the door, glancing at Makoto. "Alright, sure. And we have the Red Sprite's radio. That will work, right?"

Mono, Red Sprite - Main Deck

Mono's mouth was flapping soundlessly now, Yuugi's sheer determination and assertiveness breaking through his excuses and uncertainty. Eyes wide under his fringe, he stared up at the oni as she towered over him. The fire in her reminded the young teen of Tatsu, and he practically crumpled.

As the androgyne tried to gather his wits, Garnet snorted from nearby. He stared at Yuugi, and while he tried to play off acting casual, the way he was standing and the hand in his jacket made it obvious he was wary. "If you even had, you wouldn't have gotten far before Mono fried you. If we didn't stop you first. So don't go tryin' anything."

Finally, Mono managed to gather his wits enough to speak. "Maybe... we should wait till Tatsu gets back?"

Mitakihara Alley

The offer of an alliance wasn’t unexpected to Homura. The offer of being a go-between was, enough so as to cause Homura to look at Mio with some surprise. Though perhaps she shouldn’t have been so surprised - they did bring an envelope specifically for her, after all. It would have been very difficult for her not to find out the lack of contact, having coming from City Hall just now.

<I think it would be a good idea for you to consider this offer, Homura Akemi.> Kyubey shook his head like a dog shaking some loose dirt. <Considering our standing with the official government.>

Homura turned her head slightly to her left towards the white-furred creature, just enough to catch him in her peripheral vision. The glare wouldn't affect his demeanor, though the implicit threat behind it seemed to him to shut up for now. She’d turn back to Mio before proceeding: “I am not opposed to the idea in principle. I know the value in having allies. What I would like to know is what you are looking for out of this arrangement.” She paused momentarily, letting the question sink in. “In other words, why have you come so far for our cooperation as to offer to be a messenger?”

Not that the offer wouldn’t be helpful for Homura - coupled with SEES, a second line of indirect communication would be helpful both in terms of affirming to the adults anything she intended to tell them, but also in case that Nyarly being tried to interfere. But If Mio had intended the bold offer of generosity to ease the discussion with Homura, it rather did the opposite. The Folkestone ambassador would be able to see the wariness Homura had about such a gift when not five minutes prior she had not even seen her face. Something so generous set off her suspicion that there might be something too good for this to just be what it appears.

After all, she had the proof sitting behind her.

HGT Market

It was always the getaway that caused problems. Kyoko had had more than enough close calls to know that.

In retrospect, she wasn’t sure why she had forgotten her own lesson of “never look back at the mess”, but for some reason this time her eyes lingered behind her even after the bag was secured. She had just enough time turning her back from the scene of the crime to realize she was about to run into an object that wasn’t supposed to be there, only just able to hold enough balance to stay on her feet as she staggered back. Kyoko began to open her mouth to tell the man to mind his own business when she heard the commotion from the stand behind - it was by simple coincidence that the alley she began heading towards was the same alley the young man was electing to suddenly run from the law, making it unusually easy for him to grab her wrist and drag her.

It’d take several running paces for her to realize her wrist was being held by him. “Hey, let me go!” She’d try to pull herself out of his grasp, though she didn’t yet resort to any supernatural power.

Area 11 - Alice

The assassin stood as she took in the conversation between the revolutionaries. There was a certain disorganization to their methods. No rank and file, no protocol to adhere to as if dogma. They were youths, driven together by an inherent need for change. Speaking to each other as if comrades rather then fellow soldiers of the revolution. There were a certain purity to that image. But at the same time there was a show of weakness. Indecision was death on the battle field. But perhaps it could be forgiven with the circumstances they now find themselves in. Only a mad man would prepare for the sudden machinations of a mad god.

As she tried to garner insight into this groups dynamic through their words and the cadence when addressing one another, the girl walked up and introduced her self. She was but a child, no older then eighteen at the most. There were many like her here on this world. Fighters and warriors, unable to enjoy the last vestiges of youthful innocence. At the cusp of adulthood no longer because happenstance demand they take the step much earlier then any would intended. The cure was a cruel creature, he would bring so many like her here just to watch them all die.

There was a hesitation when asked her name. There was a certain sacredness to a name, especially that of a killer. Even as the UAA whored out their titles to market the death matches, there was still something about a name that was irrevocably theirs. As they lose everything else in life, it seemed that was one of few things they were still able to take with them to the grave. She had met assassins who had long thrown it away, only their skill with the blade needed in this life. She had met others who had begged with tears to their killers they etch it into their heart. Those who knew that there would be no grave stone for their body, no mourners at their passing, so a remembered name was the only grace they would ever receive at their passing.

What was a name? A rose by any other name. Could changing her identity be as simple as a change of her name? Could she not be what she was? Was there an escape from this fate? Could she truly use the same name as the woman who her child looked up to and called mother now that she had longed stopped being that woman? She suppose it didn't matter, there was but one way forward.

"Alice...Alice Twilight."

There was an air of nostalgia in her voice as she spoke the name. Her eyes seemed locked in some distant memory, or perhaps something more of a dream, before her eyes once again showed recognition of her surrounding. She noted the outstretched hand, considering it as if she had to remember how to appropriately react before taking the younger girl's hand in her own and shacking it.

The Doom Slayer manages to look amused at the suggestion that Vega's voice was his, despite the fact that he wears a helmet which conceals any form of emotion he would have shown on his face.

He does seem intrigued at the proposition of being employed to kill things, however. Vega picks up on this interest.

"I would like to think that The Doom Slayer would be quite interested in being hired by your organization. I, however, would like to know more about this group before any means of business occur."

Class 77-B- Sakura Dungeon

"Alright, lets go!" Chisa, carrying the rice, entered the portal with her class.

Devil May Cry. Interesting name...

"Woah!" Akane said.

"A portal? This must be because of the Cure." Peko said.

As Peko looked around, she realized that young master would never approve of the class being in this place.

"Alright, I'll take the tea!"- Chisa put down the rice, and went to the stove to prepare the tea.

Then "Demon Archer" changed outfits. Most of the others were surprised by this, but Sonia smiled with fascination.

"Wow... To think I would meet so many demons today. This is amazing!"

"Well, at least one of us is enjoying the kidnapping." Peko said

"Not the kidnapping people, but the ability to meeting other. This makes sense to you guys, right?" Sonia said

"... I can see why. It's always good to make the best out of a bad situation. It's just like when your hurt enough in a game, then you can use your limit break." Chiaki chimed in.

"... I suppose there is no use in complaining." Peko said.

"Tea's Ready!" said Chisa.

Dracula and Death, Throne Room

"And that is what the shape-shifting demon told me," Dracula concluded, recounting his visit with the shape-shifting demon. "At the moment, Belmont and Devil May Cry has allied with SEES and a number of the combined group is using SEES's room in the Common Hallway as a meeting spot."

Death, for his part, seemed to be lost in his own thoughts, remembering the brown-haired girl who seemed to channel something similar to his master's power and who had even had Death... another Death inside of her.

"What I do not understand is why Belmont would ally with these children," Dracula expressed a realm of confusion on his face. "It isn't like his family to risk children's lives needlessly."

"A red armband, you say?" Death eventually asked Dracula, as if to confirm his thoughts to be on the right path.

Dracula merely nodded.

"I was afraid of that," Death shook his head. "Remember the girl I spoke about who seemed to have your power... who seemed to even have another like me inside her?"

Dracula merely nodded.

"She wore a red armband as well," Death explained to his master. "I believe her to be a member of SEES."

"That girl is Minako Arisato, their leader," Dracula smirked, knowing he really shouldn't be. "We encountered each other in the Common Hallway after the chaos of two days ago when I was looking for Dante... I suppose if the hunters were meeting in SEES's room, that would have been their first meeting."

"I cannot say, but if I am to be... frank, Master?"

"Yes?"

"This is a dangerous game you are playing... Both the shape-shifting demon and the girl whose power echoes yours are powerful enough to threaten you beyond what even Belmont and his allies are capable of."

"Unfortunately, this is a game that I am forced to play for now," Dracula frowned at his loyal confidant, but smirked at Death. "However, if you are right, than eliminating her is a fool's errand."

Common Room

Eventually from out of Castlevania's portal came the floating vestige of Death himself and right behind him was the sensual vampiress Carmilla. Almost immediately did Death stop to take in the current scene, taking in the feel of the room. If coming into the Common Room was supposed to make Death feel confident in this mad alliance between his master and the shape-shifter, it failed completely and utterly. There was more threats in here than he even thought possible. He would have taken the time to note each one, but he had a mission to perform. And so the two flew through the Common Room towards the Common Hallway.

Carmilla, for her part, looked rather cross at Death as she followed him towards the Common Hallway, "Ugh, why do I have to work with the demon hunters?"

"It is a show of trust from the Master," Death retorted to Carmilla's complaint. "He wants the shape-shifting demon eliminated as much as anyone else does, and I have discovered the demon's current location."

"But why can't the Master send you?" Carmilla asked Death, who turned to look at her.

"You already know that the Master needs me to make sure our borders are secure," Death stated as he clenched his fist. "I will not discuss the reasons why where everyone can hear them."

"You will obey the Master, right?" Death seemed to give Carmilla a piercing glare.

"You know how loyal I am," Carmilla crossed her arms, pouting slightly and looking off to the side. Apparently, that statement had shut Carmilla up.

Common Hallway to DMC's Office

Eventually the two stood in front of the the door to Devil May Cry's office, Death glanced over towards SEES's room, knowing that was the objective, but was forced to take this more roundabout path to it.

"Oh, the door is unlocked," Carmilla was surprised as she was able to open the door and walk right in, taking a seat in the nearest chair. Death followed Carmilla in, but preferred to float where he was.

"Where is Belmont? Where is Dante?" Death asked around before making his announcement. "I have located the shape-shifter in City 17."

Future Satori, Chireiden
When Goro, in a few more words, swatted down the idea of danmaku being introduced, Satori slowly grew more and more visibly displeased. "Fine, then. I will leave that particular matter 'on the burner', as they say," she replied cooly.

She understood their reasoning, at least from an outsider's perspective. For something that was as much an artform as a form of violence, danmaku should naturally be a spectator sport! Even if they were against the idea of letting these things become public exhibitions, she had her own important reasons to ask for spectacle and publicity to be added. As she said, though, that's for later.

On the second point, Satori saw nothing wrong with it, and merely nodded in agreement. It was magic, and she had heard of the many folded dimensions and impossible spaces that Gensokyo hid all over the place like eggs placed by a bipedal, pagan rabbit. It made sense.

Lastly, though, Misaki's vigilance cracked again. And this time, Satori got to see a little bit of what this person was...

She had a much, much more vested interest in the answer to her question than she thought. With a guillotine stationed and at the ready above her neck, and that of everyone she would normally ever know, Satori's own worries over punishment seemed founded. Lesser, but founded.

With everyone's attention turned to Misaki, Satori's eyes narrowed further, looking deeper...and her third eye widened greatly, staring unblinkingly at the woman, and through her.

Strange, how that would be what she finds power in. Just a face, a voice, and a compliment. Instincts were, from Satori's perspective, the anathema to rational thought. Koishi's purview, not hers. However, if it was what got her to that point...

She hung her head low, briefly. "...Constant competition..."

"...Yes. You're my senior in this world, so I believe that my uninformed self will take your word for it," she said, with a shrug and a wry smile. "If you can assure me of that, that I and the people I work for will benefit from this, then I am all for this dueling ground of yours. Ms. Misaki, Mr. Goro...Ms. DG-035, consider my support voiced."

Yuugi, The Red Sprite
Yuugi's face quickly turned to face Garnet, and she loudly announced "The only difference between an oni and a fried oni is that one tastes good! If a bolt of lightning came between us and the destiny we chose to forge, we'd grab it with our bare hands and make a better blade with it!"

At this point, Yuugi was a bit too far steeped in her own hotbloodedness. There was little that could be done to stop her at this point. Come to think of it, it's a bit hypocritical that she's saying this and trying to change Mono's immediate destiny at the same time, right? Yeah.

She looked back down at Mono, and said "Eh? Wait for him?! I don't know about you, but he's—"

...He's probably in the middle of running a country and continuing to ensure the safety of 70+ people. That's something that, unfortunately, even she wasn't ready to barge in on.

Breathing deep and then exhaling through her nose, teeth gritted and the expelled air honestly feeling like a sharp breeze to those beneath her, she got back to her seat. "Yes. You're entirely right. I'll give him a few minutes. But if I were you," she said with a firm point of her finger, "I'd start preparin' myself for this journey." She crossed her arms and closed her eyes, looking a little terse.

Tea Party

"Eh, I'm not really like a demon demon, you know. It's something that people called me back in the day when I was an unholy terror on the battlefield and all. Infamy helped a lot and I found that I quite enjoyed the fear so I took up the title." Speaking in the mannerism of an old veteran reliving their glory days, the diminutive woman smirked as she fiddled around at the table, leaning back slightly in her chair like the child she appeared to be. It was quite an interesting contrast to be sure.

"And for the spell thing, eh... I'm not a Caster but an Archer. I shoot things good. This is just an ability and not actual magecraft or sorcery. That's pretty different." Demonstrating by holding out her sleeve so that the flames licked away to show various different fabrics like nylon or cotton before resuming that of her silk kimono, Nobunaga then summoned her matchlock on the table for Nero to see. "Don't look at me, I didn't make the system. Heck, I wish I had been summoned as a Gunner since that class makes more sense for me, but the system is a crock in general." Truer words have never been spoken considering half of the Archers Chaldea ever met didn't even use a bow in the least.

Appearing rather more interested in Yomi than before, the former general gave an approving whistle. "You, I like even more. People who work their way up to get where they are have my respect. Nobles have it too good most of the time and they think they can do anything they want just because they're born into it. They're what cause most of the trouble in a given country, stirring up conflict to sate their own bloated ego." Left unsaid was how she herself was of noble blood and how she had an ego the size of her multiple storied castle. Still, at the very least she wrested power for herself through her own daring efforts so that was something

Nobunaga smirked as she continued to idle away the time by taking in all the attractive monster girls about. Place was definitely full of beautiful flowers to look at and the romantic inside of her admired the scenery for a few seconds before comparing them to a certain member of the Shinsengumi. Definitely had more to work with than that girl but in her mind, Okita was still higher than everyone here for... reasons. She was especially cute when flustered for sure. Lost in her daydreams for the moment before being roused out by rather enthused talking, Nobu focused her attention on the high school students.

Glancing particularly at the happy kid, the soldier of fortune nodded. "Indeed, it is always better to be half full than half empty. You can only win if you have the belief that you can do so, losers with their spines broken will simply become fodder for the others. A strong mind is essential for the long term, losing your courage will bring nothing but misfortune. Continue to be cheerful, girl. You'll stay alive longer." Encouraging hope in her own blunt way, the Sengoku leader gave herself a mental pat on the back for her good deed done for the day.

Common Room, Ritsuka

Pausing in her movement toward the Sakura Dungeon portal at the mention of 'Fuyuki City', Ritsuka stared blankly for a moment at the representative from the UAA before turning to the global map, finding that the place was indeed there. It was something she would never forget, her first mission having been in the cratered and burning Fuyuki City. It was the start of everything, the beginning of the end so to speak. She had been reborn as Chaldea's Master in that land, the hellscape being the crucible that smelted away the innocent bystander into a magus and Master.

Moving away from the tea party on the other side of the portal after mentally checking on her silly Nobu, Ritsuka's breath quickened further as she caught sight of something... familiar. The face was similar, extremely so. Moving from a regular walking pace to that of a mad dash that brought a gasp of shock from Mash, the redhead stumbled in front of the information booth that the cleaners had now displayed the heads at, expression warping from disgust to bereavement to rage and so on, a myriad and shifting mix of negative emotions.

"...What... happened... here?" Emanating out from her throat as a dry croak, the 48th Master all but lunged towards the head of one of the Arturias that was being morbidly put on display, only held back in the vise-like grip of Mash that dragged the struggling girl back with a pained expression on her face. "Tell... ME. NOW!!!" All but roaring out and buckling uselessly against Shielder's grasp, true rage could be seen in the third-rate magus' golden eyes, hand clawing at the air towards the King of Knight's severed head... the hand with the Command Seal vividly imprinted upon it.

"Senior, calm down!" Looking visibly distressed as she glanced at her grieving friend and the beheaded trophy of war that brought about mixed emotions from both the person known as Mash and the entity Galahad that gave her his power, the Demi-Servant used her superior physical strength to keep her leader from doing anything rash. Still, there had to be an explanation for such. The feeling of loss was especially raw for the group after losing a certain man, this event simply reignited the darker emotions felt by the members of Chaldea. There was a certain sense of pack mentality involved and people who fought together especially didn't want to see their comrades be mistreated in death.

Though this probably wasn't the Saber they knew, it was still dishonorable to do something to a figure as great as the late king. "I would like some information please. Anyone. Tell me what happened here, this IS an information booth, right?" Saying that louder than she had to and holding onto the now slumping Ritsuka, Mash winced as she knew how much her Master enjoyed being with the various Servants. If anything, she was much too caring of the various heroes that had gathered around her and how her sensibilities had been triggered rather hard by the sight of such an honorable woman treated in such a manner.

Okita, Common Room

Having kept an eye on Sylvia's reaction in general, if anything the woman known as Sakura Saber grew more and more frosty as her young but worldly gaze took in the mannerisms and tells of the woman. Before the features were schooled, there were quite a few things that all but slammed into the Servant's thoughts just from a few seconds of looking casually. A tantrum was definitely being thrown after the whole 'ten variations' thing was brought up and there was a vixen like look that smelt strongly of manipulation... especially considering how she was looking at the various party member's hands in particular.

Glare turning almost intense as a laser as soon as she realized that the woman was attempting to ferret out who was the Master, Okita stopped her eyes from instinctively flicking on over to Ritsuka to make it harder on the woman in question. Still, sadly for her efforts, the Master's mark was decidedly easy to see considering how deeply hued in an eye-catching red color it was. The lying bitch even had the gall as to pretend that she was going about garnering interest to help out a chunk that was now vulnerable with relief efforts, saying it with the same exact terms that a politician would use to justify an annexation of weaker territories. Hell, the fact that Arturia's HEAD was on display and her Master was understandably distressed incensed the woman further, turning ice into arctic frost at this point.

The only thing that prevented the woman from getting her sword out to cut down Sylvia then and there was the fact they were in a place not of their own, and how this was apparently a neutral ground that forbid violence from being enacted. Not even someone as thick-skinned as the Shinsengumi would attack in such a place, at least not without a solid enough alibi. Still, there was something she could work with, the proverbial fishbone in the throat for such a gluttonous woman. "Indeed, Mister Bond. King Artoria is eternal in a sense. You may kill her once or twice, but she'll always be able to come back if the conditions are met. People die when they are killed... but heroes never die for long." The Throne of Heroes in particular saw to that.

With words as sharp as a spring-loaded razor, the Bakumatsu enforcer became rather catty in her words while keeping up appearances via a straight face. The woman already clearly knew about Servants, so she simply skipped into the psychological warfare step in order to trip her up and attempt to plant seeds of doubt. Fear of the unknown was something that all humans feared to an extent, some more than others. For such a manipulative bitch like the woman before her, it was best to riddle her worldview with mysteries so as to frustrate her. And boy, was Okita good at frustrating people.

Looking past the damnable woman and towards the head with the air of someone who saw this all too much, the Shinsengumi agent gazed at the face that looked ever so similar to her own, burning it in her eyes. It was a fate that any and all could succumb to, not even heroes were exempt. After a few seconds of such, the kimono clad killer simply muttered a single certain phrase that would definitely curl the spines of those who knew her organization's deeds. "Aku soku zan." And it was definitely something that a woman of her word would enact, no matter how silly she was otherwise.

Velvet Room Hall, Minako and Aigis

The ponytailed girl standing beside Vergil watched the brothers stand off with a rather quizzical and catlike smile, but bobbed her head at the end. "That's what he's agreed to!" she offered, flipping her hands in a 'what can you do?' sort of gesture, "You believe your brother's word, right? He doesn't strike me as the lying type, at least."

The Fool beamed up at the blue-coated Son of Sparda for a moment, then started walking blithely past the Devil May Cry folk on her way to the exit, pausing to pat Dante on the shoulder a couple times. "Well, we're burning daylight! We better get going. I'll send you the video later, though. We should probably compare notes anyway in case you and me need to team up, right?"

"We should depart as well, Sypha," Aigis opined as she set her cup down and stood from her zazen position. Momentarily halting as an important fact was flagged in her memory, the gynoid turned to Vergil's brother and bowed slightly. "Hello, Dante Son of Sparda, I am Aigis, a member of SEES. I know we have not been properly introduced, but it was nice to meet you nonetheless. Sypha and myself are going to the Common Room to ponder the map before we decide where to investigate. You are welcome to join us, if you wish. Alternatively, if you would prefer to stay here for the time being, please help yourself to the fresh cookies and tea."

"Yeah, I'd hate for them to go bad just sitting there without anybody to eat them! I mean, those took most of the morning to bake!" Minako agreed with a solemn frown.

Common Room, Akihiko and Junpei —> Meeting Room

"Yeah, we are," the guy with the baseball cap practically growled as both boys' heads swiveled to look upon their questioners with suspicion, "Who're you...?"

Apparently reaching a conclusion in the ensuing half-second, Akihiko narrowed his eyes in comprehension and held up a hand. "Not here," he insisted vehemently, palming the scrap of paper as he rose and discreetly ushered the other Persona Users and their little cat too into one of the anti-eavesdropping rooms.

"So," the intrepid boxer-turned-diplomat opened after buttoning the door closed and dropping into one of the chairs, "You're the Phantom Thieves, huh? If I understand right, you came in the first time with costumes on. Are you really gonna be okay wandering around this place in civilian clothes? People are gonna start asking where you're from and connect the dots, you know."

Bond - Not A Stranger To This; Common Room

"In accordance to the prophecy." Bond said with a sad smile. With that, he was referring to the old tale that King Arthur was not dead, but merely sleeping until Britain's hour of greatest need came along. He'd always thought that a myth. But then again, he had thought the same of King Arthur.

Ritsuka's cries carried over to him, and Bond turned to look at her and Mash. More people from Chaldea, it seemed, and less stoic than Sakura Saber. They were asking for answers, and he would be damned if they got lies from Santa Destroy.

"I'm afraid you'll have to excuse me a moment." Bond apologized to Okita, before setting off towards Ritsuka. Okita's final words rang in his ears, however:

Aku soku zan was an old Japanese phrase. Slay Evil Immediately. Sometimes it paid not to do so, but he was glad they seemed to be on similar pages.

"She was killed sometime this morning, by an assassin from Santa Destroy named Alice Twilight." He said, coming up from behind the Master and Servant. "She believed that if she killed the defenders of a chunk, it would be removed. She made the mistake of declaring this in front of the Cure and the people in this room."

"As a result, the Cure refused to remove Fuyuki and reversed her attempt at suicide. Because the UAA couldn't control one of their pscyhopaths, thousands are at risk, at least two people are dead, and we can't even avenge them without giving their killer exactly what she wants."

He looked at the cleaning men behind the counter, a harsh glare forming.

"And if you dare touch those remains again, I promise that you won't make it out the front door of your building."

They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!

Homura’s Apartment Complex, Mitsuru — First, the bad news!

"Good morning, Tomoe-san, Kyubey-san," the Kirijo heiress greeted with a genial smile, clapping her tome closed after she noted the page number, "And there's no need for apologies; It's entirely reasonable to wait after giving you such short notice. Besides, I came prepared." She patted her reading material by way of emphasis before vanishing it back into the ether. "If anything, I should be the one apologizing for forcing you to drop everything and make your way over here."

"As for location..." Mitsuru mused, leaning over to - just this once, she told herself - pet the irresistible fluffiness that Minako had been raving about, "I am sure Akemi would have preferred to take me through the regular portal, but we had to make do with the temporary one Cure had provided as summons to distribute wishing privileges, as it would seem Mitakihara's standard portal is now guarded under the auspices of the ever-watchful U.S. Armed Forces. But the situation is... drastic, yes."

The redhead's arm fell away from Kyubey's fur as she sobered up, folding her hands in her lap. "There is a terrible menace lurking on this planet, which SEES and others learned of days ago, but which the bulk of those involved did not encounter directly until last night, aboard that orbiting battlestation. The creature in question was openly aiding the so-called Galactic Emperor in the latter's bid to wipe out all life on the planet. Its other crimes include attempting to assassinate a chunk leader through direct manipulation of others, the hijacking of mass communications in Ikebukuro for what we gather was a partly-successful campaign of fear and misinformation, and more than likely myriad other acts that we don't yet know of and probably can't confirm."

"The reason it was able to accomplish all these things with impunity is because it seems able to utilize several extremely powerful, versatile abilities, on top of being a physical powerhouse." Mitsuru took a deep breath and began rattling them off. "It can perfectly shapeshift into any form it wishes, though those seen thus far have been mainly humanoid. It seems to know at the very least all of its victims' darkest secrets and weaknesses, including those from one's home universe and those known to nobody else. We are uncertain as to whether this is due to some sort of mind-reading ability, but in any case, you can easily imagine that these skills allow it to nigh-flawlessly impersonate anyone it wants to, which we already know it has due to reports of a previous run-in. And as if that weren't enough, it can also teleport within an unknown radius and use what we are quite certain is an extensive repertoire of combat-based magical spells."

"Our only real saving graces in this matter are that The Cure has likely limited its power somewhat for the sake of his twisted 'game', and that the creature itself doesn't seem inclined to kill people directly rather than manipulate them into killing each other, it's yet-unknown goals seemingly related to sowing chaos and conflict between and among chunks. We've presently pulled together what you might call an international team of supernatural hunters for the sake of investigating and pursuing a search and destroy mission. However, the only leads we have on the thing beyond what I've already mentioned are that its name, or one of its names, is 'Nyarlathotep', and..." SEES' second-in-command trailed off, looking to the side with a grimace, "Well, we don't truly know what it is, and we've never encountered anything like it before, but available evidence strongly suggests that it's some kind of entity from our home universe. My universe, that is."

Santa Destroy Café

Curved and wavering like a reed in the wind, Anri spent the four seconds staring at the floor with an unfathomable thought: Have I found the wrong person? Feeling herself bow ever lower under the weight of the sheer awkwardness, the Saika host was a fifth second away from apologizing and turning back when the scene around her erupted. Coming up to standing with a start and a blink of her crisp red eyes, the crimson steadily bled out onto her cheeks accompanying a look of startled disbelief as the cheerleaders modeled themselves into an anglicized version of her name with the liquid ease of getting out of their chairs. Anri barely had time to absorb (or decipher) the following chant before she found herself mobbed on all sides, the physical equivalent of the pressing waves of attention she suddenly felt focused on herself. She wasn’t used to this much praise or adoration, she didn’t know how to handle being fawned over like a doll in the window, and her mind went blank around the time a sharp tug on her cheek called her passenger from the depths like a shark chasing blood.

“Th-thank you,” she gasped as she smacked the spot on her cheek as if swatting a mosquito, feeling the taut pinprick of Saika’s blade pressing into her palm even as her gaze alighted on Charlie’s infectious grin, the man replicating the hasty gesture she had conjured up on the edge of yesterday’s battle. “Not just for everything you did during the battle, but… For what you didn’t do. I know it must have seemed… counterintuitive…” Noticing the footballer’s gaze was anywhere but on her, the student followed it curiously before landing on a jaw-dropping sight—her master, being surrounded by her former friends. Her former cheerleading friends. Wow, Anri thought, her blush growing as her Saika-enhanced sight gave her an adequate view of the lone cheerleader’s phone, Master looks so… so…

Happy! Anri’s smile spilled out as she took in the display, amazed at how many peers Shinobu had in her heyday. Or… I guess her real name is Scarlet… But she wouldn’t have told me to call her Shinobu if she didn’t want me to. “We can let them catch up if you want.” Anri said to her comparatively massive comrade, having to practically crane her neck to make eye contact. Remembering Scarlet’s (Shinobu’s!) gesture from moment before, Anri gently tugged on the edge of the sports fan’s glove to lead him over to the pastry display. “Here, let me buy you something. My—my treat.” Coming to a stop before the glass display and feeling bad about a vague hope that he didn’t pick anything too expensive, she caught a glimpse of their reflections in the almost-clear surface, and found herself giggling softly again at the sheer contrast.

“How have you been, since yesterday?” She ventured, settling with looking at the reflection of the man to spare her neck. “You didn’t get hurt, did you? I didn’t really have time to take in any of the damages, I spent the night at Dr. Naomi’s—she’s the one who asked me to pilot the robot in the first place. But I'm glad your friends are all okay."

Sakura Dungeon - Inn

"Why thank you," Yomi said to Chisa, taking a moment to inhale and appreciate the scent of the oolong in the air.

"So...." Ceri said, trying to think of a way to break the ice and ask the question. It was a question that she really had wanted an answer to since she first went through that portal and saw all these new people. "You guys," she briefly paused. "You guys are... kids." She once again briefly paused, trying to let that sink in. "...why? At least the monsters here can protect themselves, and then me, Maeve, and Bonny are strong for humans. But we're still, you know, not kids. It's really awful that a bunch of you are stuck here where people are supposed to fight."

She shook her head. "Mrs. Shanoa said you guys were chunkless and that you're stuck in that hallway back in that weird white room, but we have a lot of rooms at this in maybe we could..." she gave a little pout and looked at Yomi.

The fox gave a small smile and a light nod at the knight.

"Yeah!" Ceri exclaimed. "I mean, yeah. Only if you guys want to...."

While Ceri talked to the high school class, Yomi laughed gently at Nobu's words. "We'll certainly need to keep you away from the noblewomen here then, there's no telling what one of them might do if you say things like that and get them bothered." She gave the 'Demon Archer' a look. "So from how strongly you feel about it, I take it that you too have worked your way up to a position of power or influence where you come from? What is it even like in your homeland? Your rice and your clothing are so similar to those of my own homeland, I can't help but wonder what else is similar. But that was so long ago, it feels as though it is part of a previous lifetime."

She sighed. "Now humans have moved on and so much is different now. Human cities are so much more complicated than they once were. Even more so compared to Sakura. I'm sure you could spend all day telling me about your homelands and your so-called chunk. Certainly more than I can talk about this place, of that I have no doubt. I like to keep things simple, where there is just one Dungeon, and one Dungeon Lord."

Another fox with a big set of space-age-looking armor entered the inn just then, looking over at the visitors gathered with Yomi and Ceri for a moment. She eventually sat down next to the other two foxes with space-age-looking armor and talked to them in hushed tones.

Nero-Sakura Inn

Nero turned to face Yomi as she asked about him.

"Er, not quite, my boss just needs some cash flow. We're demon hunters, basically, we go out and kick the asses of evil demons who get their kicks running around slaughtering humans for shits and giggles. We don't have any real problem with demons who don't do that, most of us are like half demons or something anyway."

To demonstrate, Nero took off the large glove he had covering his arm to reveal a glowing demonic looking claw

"For instance, I got this thing. Powerful claw thing, haven't seen anything that can chop through it, not even uber powerful demon swords, and it can extend some weird ghost like hand thing to grab shit."

To demonstrate, he reached out with the arm as a white hand shot out of the claw, grabbing an empty plate off of a nearby table and dragging it to his hand.

"Handy, eh?" He chuckled at his pun. "It also packs a hell of a punch."

Then he turned to Noby. "Gunner, eh? You should meet this Lady friend of mine, she's a real nut about guns sometimes. You two would probably hit it off."

He reached into his pocket, taking out his phone and flipping to a picture of a heavily armed woman smirking and leaning on another man's desk, who was giving a weak, nervous smile to her.

"That's her with all the guns and shit."

Makoto-Red Sprite

Well, she was guessing they didn't have phones then, if their first thought was radio communications. That would complicate things. She reached for her phone and pressed the app again to revert back to her normal form.

"Well, that could be an issue." She said as she made to follow Tatsu out. "I suppose, give me your radio frequency and we'll work something out on our end."

Devil May Cry Office'

Trish looked up from the desk where she had been doing her nails as the two entered the room. She shrugged as they asked questions.

"Don't know where Belmont is. Dante's over at the SEES room right now, but I'd watch it if you head over there, there might be some major fighting going on over there right now, not really sure."

Velvet Room

Dante, clearly not having expected events to take this turn, stood flabbergasted that this was actually happening. As people started moving for the door he was in front of, he quickly moved out of the way, still at a loss for words. Vergil, meanwhile, shook his head as he started following Minako.

"Er, ya, good to meet you too, Aigis. I guess my calendar is clear for now unless someone randomly shows up with a job for me to do, but what's the odds of that happening, right?"

Meeting Room

The three thieves followed Akihiko into the room.

"Well sure, we thought about that at first too."

Surprisingly, this comment came from the cat in Joker's bag, who poked his head out to speak to them.

"But we're in a room that has our name right on the door. They're going to figure out something's up anyway, Right now, our cover story is that we're just a bunch of normal thieves, with totally no special powers or anything. Besides, normal clothes stick out a lot less then the outfits, cool as they are."

"Not to mention some among us are not the biggest fans of using them in public. Ann, in particular, for reasons I still do not comprehend." Yusuke said

"Ohhhhh....Ann's costume is so good...." One could almost imagine Morgana drooling at this point.

"Truly, it has excellent aesthetics. One wonders why she gets so angry when I comment on it."

"Maybe it has something to do with how you tried to blackmail her into posing for a nude painting?"

At this point Joker coughed. "Getting back on track, we've considered all of that, yes. Don't worry, we still have quite a few tricks up our sleeves."

Sypha, Velvet Room

"I suppose you can join us, Dante," Sypha offered to the half-demon before she headed out of the Common Room with Aigis.

Death & Carmilla, DMC Room

"Please remain here a moment," Death said as he turned to Carmilla and gave her what amounted to an order. "Follow me."

Common Hallway

"YOU!!! HOLY FLAME!!!" About the only thing preventing Sypha from outright turning Carmilla into a bonfire was the forced neutrality of the Common Areas. Even despite this, the witch glared daggers at the vampiress.

"Sypha Belnades," Carmilla grinned like the devil. "I suppose you heard from the Young Master Alucard that I was here on Battleworld as well."

"I did," Sypha spat venom at her. It would be clear to anyone who knew Sypha for an extended period that the hatred she had for Carmilla was more personal than anything else.

"You are responsible for darkening the hearts of men and starting the great witch trials on our world!" Sypha gritted her teeth, while Carmilla savored the moment more than anything else.

"Oh please... That Bishop desired power over Wallachia via the Church," Carmilla scoffed at Sypha. "The very Church that you work for now... He did not need my help to start the great witch trials."

"SILENCE, CARMILLA!!!" It was Death's turn to glare daggers at Carmilla which was rare for the bony grim reaper. "Do not antagonize the hunters, or..."

"Or I will tell the Master what the witch has told me," Death spoke calmly yet sarcastically. "I am sure he would love to hear about who truly started the great witch trials."

Carmilla's face could be best described as looking like she might just be screwed, "But... But I didn't start them, that damned Bishop did!"

"The Master wants you to help the hunters destroy the shape-shifting demon, and that is what you are going to do, Carmilla," Death stated quite bluntly to her. "Is that clear?"

"...Yes," Carmilla said meekly and crossed her arms, pretty much resigned to help in the hunt for Nyarlathotep at this point.

"Good... I have located the shape-shifting demon in City 17," Death stated, looking away from the vampiress as he spoke. "And Carmilla has been ordered to help you with this."

Shanoa, Sakura Inn

"It is alright," Shanoa said to the innkeeper, waving concerns off. "We can just have the tea and rice."

When Yomi and Ceri began interrogating them, Shanoa considered how to answer them.

"Well, I chose to come here because they chose to come here," Shanoa pointed at Chisa and Class 77-B. "As far as I knew, you are a half-woman, half-fox creature who controls a place called Sakura Dungeon and has a knight companion, and I could not let children walk into the unknown without suitable protection."

"I mean no offense with that statement, Yomi," Shanoa apologized to the Dungeon Lord. "So far you have been a gracious host."

"As for myself, I am of the Order of Ecclesia... Because of that, I have access to glyphs which I use which allow me to perform a wide array of magic," Shanoa explained to Yomi.

"For example... Confodere," Shanoa said as she summoned an ethereal crimson rapier in her left hand and moved the rapier in a smooth S motion before dispelling the weapon away. "And it is just as lethal as any rapier as well as merely one of my glyphs."

"The glyphs I use are channeled through the symbols on my shoulders and back," Shanoa continued as she turned to Nobu. "And you may be happy to know that glyphs could also be channeled through weapons designed with them in mind... One former Order member even uses the enchanted firearm Agartha to channel his glyphs."

These people did not need to know that she had been hunting down the wielder of Agartha, Albus, before she had ended up on Battleworld.

"Also... do not call me Mrs. Shanoa," Shanoa turned to address Ceri, still as emotionless as ever. "I am unmarried as far as I remember."

Santa Destroy - Koishi Race - Rin

The desert gave way to the city, open sands to the asphalt valleys between man made mountains of glass and steel. The noise became cluttered as the sounds of the busy city became evident. The sound of car engines and honking horns polluted the air, especially when the race to the girl took them through the city streets.

Skelter shared the same lack of concern for any traffic laws as the other UAA members. The stolen motor cycle and its rider weaved through traffic, out racing and dodging the other cars. He gritted his teeth, he could feel them closing in. He had no time to worry about it though. Eye on the prize, he had to make it there first. Waiting for an opening in the traffic, he hit the boost. Flames spat out the exhaust as he tried to pull ever further into the lead.

Meanwhile the doctor hovered just behind the cat girl. Damn, thwarted again! How did she see thorough his deception!? Clearly she was more evolved then her little non cat features let on. So be it, he too was capable of evolution. His robotic eyes scanned the non cat creature. Clearly the primitive wheel barrow was giving her an edge of some sort. Then he will just have to use its strengths as his own. Next time he sees Naomi, he will just have to get an upgrade. Lets see how this non cat creature handles the Earth Quake Generator Mk 2, patton pending, when he too had a wheel barrow to wield to his advantage. He almost let out an evil laughter, but he forgot where the audio file was located in his memory banks. However, calculations suggested getting this upgrade now would surely mean he would lose the race. DAMN! Thwarted again. How does she do it!?

Rin may feel the beady glowing eyes of the tower on her. As Shake moved through the city, cars swerved to move out of its way. It didn't stop its big stupid metal forehead from knocking over every traffic light he couldn't fit under though. Behind them were the honking and hollering of angry drivers as the doctor seemed to create yet another traffic problem with its mere existence. With the time they were making, it wouldn't take long to reach their destination. Assuming they don't get distracted along the way.

Santa Destroy - Shopping center - Koishi

What!? The cute anime girl was leaving!? This was his chance at a rose colored harem life, and it was slipping right out of his grasp because he was too much a loser. He was actually a bigger loser then the protagonist of a harem anime. God that was depressing.

"Uh...Uh..."

Come on come on come on, just say something. He'd been that background character the artists were too lazy to even color in his entire life. Now he could be the protagonist.

"Um...Uh..."

He wouldn't get another chance at this. He had to do this. He had to! Swallowing hard, he struck a pose and let out all that pent up anxiety.

"I LOVE YOU!"

The statement coincided with a break in the series of anime openings. All was quiet in that moment. Even as much of a social cripple as he was, even he knew how wrong that was. It was too much, too soon, too sudden, too everything. His friend could only look at him in horror, secretly glad he didn't have the balls to speak up first. As the moment passed, cutesy anime music filled the air again.

"...j-just kidding..."

God he was a loser.

"...............you can leave if you want to.....I won't blame you....."

He slumped to the floor. Defeated by his own stupidity. This is what he gets for playing in RL. At least he always had his waifus...

Through the front entrance of the shopping center came crashing a large motorcycle. It skid across the floor as the monochrome rider leap off the vehicle, landing in a sprint. His eyes instantly locked onto the bosozoku. As he charged, he ignited his beam katana, three large parallel swords, almost as long as he.

"Ryuji! Give me back my cat!"

It took a second for Skelter to remember his original objective.

"...And the girl!"

Ryuji silently thanked Kami-sama for sending some one to fight him. One more moment in this moe hell...already that song was going to be stuck in his head for weeks. Puru puru puruin. Damn. The cat leaped off his head to go join the girl in the store.

The Japanese man watched the monochrome youth charged. Amateur. He was putting too much momentum into the attack. When Skelter went for the swing, Ryuji ducked the blow with the grace and speed of a seasoned warrior. stepping forward, he grabbed the youth by the throat, lifting him him into the air before slamming him to the ground. The youth laid there, unmoving. That was disappointing, he shouldn't have expected so much from a rank 51. Ryuji turned to go back to the store when he heard a rustling behind him followed by the voice of the monochrome youth.

"H-hey...we're not done yet..."

He turned back to see the youth struggling to his feet. Blood dripped down his face. He spat out some blood that collected his mouth as he drew out his modified revolver. There was still fire in the youth's eyes. He would just have to beat it out of him.

Mono, Red Sprite - Main Deck

Yuugi's dramatic reaction to his threat left Garnet more confused than anything, the young man giving her a bemused and annoyed look. "Why can't anyone around here be normal..." He muttered under his breath, but judging by the way he removed his hand from his jacket it seemed that the oni's actions had downgraded her from a possible threat to just another crazy person around.

With the focus no longer on Mono for the moment, he slowly sat back up straight on the chair. Freezing briefly when the boisterous woman's attention turned back to him. He stayed like that as she spoke, growing tense and clipped in her actions and words; Making him cock his head curiously. As he watched Yuugi sit there, eyes closed and tense, he realized it was almost familiar. Tatsu would get the same way sometimes, when things weren't moving as fast as he wanted or needed to go. Lips tweaked faintly in amusement, Mono leaned over and softly patted her knee.

Tatsu, Red Sprite - Back Together

"Well, do you have any more of those cool wireless phones we could take?" Tatsu glanced aside at the girl as he led her back the way they had initially came. "Or if you tell the professor how it works, he might be able to make one. He's pretty good at that kind of thing." The young captain then gave Makoto a radio frequency. "I'll make sure someone is always listening in, in case you send a message."

Stepping through the doorway brought the rest of the groups back into view, still sitting around the table or scattered around the large hall. Mono glanced up from where he was comforting the irate oni, and smiled when he spotted Tatsu. Having promised to keep the alliance quiet, the dark-haired teenager grinned and strode towards the table; Acting as if nothing of consequence had happened. "So what's going on over here now?"

Class 77-B- Sakura Dungeon

"A terror on the battlefield? I mean, I heard an underclassmen of mine is the Ultimate Solider, and Novoslavic Students are taught military tactics in Elementary school, so this isn't that shocking..." Sonia said, while the rest of the class was a bit suprised. "Magic, though... Guess we did move to another world."

If Sonia was disappointed in "Demon Archer" not being an actual demon, she didn't show it at all.

"... Wouldn't being an Archer imply skill in... Archery?" Peko, newcomer to the whole Servant system (an irony, given her status as a bodyguard back home), was a little confused at it, probably not the last time she will.

"You're Welcome!"

Meanwhile, as Chisa set the tea down, it seemed it was time for formal introductions.

"Hey, don't count us out." Akane said, having whatever food she could have at the moment.

"Most of us can protect ourselves." Peko said

"Oh, seems like we haven't introduce ourselves yet. We're Class 77-B of Hope's Peak Academy. I'm their homeroom teacher, Chisa Yukizome, former Ultimate Housekeeper."

Already anticipating a question, Chiaki spoke up next.

"Hope's Peak Academy is a school back in our world. It's meant for the Ultimate Students of a particular talent to be scouted out to attend, to further their skills. Well, I say "School", I suppose it's more loose than what you'd consider normal. Anyways, I'm the Ultimate Gamer, Chiaki Nanami."

"Oh, pardon my rudeness, Introductions completely slipped my mind. I'm Sonia Nevermind, Ultimate Princess."

"I'm Peko Pekoyama, Ultimate Swordswoman."

Akane stopped eating for a brief second. "Akane Owari, Ultimate Gymnast."

Last up was Tsumiki, who stammered a response.

"I-I'm Mikan Tsumiki... Ultimate Nurse."

"So, don't worry, we can handle ourselves." Chisa said, fist pumped and a determined smile on her face.

No matter what, these students were going to survive. She'd make sure of it.

She then responded to "chunkless". She had no formal idea what it was, but she got the implication.

"I think it's that instead of having all of Hope's Peak come to here, it's just us six. Though I wonder why he only picked us..." Chisa said.

Of course, there was no way of her knowing why The Cure would only bring a small portion of the class. Perhaps he knew something they didn't?

"Maybe it's that the six of us were the ones that could handle ourselves here? I don't mean to bring any of the class down, but someone like Nagito or Ibuki probably wouldn't be of much in a combat scenario." "Well, maybe not Ibuki" Peko thought. Nagito would do something that would likely mystify even The Cure, so perhaps he didn't want to deal with him.

"Then why would I be here?" Chiaki wondered. Fighting games only translate so much into actual skill.

But it does seem they were offered lodging here. Seems like a good plan, and they seemed nice enough. Besides, their classroom was no place to sleep.

"We would love to!" said Chisa.

Sonia, practically a kid in a candy store at this point, stared at Nero's arm with impressed fascination.

"Wow..."

"Ah, thanks. It's nice to know that this place isn't as much of a bloodbath as The Cure implied." Sonia said for the class.

It seemed she was also a magic user. Sonia, like with all the occult stuff so far, was amazed.

"Order of Ecclesia..." She never heard anything like that name before. Must be another world thing.

Hazama/Relius/Makoto Nanaya- Common Room

A severed head was never a good omen.

Thankfully, Hazama always liked bad omens. But he kept quiet, watching the scene with interest.

Relius found it barbaric, but was interested in the glowing hand mark this girl was wearing.

Makoto, meanwhile, was more than a little disgusted, adverting her glance from that direction, she noticed Relius and Hazama's odd interest.

She concluded that, if they tried anything, she'd be the one stopping them.

For now, she'd lay low. She'll get in touch with Ritsuka later. And with that, she eavesdropped.

Seemed this city... Fuyuki, or at least a Fuyuki, was being held hostage for someone's suicide attempt, and a place named Santa Destroy had assassins. It also seemed The Cure did not take affronts to him well. Something this secret agent-looking dude said caught her ear as well

Heroes Never Die... In the spiritual sense? or something else...

That wasn't the important thing, though. She wondered what would become of that city now. The last thing she'd want is another Ikaruga outside of their world.

Makoto was not obvious about her eavesdropping, but those who knew what to look for in an eavesdropper might be able to tell.

Genosha Palace, Magnus' Office: Progressive Immigration Policy, Just What You Look For in An Online RP! [lol]

The Mutant King remained silent, nodding to affirm his guest held at least part of his attention. Truth be told, Magnus was exploring an answer to that problem himself. Not from the same need as the Underground, and undoubtedly by different means, but the question of "how to integrate with these troublesome neighbors" had been a persistent sore since Genosha's arrival.

Tomorrow, at least, he'd get rid of the first pest.

"That's a difficult problem." Magnus agreed once Asgore finished speaking. "I would extend an invitation to immigrate to Genosha, though I suspect travel would be rather challenging."

He rested a hand under his chin, the way he did in his private chess games against himself.

"Foreign aircraft might be considered hostile over several states, especially Outworld. I may be able to send a few ships to the Underground's shore, but Lorna has warned me of a new state claiming to have one of "the largest naval presences," or something to that effect. Should they prove to be as Imperialistic as my daughter suspects them to be, well...I would rather not risk it."

Magnus twitched his lips to the side, then looked once more to the Monster King.

"Forgive me, Your Grace, but I spend little time in the so-called 'Common Room.' My responsibilities demand that I stay here, which has limited my knowledge of Battleworld's current geography. Exactly which states currently border the Underground? Has Your Grace reached out to them?"

Genosha Palace, Near Medical Ward: Heading to The Doll House

At another time, the mention of Yin's tears would've seized Mao's full attention. Making some small decisions (while impressive) was one thing, but expressing an emotion like that was something very different. He would've been torn, half wondering how a Doll still had the capacity to feel, and half shocked that Yin bothered to cry for him of all people. He probably would've been speechless, a cat who's tongue was caught by someone else.

But another comment kept him from stuttering. After Asriel's explanation, the children would hear the growing growl of a very unhappy kitty.

"That stupid stupid girl!" roared Mao. "Amber must've taken her, there's no one else who would've bothered. She's probably got her locked up in one of those pods with the other Dolls, acting as part of her damn—"

Mao stopped. The Dolls he'd seen yesterday in those pods...they weren't locked up anymore! He saw them, maybe all of them, back in the med. ward when he woke up!

"Something's wrong." Mao said to himself more than to the boys. Joined by some swift jingling from his bell collar, the cat dashed for the medical ward like a rat had run inside.

Genosha Palace, West Wing: Oh, That's Just CLASSIC Him! (a.k.a. Child Ex Machina)

Wanda's rage only grew with Pyrhha's answer. It might not have been directed at the Hunters, but there was no helping how the air surrounding them seemed to shift, building with something...unpleasant. Perhaps that was just Wanda's royal charisma.

Jaune's final comment made a figurative spark in the energized air, accompanied with a look from the princess that seemed to say "you don't really understand women, do you?"

Then, with a deep meditative sigh, the air pressure vanished. Wanda opened her eyes with a stern, yet not malicious look. Even that began to crumble when a familiar high-pitched cry rang from down the hall.

"MOMMYYYYYYYY! I did it! I made Mister Wompers REEEEEAL!"

A little boy—more casually dressed than the speedster from before— rushed past the Hunters to clutch his mother's hand in a joyful hopping dance.

"I DID IT! I DID IT!"

"Inside voice, Billy!" Wanda hushed as her son began tugging her arm further down the hall.

"Sorry," Wanda said to the investigators. It seemed strange to apologize for her boys' behavior ten minutes apart from one another; usually she just spoke for both of them at once!

"I suggest you go see Sonya." the princess offered over her shoulder. "She should be in the medical ward. Long black hair, chestnut brown eyes. Tell her I—Billy, stop that!—tell her I say hello!"

Genosha Palace, Approaching Medical Ward (Ren and Nora): Three Threads Conjoin to Make Some Important Progress

Leaving S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ, the two Hunters would find the same crowds and circumstances that their teammates had crossed by not much earlier. Once at Genosha's Palace, they'd have an easy time maneuvering around the busy servants and caterers to head for the place they'd seen the day before.

Inside—assuming Jaune and Pyrhha didn't beat them first—they'd find two rows of hospital beds hugging the antechamber walls. About a dozen expressionless men and women lay on the elevated mattresses, I Vs and food tubes sustaining them like the vegetables they seemed to be.

Oddly enough, they were not alone: a boy in a cape and mask, another creature that seemed like the cross between a goat and a child, and the black cat from yesterday were inside the medical ward as well.

Then something stranger happened: the cat from yesterday began to talk.

"Amber used these Dolls as some sort of surveillance system. My Tokyo's supposed to have one just like it, so she must've built something similar to combat theirs. I saw the condition these machines put Dolls in when we moved here. It's not pretty. I wanted to get away from Amber, so I had Yin come with me to...well, it's not like I could open doors or anything."

The cat turned to one of the hospital beds, examining the medical chart at the foot as if it might provide some clue. It didn't.

"Dolls don't come cheap, so I can't believe Amber gave up her surveillance system willingly. Something must've happened when I was out. Something that made this complex system a liability."

He leaped onto the mattress and turned to face his listeners. In doing so, he caught his first look at the unintended listeners.

"So before we—!"

The cat's hairs jumped on end as a shiver of fear ran through him.

Was it just nerves? Did this secret really need to be kept anymore? Before he could ponder those questions his eyes caught sight of Damian again and the answer hit him like a ton of bricks.

Yes. Yes it did.

Standing on the mattress like an actor who forgot his lines, the professional infiltrator turned to the only card he could play.

"...meow?"

Common room

Fuck yeah. Big bad ass and armored in the UAA, that would be the shit.

"Sure, we got some paphlets here or something."

As Mask got looking around his booth, realizing he actually didn't know where anything was at, some guys in grey hazmat suits from the UAA came up with two refrigeration units. They were quickly followed by some crying girls and some white guy in a suit. He was already dealing with a customer, but looked like girl was needing priority with the water works and shit.

The new comers may be surprised to find that the young man watching the booth was invisible, at least his physical body. Clothes floated in the air in the obvious outline of a man. Ripped jeans, worn sneakers, a black t-shirt with the words KEINE HELDEN MEHR outline in yellow and flourished with stars, fingerless gloves, black rimmed rectangular glasses, a black cap with the words ''SUICIDAL BALCONIES", and a black bandanna with the bottom part of a skull covered the lower half of his face. The guy was apprently something of a punk.

He looked at the girls silently for a moment. This was certainly different. Its not like he got alot of crying girls like this in his store. He also had to consider whether leaving Eddie Riggs to continue playing would offensive or not. It didn't really mesh with the mood. But its not like he had some dramatic sad music to play. Besides this was his offering to the man, the legend, Eddie Riggs. This was one of the last songs he wrote. Word was he recorded this when he crossed into Cairo to challenge the vampire lord there. Then again, word was the guy did push ups with his man hood, so its not like you can believe everything you hear.

It seemed while he was all busy thinking and shit, the suit went and told the story. But that was just the abridged version. These girls had to hear the whole story. The Mask version of the stroy.

"So check it, this girl here comes into the common room, she's all like Yo what up? Names saber. King of Fuyuki. And everyone like sure, whatever. But then she goes, Psyche, I'm king Arthur bitches. But its Artoria, cause she's a girl and shit. People hearing that went all like whoa, really!? That's cool. but then there were others who were all like, nah man, Arthur was a dude. So she went Fuck that noise. I'm OG King Arthur and I'm gonna prove it.

So she enters this tournament right? Just starts kicking everyone's fucking ass with this invisible sword. But she must of realized that people be wondering what the sword looks like cause she goes all alright, just a peek though. So she shows her sword and wouldn't you know if it ain't the most fucking beautiful slab of steel you ever seen. It was like staring at the dick of God. But just a peek. I mean you would go blind staring at that shit too long.

Man, I think we got some footage..."

The invisible man paused his story to look at the tv at the booth. On the screen was footage of a giant mech punching an AT-AT in the face as a war carried put around them.

"Aww. This shits on loop. Stick around I'm sure it will pop up again.

Anyway, Artoria beats this cyborg samurai dude and wins the tournament. Prize is a wish, so she wishes in her home boy Lancelot. Two of them going to double team this bitch and take Battleworld by storm like a couple of bosses.

'Cept they never do. We get left hanging. Even when the evil space wizard emperor dick head shows up, and people be placing bets on whether Artoria going smack a bitch and put him in his place or not, nothing happens. Figure, must be busy or some shit. Is what it is.

But then come morning its like, oh shit. Is that Alice with Artoria and Sir Mixalot's head!? That's some crazy shit. Its like, what happened? All this be taking place off camera, so we don't know.

Alice just all like. I got these heads Cure and he's all like I don't care then she's all like Well fuck you Cure! and goes off, cutting off her arms and opening her stomach and shit. Blood fucking everywhere. But then the cure is all like nah man, fuck you Alice and just reverses that shit. So the cool looking dude there with the mask goes shit that's a bum deal, but I got 99 problems that need solving. You in? and she's like Ain't like I got anything else planned and goes into that portal start some Che shit.

Anyway, moral of the story, you want answers, go ask Alice. Its like Jefferson Airplane said. Everything else is just speculation unless you know someone else who was there."

In retrospect, the suit's story may have been more informative. In fact, Mask's story may have made things more confusing. The men in the grey hazmat suits simply stood there, portable refrigerator units in hand, waiting for the mask to sign off on the delivery. The gas masks and suits hid any sign of emotion they may have had. The group would see that the two men were of variable size. One barely stood at five feet, the other just breaking seven. Neither spoke, unlike the talkative invisible man.

"Is what it is. For what its worth, you got my condolences. You knew the deceased?"

He took out more beers and put them on the table, leaving them to be taken or left at their leisure. Not sure if the girls were of age, but he ain't carding. Looked like they could use one though, and he had plenty to spare.

"Shit, if that so, I think these belong to you then."

The invisible man went to reach for the units to give to the girls when the suit made his comment. The trio of non combatant UAA employees turned to look at bond. The cleaners gas masks hid any reaction they had to the threat. The invisible man, even with no visible facial features would be able to convey his mind set well enough. He shrugged with the a gesture that seemed to say WTF. Why you trying to start shit? You know you in the common room and can't do shit. Its not like Mask was going to fight him even if he could, its just why you gotta be a dick about it suit?

It did make them reconsider. This guy was the same dude who spent the last twenty minutes or so arguing with the boss lady, and here he was threatening them and shit. Ain't good to get in trouble with the higher ups, even if it was a temp gig for a guy like Mask. On the other hand, its not like guy had anything really to do with crying girls.

Meanwhile, the French accented woman watched as the Scot excused himself from yet another conversation. If she didn't know any better she would think the man was running away from her. This samurai saber seemed to say some funny things. Heroes never die? What a laugh. As Sylvia spoke, her voice took on a sleepy tone, as if reciting some passage of poetry aloud rather then actually talking to the girl.

"There are no more heroes. In fact there never were any to begin with. The hero of one story was simply the villain of another. One nations hero was the dreaded to their enemies. All were just glorified killers, praised through song as sins and blood was hidden between prose. The only thing deciding who plays the hero and who the villain was the perspective the tale is told. And since history is told by the victor, it means the only thing that determines a hero, is winning."

She turned to look at the samurai girl with the last word. She was able to feel the hostility the samurai girl was giving off despite her discipline. She tried to meet Saber's gaze, as if saying the UAA was more then willing to meet the challenge.

So this chunk was similar to Fuyuki. Why was she not surprised the useless looking one was the master. She wondered how far the similarities go. From what she heard, Fuyuki was so much like Santa Destroy it was positively hilarious. Sure, their Holy Grail War was hidden from the public, much like the UAA in the old days, and their ranks included such names as Artoria. But in essence, it was exactly the same. Kill or be killed. Each murdering the others to achieve their own selfish goals. All they were missing was a ranking system. Slay all challengers and take thy throne upon the mountain of corpses. All hail the Crownless King, she mused to herself.

The previous Saber revealed herself to be none other then king Arthur. Does that mean this Saber too was someone of legend? No blonde samurai girls come to mind, but then Artoria herself came with something of a twist to her story.

"Aku soku zan...that was an old Shensengumi motto, wasn't it?"

The woman's green eyes narrowed as she tried to garner the woman's reaction. Her lips curled into a playful smile, one much like the one she had with the secret agent.

"Its a strange thing for a samurai to say. What use is the concept of good and evil when a samurai need only to know the will of one's master. But then, the Shensengumi killed its leader right? Betrayed and murdered him. What right does unloyal killer dogs have to speak anything about evil?"

She stared at the samurai the entire time. Trying to get a reaction and see if she could narrow down her possible identity. Then a familiar voice gave the woman a start. She turned around to see that woman there. Out every person on Battleword, with perhaps exception of the Cure, she was the one Sylvia was most wary of. Sylvia looked at the Weller silently a moment, trying to figure out what it was the woman wanted with her before putting on a professional smile for appearances.

"Ofcourse, Ms Weller. Shall we proceed to one of conference rooms here?"

There was no way she was going outside the common room's pacification field with her. Unlike Bond, Weller seemed the type to not tip her hand until the bullet was already lodged into the back of her skull. Lucky the distraction of the Samurai girl's possible identity and the sudden appearance of Waller allowed Bond's threat to her employees slip her notice.

Before heading off with Waller, Sylvia turned back to the Samurai one last time. All smile and artificial friendliness.

"You should come visit Santa Destroy some time. We got a famous Japanese director staying with us who directed a number of samurai movies. I am sure he would love to meet a real life samurai and get her opinion on his take on the genre. If you get the chance, see 13 Assassins. Its really good. In that one...the assassins are the heroes."

Rin, Race to the Koish
With an indeterminate amount of time and space left between her and the inspirationally disadvantaged girl of her dreams, Rin was having to keep pace while tailing the roundabout and strange path that Skelter took. She took another look at Shake as he took a look at her, with the machine disrupting the driving of...oh hell, White guy turned into some place! Koishi, wait a second! Rin's coming!

Trying to push herself that extra foot she needed, Rin exerted whatever invisible muscle it took to go just that much further! She was about to reach the mall, with the distance between her and Shake growing...

Rin overshot it! Just like that, the extra speed proved a disadvantage, and even whatever magical forces she was working with obeyed momentum! She dropped herself low, skidding to a halt right outside the mall doors...

Koishi, Race to the Consumption of Mass-Produced Media
Upon the pained, desperate declaration of love from this person who Koishi had only just met, the non-existent mind she had was briefly puzzled. She stared at him as he slumped on the floor, blindly and obliviously happy.

How do you respond to this? What do people say to that kind of thing? Koishi honestly had very little recollection of anything involving the words "I love you," mostly from Okuu when she was in a hugging kind of mood, but then how was she supposed to reciprocate? Was she even supposed to reciprocate?! How do you even SPELL reciprocate??? The younger satori did, eventually find a simple answer.

"Hey, hey," she said, leaning down to him. She tilted her head, and with a big, wide, innocent grin, she told him "I don't! Have a good day!"

With that, she trotted off to Ryuji's side again, a couple DVDs that just happened to find their way under her arms in tow. Or at least, she would if Ryuji wasn't about to battle a guy with a...wait, what was this cat doing here?

Was he lost? She'd never seen him before...

Was that cat with a wheelbarrow...wait, that's a cat she knew! "Rin!"

Rin & Koishi's Reunite Knight, Santa Destroy Mall
As Rin tried to stop herself, she finally got a view of her target. Koishi wasn't hurt, or on fire, and she didn't seem to have angered anyone! All she had to do was—OH SHIT

That distraction proved a grave mistake! Finally fully stopped, that remaining momentum caused her wheelbarrow to tip over!

All in one big clattering of metal crashing on the ground, suddenly Rin's precious cargo saw the light of day. Gold bullion, bars as thick as your forearm, each glittering in the mid-day sun...also a dead guy, but that wasn't as important.

Suddenly, with a crossroads between immediately grabbing Koishi and running, and trying to recover the lost payment (and Koishi not helping by just waving at her) Rin was paralyzed with indecision, just for a brief moment...

Yuugi, The Red Sprite
Yuugi's grump slump was only disturbed by the lightest of pats. There probably were lighter pats out there, but in true oni fashion you usually don't get anything less than a firm slap from your compatriots. One eye shot open, first darting to Mono, but quickly heading back when she realized she passed over—

"Tatsu." She opened both eyes, but right now she wasn't one to mince words, so her serious face remained. "I will be continuing my exploration of the rest of the new world in a little bit, but I wanna know if YOU want to come along! You, and Mono! If either of you won't be seriously inconveniencing the rest of your comrades by leaving right now..."

In just about the most formal way she could manage, Yuugi took a step back and firmly bowed to the both of them. "...then I ask you to take a break with me."

Okita Souji, Common Room

"I'm surprised someone like you know of the Shinsengumi. Our deeds and name have been getting rather popular outside the border of the fatherland in current years at least." Not sure if she should be pleasantly or unpleasantly surprised that the woman had an inkling of her organization, Sakura Saber inclined her head in a nod.

"You'll have to guess who among them I am though, Servants enjoy playing the whole 'guess who am I' game. Might I be Kondo Isami, Hijitaka Toshizo, or maybe even Hajime Saito? Inoue Gaizaburo, Nagakura Shinpachi, Okita Souji, Harada Sanosuke, or Todo Heisuke? I can be any of those people or none at all."

"Heroes have many definitions but all such people with that moniker from our world are known for their deeds, myself included. And Assassins are a Servant Class of course. They make particularly fine Heroes as well." Looking rather amused at those words, Sakura Saber continued to play the game to the best of her abilities... even if the next statement set her blood a boiling. Still, she was known for her coldness and no matter how hot she was inside, her outer self was like arctic frost.

"Hm hm, you ask that as though you yourself wouldn't betray whoever employs you if you got the better deal. Mind games won't work on those who walked the path of shadows like I. Aku soku zan does not discriminate, all evil shall be cut down regardless of ties." Giving an apathetic shrug to those stinging words with a pitying sneer, Okita simply turned her back away from the woman who was now going off with her opposite in many ways. "And I'll think about it. My services aren't cheap."

Still, the very fact that her eyes were narrowed to such a degree that it resembled glinting razors showed that Sylvia had succeeded in agitating the woman. At the very least from this position the representative couldn't see her irateness. Self discipline and pride though erased all tells besides the narrowing of the eyes, though this meant that anyone looking from the other side of the room would be able to see this intense facial molding. Deciding it was high time to finally enjoy herself (especially after that bout of unpleasantness), Okita would step through the portal to the Sakura Dungeon and disappear to the other side.

Ritsuka and Co, Santa Destroy Info Booth, Common Room

Heaving and looking like she was doing her impression of a fish trying to breathe on dry land, Ritsuka's energetically flailing self slowly wound down from her earlier excitement, the gleam in her eye stabilizing from frantic excitement to the calm of a magus who knows what she wants and what she would do to get her desire. "My... Chunk... probably has the closest they'll ever get to a next of kin."

Glancing at Mash who was looking rather conflicted at the sight, the Master sighed and tapped at the girl holding her, indicating she was now of sound mind. This resulted in the discontinuation of bodily entangling, the Master now able to stand on her own two feet once more. "Though... if possible, would you hand those heads over. Out of everyone here in this place, I... have had dealings with these people, even if they were alternate versions. At least let me give them dignity after they have passed."

What happened next was rather unexpected, snagging a beer and downing at the shock of the Shielder at her side before plunking the bottle down and then letting her body fall to its knees once more. Holding up a hand to prevent Mash from rushing in to help her up, the Master would then bow down with her forehead right on the ground and her palms level, posture shameless and subservient. "Please, hand over the heads." The bespectabled girl at her side was actively biting her lip, warring with herself whether or not she should intervene at the sight of her friend doing such a thing.

The sounds of steps could be heard at yet another person emerged from the portal connecting to Chaldea, belonging to a redhaired man with a particularly intensity to his self. Though he was average of height and physique looked nothing too eye catching, the face that looked as though it was etched with swords was particularly eye catching as was the fact his attire looked like he belonged to the Triads much like how Kintoki looked like he was of the Yakuza..

Glancing at the Master on the floor for a moment with an impassive face, the newcomer simply then turned his sword-like brows towards the invisible man while continuing to look like he was carved from granite. "I've heard about your place. It is violent and men can lose their life as easily as a fruit getting plucked." The man stated in a tone that was neither too relaxed or too tense, at just the right tempo that it elicited a certain amount of manly charm.

"Sign me up for that. Betting one's life and fighting to the death... that is how you can continue to further yourself. It is a hell just for one such as I. Though I might be a Lancer right now, Assassin is still a Class I can qualify under. Show me what this Santa Destroy has to offer. I'll bet my life and my head like I've always done, is that a good enough payment?" The esoteric Chinese folk hero asked, facial expression changing just enough to bare his teeth in a mockery of an easy going grin.

It was something that belonged on those who could be deemed manic, and it was clear that the man was in a roundabout and strange way, caring for his Master in a manner that would suit his particular skillset best. Li Shuwen was a man that had few friends and more often than not would aggravate people with his particularly standoffish attitude, leading to no small headaches for Chaldea as he challenged people the death battles.

"I want to see how capable the fighters from your land can be if they managed to take down an alternate version of Arturia... They must definitely be worth something if they could deal the killing blow. How many people do I have to engage in a bout with to meet this... Alice Moonlight?" A truly predatory smile bloomed out, turning the somber man into something akin to a hungry tiger that had caught sight of fresh meat. Truly, the best way to use such a loaded man was to send him to a place where his ideals could be accepted and where his killing of people could be used to garner benefits.

Chaldea

Leonardo Da Vinci facepalmed at the hotheadedness displayed by the Chinese martial artist as he all but walked into the den of vipers willingly to get what he wanted. Still, there could be at least some usage out of such selfishness and the woman had let him go after grilling him on his objectives. Information retrieval and Chunk threat scoping was definitely high on the list, though their liberal nature of allowing anyone interested in staking their lives worked to their advantage. "I just hope things don't all go to pot." Massaging her brow, the genius continued to compile and streamline what she knew thanks to the recording technology centered over Ritsuka's form.

Sakura Dungeon

"Gunner is a much rarer Class and very few Heroes can qualify for that set of parameters since the majority of us aren't used to wielding firearms and very few Heroes are recognized among those that do use it. Like I said the system is crock and is in dire need of an update. I demand a patch!" Shaking her clenched fist theatrically, Nobu nevertheless smiled as she took in people's reaction to her eccentricity. "And I love getting people all hot and bothered, it's fun seeing such expressions."

"I hail from an island nation of Japan, though I'm used to two vastly different sides of that country due to temporal hijinks. The Japan I personally knew of was cloistered in the middle of an ocean, neighboring a large country that went by the name of China. We were known to be isolationist at the time and I lived in an era where wars constantly bloomed like bamboo after the rain, I believe it was called the Sengoku period by the future people. You're probably from a thing that shares a few qualities of Japan in general since the multiverse is nothing if not consistent like what media shows. Is it an island nation to the far east? In general such places enjoy eating rice with chopsticks, katanas, kimonos, cherry blossoms, sake, etc." Looking thoughtfully at Yomi's attire compared to just about everyone else's, Nobu mirked.

"Fighting between provinces were something that would happen all the time, the whole country divided by nearsighted fools who bid for grandeur at the cost of their people. I took up arms and joined the fight myself, though I doubt any of you would want to hear such a boring story of my golden days." Waving off the part where she talked about the good old days and bored people to death by that overused trope, Nobu then went on her description.

"My birthplace was in the Owari province, which is known for its trade and bustle. I made sure of that really since it was the one place where the Europeans could offload their goods without being looked at funny, at least as much as the other areas. That was how I got my guns after all. Place had a lot of natural water ways and harbors so you could see ships a sailing in the more populated parts. I liked it, was like a personal carnival that always brought something new." There was much love in her voice as she remembered the past county, which had now changed in the future.

"Nowadays though Japan is known for being a leader in cutting edge technology as well a a court system biased against those on defense, steep population decline, anime, a horrible work culture, video games, illustrated pornography, and a lot of weird shit pardon my wording." Turning her head to look at Nero's picture of Lady and all her guns, Nobu gave a wolf whistle as she admired the view in more ways than one. "Man, those are some rather nice... guns. I wouldn't mind meeting her to talk shop, I was one of the few advocates of firearms back in the day as well." Though the majority of her attention was on the firearms in general, sometimes her eyes would flit about to take in other... features.

It was at this sight that Sakura Saber would come to when she made it through the portal to the Sakura Dungeon, which simply drew out an exasperated sigh as she went forward and bonked the smaller woman on the head. "Please don't scandalize the good people about... in fact, she didn't already do that, right?" Looking rather nonplussed and somehow amused, her earlier bad mood was now greatly soothed at the sight of Nobu being Nobu as was evidenced by the fact her steely glare was now replaced with warm amusement. The great demon king however simply pouted and folded up her arms, sulking like a kid.
