Hi. Hopefully I won't fuck things up this time.

  • The Gang:
    • Name: Lust
    • Age: Unknown
    • Appearance: In the words of the author, 'women should be vavoom!'
    • Personality: A personification of the sin itself, Lust is calm, cool, and always seemingly in control. She rarely raises her voice or does anything harsher than frowning when expressing her anger. Much like her brethren, Lust has a distaste for humankind and has a nasty tendency to express a... 'wilder' side to herself when the idea of killing the particularly pesky ones comes to her mind.
    • Powers: Lust wields the Ultimate Spear: her nails have the ability to extend and retract at will, usually growing long enough to cover the span of a normal room- hence the spear comparison. They're sharp, they're fast, and they have the strength of iron spears (plus their speed, which means plenty of opportunities to abuse that precious 'retracting the spear back into her fingers' time). Also, like her brothers, Lust has minor regenerative skills, enough to cure minor wounds.
    • Equipment: Have you seen her pair of lovely eyes?
    • Backstory: The sin of 'Lust' given form, Lust is one of the three homunculi who actually seems to follow some kind of plan and who has more than one dimension to their (superficial) personality. As such, most of the time, she plays second fiddle, choosing to stay on the background manipulating people or sending her close friend to do the dirty work for her. His name is...

    • Name: Gluttony
    • Age: Unknown
    • Appearance: I mean, pretty straightforward.
    • Personality: A well-meaning idiot, Gluttony seems to have no capability of thinking by himself, often relying on Lust to give him orders. He has a general naive attitude and child-like wonder at the world around him, and he has gone so far as to not attack the good guys when they just asked him not to and made a good point as to why he should lead them to the home of his boss. As it turns out, not much space for hatred when you don't have any brains at all.
    • Powers: Gluttony has the fitting power of the Imperfect Gate, which manifests itself in two ways. First, he is capable of eating anything, although he only seems to care about eating fleshy human things (his mouth is pretty big too). And second, when he is really pissed off (which has only happened after he met the man who really wounded Lust), he has the ability to open up a second mouth on his stomach that sucks everything in a straight path in front of him. If you're (un)lucky enough to be caught by his Imperfect Gate, you'll get sent into this dimension that's essentially one never-ending ceiling-less room, where the floor is apparently covered in a pool of blood. Luckily, escape is at hand: all you need to do is either cause a sizable enough explosion or fly towards the top as fast as you can, ignoring all the creepy stuff you hear. Much like his brothers (and sister), Gluttony has minor regenerative abilities.
    • Equipment: Have you seen that stomach?
    • Backstory: Gluttony is a very simple-minded artificial guy, often content with just following Lust's orders and getting the occasional meal now and then. He likes to hang around places and put his finger inside his mouth, like the big baby he is. The only person who seems to like making fun of his big-baby-ness is...

    • Name: Envy
    • Age: Unknown
    • Appearance: No, I don't know its gender. Not even he knows it. Kinda funny how she's like that.
    • Personality: A more appropriate name for Envy would be 'Sadism', because although all of the homunculi think nothing of humans, Envy is the only one who is downright vocal and active about his full-on hatred of humans. If there is an opportunity to be pointlessly evil, Envy will do it. If he's about to finish his mission but there's a crying child he can punt off a cliff, Envy will do it. Why? Clearly because he's very superior to them and humans are like ants to him. He doesn't like to be defied or denied or made fun of- especially with his hair. Some would (accurately) describe him as a 'little punk-ass bitch'.
    • Powers: Envy has the ability to shapeshift. He can use this to mimic other people to a T, but that's only on the visual department- he still can't read their minds, so he relies on information he already knows. He can also modify parts of his body into weapons (one of his favorite being arm-into-blade). Apart from that, Envy has nothing else up his sleeve. Add that to the fact he's still as squishy as a normal human, and this homunculus has a tendency to get punched in the face. To compensate that, the powers that be have decided to give him the ability to regenerate limbs... albeit slowly and very, very, very painfully.
    • Equipment: Have you seen those thighs?
    • Backstory: If there's a dirty deed that needs to be committed by the homunculi, then Envy will probably be the one pulling the trigger (metaphorically and literally). His love of hating humans has made him perfect for missions which revolve around killing, stalking, preying or pushing people to kill other people. I'm gonna be honest here: Envy thinks he's hot shit, but he's really not. He might try to stand against the other homunculi, but he'll eventually back down. And nobody loves abusing that more than...

    • Name: Greed
    • Age: Unknown
    • Appearance: Sunglasses are a part of a complete package.
    • Personality: Greed is such a perfect personification of his sin that he is the only homunculi that has ever gone against its creator. The matter of the fact is... Greed is just too greedy. He wants everything- in his own words, 'all the power, the money and the women in the world'- and he's not gonna stop for anyone to play catch up. Extremely independent, you'd think this guy is prime material for a killer, but as it turns out, he has come to realize that getting to the top of the world is no fun if you're just going to backstab everyone along the way. You could even say he has a heart and cares about people... if you want him to wipe that stupid grin off your face, that is.
    • Powers: His power is the Ultimate Shield, which is essentially a sort of portable metal armor. At will, Greed can cover his entire body (or parts of it) in a metal which simulates an armor. It makes him more resistant and makes his punches have more bite to it, but like all armor, it's not impenetrable. One could just punch him hard enough or find a way to alter the composition of the armor (you'd have to be really smart and really short for that, though). Also, for all intents and purposes, Greed is so vain and so focused on his looks that he would rather die than cover up his own face, even though it could save his life. Not joking. This is how he died. The armor also makes him very heavy and slows him down. In other words, it's armor! Who would have guessed? Much like his brothers and sister (unfortunately), Greed has minor regenerative abilities.
    • Equipment: Have you seen those teeth?
    • Backstory: Created to be the bodyguard of his creator, Greed eventually decided to strike out on his own in the form of creating a club and deciding to rule the underworld of a random town. He really doesn't like being associated with the homunculi or showing off his powers, so the cover of a mob boss was perfect for him. And he would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for that meddling Cure- although he'll most likely immediately go off his own way and start another club, which sounds like too much work for...

    • Name: Sloth
    • Age: Unknown
    • Appearance: You're a big guy.
    • Personality: Sloth is gigantic. He's probably the strongest homunculus in the group. He's also a lazy motherfucker. By the way, whatever you're picturing right now? Not lazy enough. Sloth is so lazy that if you don't tell him to do something, he won't do anything. Gluttony will at least follow someone or just hang around. Not Sloth. He will literally sit his giant ass on the ground and snooze. He likes to do that a lot. We don't know if it's because he's really dumb or all that mass is tiring him out. Whatever the reasoning, his personality can be described as 'will do whatever the person commanding him asks. What a pain.'
    • Powers: Sloth is super big and very strong, capable of digging a really huge tunnel and punching a car away... and that's about it. There's no catch to it, no secret super-power- in fact, there's a theory his strength comes from the fact that he's just big, and not that he's a homunculus. He's very heavy and very easily bored. Much like his brothers and sister, he also has... minor... regenerative ab— zzzzzz.
    • Equipment Have you heard those snores?
    • Backstory: Um... he's still sleeping. Should we wake him up? Better not. The orders are just to let him stay there until we need him for something, and you don't want to contradict...

    • Name: Wrath
    • Age: 70ish (what a change of pace!)
    • Appearance: Happy grandpa.
    • Personality: Actually, unlike his namesake, Wrath is a very controlled person. Remember those three 'capable of thinking things out' homunculi I mentioned up there? Wrath is one of those. And that came after years of training and developing his amazing self-control, which has given him an immeasurable ability: the two-face switch. What that means is that Wrath is capable of going from his warm, grandpa-like, 'badass yet lovable' leader routine to his true facade of a cold, murderous shell of a man, who more often than not will glower at you as he drives a sword through your neck... before switching right back.
    • Powers: Wrath is just good with swords. So there's this whole thing with his Ultimate Eye that I'm just gonna remove for the sake of not giving everyone a headache. He's just good with swords, knifes, and other blade-like objects and has a cool eye.
    • Equipment: Have you seen those swords?
    • Backstory: Wrath is an unique specimen in that he wasn't created. Instead, he was born, as a full-fledged human. His life was planned out for him to become the leader of his nation. He was put through the toughest tests and the worst of hardships, eventually coming out on top of a selection process meant to create the first human-based homunculus, and the man responsible for putting the creator's operation into high gear. Although he has all of these responsibilities, Wrath answers to one person, and that's...

    • Name: Pride
    • Age: 12. Trust me. Thousands years old.
    • Appearance: Would I lie?
    • Personality: The second-in-command, Pride may look like a child (and is very capable of acting like one), but he is perhaps the most dangerous of all of the homunculi due to the fact that he has seen so much and done such heinous things that (almost) nothing in this world is capable of eliciting a reaction from him. Even in the face of a truly surprising and unexpected attack, Pride will not drop his serene smile and content facade, no matter what, for he knows that you are ephemeral- and he is a constant in this universe.
    • Powers: A proud user of shadow manipulation, Pride is capable of controlling the shadows around his area to perform quite a variety of tricks. He can use them as blades, weapons, extended ears, megaphones, and even have them manipulate inanimate objects. However, this has its problems. Pride has to be present in the vicinity to use his shadows, and since his body is that of a small child, that isn't exactly the most inconspicuous. Any kind of bright light or deep darkness can make him instantly powerless, and although he can extend his ears and mouth through the shadows, he can't do it for his eyes (you can do a lot against a guy who can hear you but not see you). Much like his brothers and sister, Pride has regenerative abilities.
    • Equipment: Have you seen that smile?
    • Backstory: The first homunculus, Pride is (ironically, I guess?) the older brother to all of the homunculi, and as such, the most likely to make decisions in the absence of their creator. Although he has spent most of his life in the guise of a small child, he still has enough weight to throw around when it comes time to order his brethren to do something. Expect him to lead the group in this brand new (battle)world, although chances are you'll most likely end up meeting first... and at this point you go back to the beginning.

So in the interest of getting back fully into Battleworld, I'll be switching out Mahora for Hades once again. And I'll also be picking up the Arad Explorers for my Chunkless after dropping Ranma, I guess.

Arad Explorer's Main Character

  • Name: Baron Abel
  • Age: Early twenties
  • Appearance: “With each stroke, my sword paints the vast sky red... Perhaps this will be my masterpiece.”
  • Personality: A forward and courageous young man who has a lot on his shoulders due to the demon sealed in his arm, Baron is someone who wishes to do right by the world with a resolve harder than the mystic chains that binds the demon itself. Though he can be somewhat moody due to the ever pain inflicted from Kazan, the Slayer in question often tries to make light of the dire situation placed on him in order to not worry others. He has a great amount of empathy towards people who are controlled by outside forces and wishes to rid the world of the demonic parasites so that none may suffer as he did and his ability to resist temptation is incredibly fierce due to how he puts up with the mental tortures he's experienced for the better half of his life.
  • Powers: Baron is a physically superhuman swordsman, one who trained to get his current abilities not by relying on demonic influence but by further sealing it away and turning handicap into ability. Mastering the five styles of swordsmanship consisting of Katana, Bludgeon, Short Sword, Zanbato, and Lightsabres, Baron has the means to deal with the situation as he pleases. Trained to be able to wield two-handed swords with a single arm and be able to cut through solid rock and steel, his effectiveness is enhanced even further by the graceful fluidity of his strikes and footwork that allows him to slide across the battlefield in the blink of an eye- making for both a powerful and crafty combatant.
    • Baron's mastery over the sword has reached such a pinnacle level of skill that besides being able to cut iron and instantly switch weapons in the blink of an eye, the man is able to even shoot forth shockwaves, sword beams, and solidify sword intent into real swords for his more powerful attacks. Using the different Slayer weapons result in different supernatural abilities with zanbatos being able to cause vacuums to draw in the enemy as well as crater the ground, katanas being able to deal special injuries to the opponents called Signature Wounds that allows for a secondary explosive effect upon the successful deliverance of a deep wound, short swords can shoot out spirit sword auras, bludgeons being able to grievous blunt trauma via small shockwaves, and lightsabres can electrically shock the enemy upon a direct hit with their bodies. Baron's ultimate techniques enable him to summon and materialize anywhere from twenty four to forty illusionary but corporeal swords to rain down on enemies as well as telepathically fling swords around at high speeds before exploding them.
  • Equipment: Baron is equipped with everything an adventurer needs for his travels- rations, camping supplies, miscellaneous belongings, and... swords. Lots and lots of swords. The man carries around on his person two lightsabres, two katanas, a short sword, a zanbato, and a bludgeon of acceptable quality and materials. Oddly enough he can keep his swords in a weird personal space that foregoes the need to physically carry them around except for the one he has on his person at the moment. He also wears light armor that somewhat protects him from bladed attacks as well as provide ease of movement.
  • Backstory: Baron was once a simple youth from the country side that lived an ordinary civilian lifestyle with his parents carefree and sleepy. That all changed though when the young boy was chosen by the various fragments of the demon Kazan as a host body and gained the Ghost Arm via Kazan Syndrome, a phenomenon whereupon the evil will of the demon nested inside the limb to parasitize the vessel and influence them towards the darker paths. Blanking out after the initial exposure to the outbreak, when he came to the future Slayer discovered to his horror that Kazan Syndrome had made him murder his own parents in a fit of berserk bloodlust. Crippled by guilt and the desire to not cause such harm once more, the boy then set out on a journey after shackling his arm with the mystic chains in a quest to finally rid himself of the demon and to keep the world safe from such outbreaks in atonement.

Other Teammates

  • Name: Ryunmei Ranka
  • Age: Early Twenties
  • Appearance:"My body and soul are one with nature... allowing Nen power to flow through me."
  • Personality: A tough and tomboyish girl that delights in having a strong body along with a strong mind, Ranka is someone that loves to fight the good fight while being smart enough know when to not go overboard in a situation. A woman with wanderlust that aims to prevent sorrows wherever she walks, she is driven by a sense of purpose to lend a hand in accordance with her righteous personality.
  • Powers: Ranka is a Nen Empress, a martial artist that has achieved a perfect synchronization of physical body movement with the powerful inner energy of "Nen". Skilled in various martial arts, she can supplement her splendid physical abilities with Nen energy to perform techniques such as firing off energy blasts from her palms, create physical hardlight copies of herself, generate nen shields and barriers, heal her allies, or even summon light dragons or exploding energy lotuses. Nen energy is innately attributed towards "light" so using some skills can allow her to receive a lot less damage from lasers due to its inherent resistance. The mastery of a Nen Empress can even let off gentle Nen energies from herself to help her allies relax their minds and increase their powers for a limited amount of time or even charge up certain attacks at the cost of staying in place and being unable to counterattack to maximize damage potential such as charging a basic Nen Shot into a much more powerful Nen Cannon or absorbing all the remnant Nen energies discharged onto the battlefield and then compressing it before shooting it back out as a large destructive beam. Despite her abilities geard towards flinging around energy, she's still tough enough to trade blows with the best of them and can smash rocks with her bare hands and throw grown men across rooms with a single arm without having to rely on Nen.
  • Equipment: Ranka is armed with the general necessities for Adventurers as well as a silk dress and carries around a pair of knuckles (padded gloves that protects the fragile hand bones upon impact) and a pair of tonfa.
  • Backstory: Ranka hails from the lands of Suju, a country that borders Arad but is ethnically and culturally different in the same vein as our world's oriental countries differ from the European ones. Growing up wasn't easy for the little girl given that her parents were very poor and couldn't sustain a reliable living environment for all of them so she was sent off with a respectable hermit to train as his pupil in order to survive. As she came back home to greet her parents after being taught the secrets of martial arts and various other subjects, the now young woman found to her shock that said parents had been killed by wandering monsters warped by the Great Metastasis. After a brief bit of wallowing in despair, Ranka then decided to put her teachings to good use and became an adventurer to save others in her wanderings and ensure that no children would lose their parents like she did.

  • Name: Capensis
  • Age: Early twenties.
  • Appearance: "Meet my little friends... they're a blast!"
  • Personality: Cunning and mischievous describes Capensis to a tee, the man being known for his keen wit and trickster personality as much as his ability to get into trouble at the drop of a hat. More pragmatic than the others in his team and willing to do dirty tricks to get what he wants, the man is nevertheless a good comrade and a softie at heart for women and children. He's also rather interested in the opposite gender and has really bad luck in trying to woo them due to his various quirks.
  • Powers: Capensis is a regular human being physically unlike his superhuman teammates. It is his intelligent mind though that gives him the edge in combat against foes armed with superior physiques or supernatural abilities, an intelligence that lets him open portals directly from secret facilities that teleports his various inventions into the battlefield ranging from turrets to exploding toy robots or even a giant mecha fist. He's also a dab hand with various types of firearms, able to quickdraw, snipe, or gun down people with equal measure though he prefers to attack from behind his various robot helpers nowadays.
  • Equipment: Capensis carries around various adventurer items like the others in the party as well as enough heat to make third world countries sweat. His favorite weapons of choice are the auto guns (known as machine pistols to us) for the steady amount of bullets he can fire off to distract the enemies with so his portals can spawn his robot minions. The most common robots the man can summon are the RX-78 Landrunners which aren't armed with any weapons save for a built-in bomb or the Ez-8 Timebombs which are bigger Landrunners that lack the machinery to even move and works more along the lines of a timed charge. Said machines are also slow moving in comparison with the other robots, usually around the level of a basic adult jogging speed. The second most numerous robots are the Sparrows that come from the Sparrow factories, small birdlike drones that can also explode but are weaker damage-wise than the the Ez-8s in exchange for aerial mobility. If the Ex-8s could be regarded as a single stick of dynamite, then the Sparrows can be considered flashbangs.
    • The G Series robots are floating drone-like robots that carry a designation of 1-3 with the letter G before them, each playing different roles. The G-1 Corona shoots electrical energy bolts with the intent of paralyzing enemies with its discharge, the G-2 Rolling Thunder form turns into three laser emitting orbs that can also smash into the enemies at high speeds to maximize damage, and the G-3 Raptor turns into six small orbs that constantly use special magnified lens to turn light into heat beams that will steadily burn away at targets.
    • The various other robots that Capensis can call upon are the Ex-S Viper Zero- an automated turret that fires five rounds of large slugs, the Air Combat Mech Tempester which acts as an impromptu teammate armed with machine guns and small missiles, the HS-1 Friends which summons helicopter like robot heads to coordinate the other robot spawns to keep the creator's hands free, the TX-45 Teammates which can only be constructed after the HS-1 Friends are summoned to have them make them (basically the RX-78 with helicopter propellers, and the TX-80 Dimension Runner which are squat and sturdy humanoid like robot armed with shotgun arms and an electromagnetic field emitter that can thrust back metallic objects at high speeds. The cream of the crop though is the Gaebolg Punch- due to the mecha being so big that the portal can only summon forth enough space to let its fist through. It's stupidly and thickly sturdy and also rocket powered so it can smash things up real good.
  • Backstory: Capensis is a mercenary from Ghent, the Empyrean expy of Australia fused with the Wild West. It is essentially a prison island where unlawful Empyrean citizens were exiled to back in the day and as a result, the current day island country is viewed as unlawful and shady by the mainland across the pond. It was this volatile political climate that led to the rise of the Kartels, an affiliation of various large gangs and militants banded together in hopes of overthrowing the centralized the main Empyrean government so as to let themselves be free from the desert island. It was on one such mission to blow up one of the Kartel's ammo deposits that the gunner found himself surrounded at the top of a cliff before jumping off the geological formation to die on his own terms- only to fall directly through the Sky Ocean and have his fall be broken by a really painful tree upon landing in Arad. After many twists and turns with various adventures under his belt, the naturally crafty sharpshooter soon found hidden the will of the Empyrean hero-inventors of yore dubbed the Seven Machinists and gained the knowledge necessary to become a leading figure in mechanical engineering upon arrival of his home country. Now armed with such great powers under his command, he aims to help end the upheaval in his motherland.

Personality: Naughty and mischievous is this young girl, one who often gets into trouble but in a different manner as Capensis does. Her intelligence is astounding, being able to act as a sort of supercomputer for mathematical formulas needed to craft her magic and her inquisitiveness often leads to her sniffing out secrets that she shouldn't really b able to know. Playful and silly, she doesn't care so much for practicality so much as having fun and her battle style reflects that with all the silly spells she fires off.
  • Powers: A very accomplished witch despite her young age, Ixia is a teen genius and also a bonafide member of the mage societies of Arad as well as a graduate from their universities, being able to write various theses that the older alumni has to take seriously. Her brand of magic focuses on summoning various magical contraptions, flying around on her broomstick while attacking from afar with the elemental magics empowered by her four familiars, and alchemy to enkindle regents into having weird effects on the environment.
    • Her four familiars consist of Pluto (a black cat that represents Darkness), Jack Frost (a snowman representing Water), Jack O'Lantern (represents fire), and Florae (a weird rabbit snake sprite thing representing Light). They can switch from their small forms to their humanoid homonculus form on the fly and to help with some of Ixia's special attacks. By drawing off of her familiars and using them as a catalyst, the witch can do things like throw fireballs or enchant her broomstick with icy powders has freezes substances on contact.
    • Her eccentricity knows no bounds considering her skills can summon things like a miniature volcano fused inside of a merry go round that will spew flaming rocks towards the enemy, summon a drill car to ram into stuff at high speeds, barrel roll or perform a spin dash on her broomstick, smash enemies with oversized lollipops and flyswatters, or even summons a small cartoony raincloud that spills acids and shoots small lightning bolts at targets. Her ultimate skill is summoning the Ourobourous, a ten feet tall giant metal wheel made to run over things to death while she and her familiars jog along merrily inside of the thing.
  • Equipment: Adventuring supplies, various alchemy ingredients for instant catalyzing in-field, her broomstick slash magical staff, and the philosopher's stone she crafted that can empower all her weird devices.
  • Backstory: Ixia is an inhabitant of the ruined Terran city of Pandemonium, formerly called New York City. Eons ago, Terra was a planet that had a sufficiently advanced civilization that discovered various new sources of energy- chief among them that of 'magic'. Unfortunately due to the worldwide conflict and the weaponization of such energies, the planet blew up most explosively and only the city then known as New York City survived due to being flung into a spatial warp at the end of days. The land now drifts through space time randomly, anchoring itself among the various planes of realities while allowing for influxes of alien species to immigrate into the place before turning into 'Pandemonium' due to the chaos from such encounters. Ruled over by alien demigods of ridiculous powers called "Apostles" it is a really bad place to live in general considering it's mostly blasted and tainted wastelands and ruined city infrastructure. It was during her travels that Ixia was found by Kate after she had collapsed from exhaustion, the woman nursing her back to good health before sending her over into Arad to search for a way to help the land recover from its blighted existence.

  • Name: Jeda Roxford
  • Age: Middling Twenties
  • Appearance: “Be at ease. For my spirits and talismans will ward away evil...”
  • Personality: A steadfast and righteous man who burns with anger when encountering evil, Jeda is someone who wants to do good for the world... often by bashing in evil's face with a large weapon or even his own fists. Believing that violence is necessary to combat the depravity of villains and monsters, Jeda ascribes somewhat to the school of "might makes right", something he has in spades. That said, for all his religious inclinations, the Priest sometimes questions why God would let horrible things happen and why certain events have gone on far longer than they should have. Though he looks grim and stern most of the time, the holy man is actually extremely empathetic to others and will often try to help others in their time of need. Surprisingly malleable and will not judge demon-tainted individuals preemptively if they are shown to be good at heart. He tends to ham things up in battle with his battle shouts and can surprisingly get hot-blooded in the heat of the moment.
  • Powers: Jeda has trained a long time to get good at what he does, and what he does is God's work. His body is extremely robust and strong, overflowing with endurance and holiness. The man has such great physical strength that he could easily endure long journeys while shouldering the great weight of both armor and weapons that all such Exorcists have. His strength is so great he can punch regularly sized humans across a large room with ease, fling large logs with one hand, and slam his weapon into the ground with enough of an impact to cause strong localized tremors.His defense is incredible as well, considering both tools and his own powerful body would make it easy for him to use his own frame as a giant shield. Speed however is Jeda's greatest weakness, for his choice of combat style leaves him heavily burdened and slower than most when he is carrying the giant axe. Putting down his axe lets him move significantly quicker and by that point in time, he can pummel enemies with punches way faster than his size would suggest at the cost of overall defense and power while using his rosaries allow for faster chanting and higher magical damage.
    • The Exorcist arts of Suju are a strange and exotic set of techniques revolving around the unlocking of chakras and the filling of the dantian with Dragon Energy, at first blue and then in Jeda's case, golden due to his attainment of the Draconid realm. Gained from fighting numerous evil spirits and experiencing the apex between life and death, Jeda has been reborn with the literal might of dragons within him. His weapons are wreathed within dragonic flames and his holy spells become even more pure and bask in the light of God himself. Extremely strong against the forces of darkness, Jeda can use holy talismans to exorcise evil spirits lodged within host creatures and turn wraiths into ashes with mystic boundaries as well as the summons of his own shikigami, spiritual guardians crafted to help purge the heretical with magical firepower. His favored melee weapon is an axe whose blade is as broad as an average man's torso and handle his own height, which he can further enchant to fell the legions of hell with absurd physical strength. Generally if he's using the axe, expect fire and if he's using the rosaries, expect light beams or lightning bolts.
  • Equipment: Adventuring items, rosary, cloth armor, and a giant honking axe that no ordinary man could even wield.
  • Backstory: Jeda is a member of the Priest Order who had trained in the Lemedia Basilica Cathedral and then a pilgrimage to the lands of Suju in order to fight the Imposters, warped and tainted demonic beings spread by the corrupting touch of the Twelfth Apostle, Ozma of Chaos. It was due to this being that a great deal of mankind suddenly went berserk and slaughtered one another, something that the Priests wish to prevent at all cost. In response to the depravity and slaughter that the demi-god was committing, the Order has sent out rigorously trained individuals to strike down the source of woe and agony gnawing at Arad. Jeda is but one of said Priests that had trained for his day to come, leaving on a journey to help out the helpless and slay monsters. After a long journey of venturing in brutal dungeons, the tempered man finally managed to slay Ozma in a great battle along with his comrades. Still, the battle itself had severely shaken him due to several revelations concerning Arad, the Apostles, and even the creator of his own Priest Order, Mikhael of the Holy Eye. Still, even with all of this, the devout man continued to adventure and do God's work for the betterment of others.

  • Name: Anna Testarossa (codenamed Rose)
  • Age: Early twenties
  • Appearance:
  • Personality: A stalwart young woman molded by tradition and military discipline. Though she is a hard-working and often times serious individual, she is also somewhat socially awkward and innocent due to her upbringing as a soldier starting from the very young age of five. Practical and with a good head on her shoulders, she is an utterly loyal individual who would give her all to ensure the safety of her beloved Princess and comrades. Long exposure to heavy ordinance has somewhat warped her personality to being a power junkie- someone who enjoys the firepower she has.
  • Powers: As a member of Majestic Garden, Rose has the training to engage in various military operations without a hitch as well as the mastery of various models of firearms. Her training as a Launcher only served to accentuate the sheer amount of arsenal she can wreak havoc with and specialized training was inflicted upon her body to ensure it was sturdy enough to handle the ridiculous kickbacks and recoils of her stupidly large guns as well as give her the computer like precision necessary to ensure that unneeded damage was not to happen.
  • Equipment Rose has various firearms on hand, though her favorite so far seems to be the hand cannon- literally a cannon strapped onto the hand. What it lack in accuracy in range, they more than make up with sheer firepower. Much like Capensis and quite a few of her fellow adventurers, she has access to a personal storage that lets her swap out guns on the fly.
    • Her other stuff in the arsenal involves the FM-31 Grenade Launcher, the FM-92 mk 2 Lancer (cluster bomb shooter), M-137 Gatling Gun, M-3 Flamethrower, Laser Rifle (smaller contained bursts or a single large beam if allowed to charge sufficiently), Steyr AMR (antimaterial rifle), P-15 Prototype (compresses the very air itself to launch as before igniting into a gas explosion), Ice Booster (it's basically a flamethrower but it shoots jets of liquid nitrogen to freeze stuff with), X-1 Extruder (compresses mass itself and then launches a hyper dense singularity into something before the compressed pressure is released), and the ever amazing Operations Raids which drops an armor pack turned mobile weapons platform seen in Rose's pic that lets her shoot all the dakka.
  • Backstory: Hailing from the technologically advanced floating island continent of Empyrean, Anna Testarossa is a member of Majestic Garden, an elite Imperial Guard division where the finest talents are groomed solely to protect the Imperial Princess and her interests. Anna in particular is the current generation's strongest member and thus received the code name of "Rose", which she wears with no small amount of pride and devotion. It was one fateful day though that she woke up to find herself captured in a Kartel camp and the Imperial Princess kidnapped. Escaping and then throwing herself down to the lower world much like Capensis did except with a motorcycle hijacking added onto her event, the loyal woman fought her way back up to Empyrean with a grim determination... after being armed with the sort of firepower that not even tanks have. Needless to say she safely recovered her princess and is now continuing her adventures in an attempt to make Empyrean safe from harm both inside and out.

  • Backstory: Wonder Woman despite being one of the legendsry amazons, she isn't at all like her sisters as she was molded and esculped by her mother Hypolita and then brought to life thanks to another god. She later gained the right to be called Wonder Woman and eventually became an ambassador to her people on man's world. Later in her life she got to be known as a champion for justice and eventually she joined the greates super hero group of her world: the justice league

She can be a bit serious but she does have a good sense of justice. She does have a good fighting spirit and won't hesitate to do what's right for her people and women everywhere.

Late in her life her desire to be a mother lead her to create a figure out or clay that would eventually become Wonder Woman.

  • Personality: Young and inexperienced, Cassandra Sandsmark looks to be one day as good as her mentor Wonder Woman is. She loves a good fight and she is always optimistic and cheerful. She can be a little to excited at times and can be very bad at being subtle. But her extrovert personality and her willingness to do whats right make her a companion you will want at your side.

  • Personality: She is very cheerful and optimistic and she is usually seen with a smile on her face. Although she does take her role seriously as a superhero she can be seen as the most optimitic and postoge of the group. She is good at solving controversies and she has great leadership skills

She can be outright rude and blut, and she is much less tolerant to men overall than Wonder Woman. In fact this makes her somewhat sexist towars men. However she is still a heroine and above all she is a warrior and an amazon. However Don't expect niceness or kindness from her unless you can crack that shell with a lotmof difficulty.

    • Combat Experience: She is a master in hand to hand combat, martial arts and all forms of ancient weapons.
    • Super strength: Strong enough to carry a van at most.
    • Enhanced durability : Although, she is very resistant to blunt damage, she is much more vulnerable to piercing weapons (like bullets), hence the reason she needs to block bullets with her bracelets. In fact Bullets and arrows affect her like any other human.

    • Artemis's bow and arrows. Her arrows are magically enhanced and they have the same piercing power and strength as armor piercing bullets. As such they are more than a threat than your average arrow.
  • Backstory: She is another amazon from paradise island. What makes her special is that both her actitude and her strict regime of training have pushed her to become a rutless warrior. She is very blunt and agresive and she was in fact considered for the title of Wonder Woman. This alone makes her Diana's closest rival and foil.

  • Name:Circe
  • Appereance : that's how she currently looks. though she can change her appereance.
  • Age: Young adult ( In reality much older)
  • Powers and abilities
  • Personality Selfish, arrogant and self centered, Circe is to put it bluntly a villain. This sorceresss is very smart and manipulative. She believes herself to be superior to mortals due to her magic powers as such she has little value for human life. This doesn't mean however that she can't be charming when the situation calls for it. She views queen Hyppolita and Wonder Woman as her archenemies. But she doesnt have any prejudices agaisnt men at all. However working for them is right now is in her best interest and will keep doing so as long as it's convenient to her.

    • Immortality: She doesnt age but she can be killed otherwise.
    • Magic: Admittedly this is a tricky an ill-defined skill. It's basically an alteration of reality in a small scale. I will ask permission for anything complex or large scale. But from the get go she can't get things they would need to get in a wish.
    • Healing magic: She can use her magic to restore battle wounds from other characters. She cant resurrect the death or restore lost limbs however.
    • Flight: She can hover in the air and fly as fast as the wind.
    • Telekinesis: She can lift and move objects roughly a car at most and with a lot of difficulty.
      • Nerf:Living beings can dodge and avoid this power completely if they wish.
    • Magic Portals: She is able to transport herself and others using her magic to places she has been before.
    • Ilusion casting: She can alter how others perceive things around her and fool the senses: ''' Say if she was against the empire she could make them see her as another Storm trooper.
    • Magic Shapeshifting: She can alter her clothing and her apperance at will, similar to mystique. However this is purely cosmetic and she can't gain new powers by doing so.
    • Magic blasts: She can use blast of concentrated magic energy to harm her enemies.
    • Magic shields: She lacks the endurance or the strenght of the amazons. But she makes up for it by creating energy barriers that protect her from damage.
    • 'Animal Metamorphosis. Her most famous power is that she can turn mortals into animals.This power can always be dodged.
      • Nerf: Effects last 10 minutes unless they are random NP Cs like a lawyer or something like that.
  • Matter transformigication: She can alter matter to another. Say she could turn wood into iron.
  • Abilities
    • Potions: She can create healing potions or some that restore stamina.
    • Magic knowldge: She is able to sense magic and she also has vast knowledge of the occult.
    • Singing: She has a great singing voice.
  • Weaknessess
    • She has a limited pool of magic that she needs to recharge. Thi can be done through a period of inaction in wich she gathers her mystic energy.
    • She cant't create rare or restrcited materials through transmutation.
  • Backstory'
Circe is a famous witch if ancient greek mythology that has been been famous for turning mortals into animals and most famously pigs. She has been considered the daughter of a sea nymph and the titan Hecate. Hecate also happens to be a goddess of magic explaining her magical fortitude. Her sisters are the sirens and as such she has a great singing voice... to a lesssr extent.

However her hunger for power and the fact that queen hyppolita was responsible for imprisioning her has brought her at odds with the amazons. She had been forbidden by the goddess Themis to directly attack Queen Hyppolyta but naturally Wonder Woman is still fair game.

Description: Paradise Island: Paradise Island is a normal island that mostly has greco-roman inspired buildings.
  • Contents/Locations:
  • Fountain of youth/ Aphrodite spring.Here Any person can heal any battle wound in a matter of minutes or seconds if they are not too bad. They can rejunate any old people as well. NERF: Water doesnt work outside paradise island.
    • Nerf: It can't reattach limbs or resurrect the death.
  • Armory: In this place they forge weapons that are as advanced as weapons were in medieval times at best. To make up for their lack of technology all their weapons are magically enhanced. All shields and armors are bulletproof and energy resitant. All weapons like swords and spears can pierce metal just like armor piercing bullets would. However they aren't indestructible, they are just powerful enought to be a credible threat to a modern army.
  • Barn: Here the amazons train and prepare their horses. They also have access to lions and pegasi to use for transport. All animals are as durable as their real life counterparts and Pegasi are basically horses that only have the ability to fly as an aditional skill.
  • Temples: Here they have several temples they use to praise their gods like Hera, aphrodite and Athena. NERF: They can't contact their gods at all.
  • Magic Wildlife: These are mythological greek creatures that the amazons can't control like griffons and cyclops. They mostly use them for practice and to fight them.
  • Forest-Jungle: Paradise Island jungles provide them with plenty of sources of fruits, vegetables and wild normal animals for hunting and eating. They are plentiful thanks to the blessing of their gods.
Specialties:
  • NO MEN ALLOWED: Any man that enters paradise island will be hunted down and killed at worst or be tolerated and be expelled after the reason they were let in at best.
  • No aging: Aging process is suspended as long as you're in the island.

Population:

The main population of the island are the amazons. The population is in the hundreds.

  • Enhanced strength. None of them are as strong as Wonder Woman, but all of them could give a lion or a tiger a run for it's money.
  • Superhuman Durability: They are all more resistant to blunt damage and general punishment. However they are all weak to bullets and piercing weapons just like any other human
  • Superhuman Stamina They can keep fighting longer than a regular human
  • Superhuman Agility They are at an olympic level, able to doge and react better than any average human.
  • Agelessness: They never age.
  • Expert warriors: All of them are experts in hand to hand combat and ancient weaponry as they all can use weapons like shields and swords with ease.

    • Lasso of Truth-The Truth part of this will be nerfed, while no one will be able to lie while in it, they are free to refuse to answer and cannot be compelled to do so by the usual magical means. More mundane means, such as a sword placed on the throat, are still perfectly fine.
    • Sword of Athena-The cutting power of this is taking a nerf, it can still cut metal, but stronger metals and such will require effort or repeated blows to cut.
  • Supergirl
    • Honestly, I'm not even sure why she's here. So far as I am aware her backstory has a tentative connection to them at best. And just saying "She happened to be there for training" is a little too contrived for my tastes, we could say that about any female character that happened to have a reason to be around at the time. I'm afraid that unless you can make a compelling argument for why she should be included, I'll have to insist she be removed from the signup.
  • Chunk stuff
    • Fountain of Youth-I'll allow it but don't abuse. No reattaching limbs or resurrecting people from the dead.
    • Temples-It should be made clear that the amazons will not be able to communicate with any of their gods for the duration of their stay on the Battleworld, nor get any favors, gifts, whatever beyond what they already have or might request via rewards later.

Officially dropping the Anglerfish Team. Instead I've got a different idea that I just can't get out of my head...

  • Main Character
    • Name: Lunafreya (Luna) Nox Fleuret
    • Age: 24
    • Appearance: Princess of Tenebrae
    • Personality: A strong and determined woman, Lunafreya is a person who is never afraid to speak her mind or follow her ideals. She is also a very compassionate person and will never turn her back on someone in need. Owing to her upbringing, she is also very polite and elegant.
    • Powers: As an Oracle, Luna is gifted with certain abilities. She can commune with the astrals, the gods of her world. She has also a potent healing ability that mainly manifests itself in curing magical maladies, but can also cure wounds. And while her trident is mainly ceremonial in nature, she is trained with its use in combat.
    • Equipment: The trident Luna carries was gifted to the first Oracle by the astral Bahamut, and is divine in nature and unbreakable. If used as a weapon, it causes a solid afterimage that lingers for a few seconds to deal damage and distract enemies. She is also followed by her two canine companions Pryna and Umbra. Pryna never leaves her side, while Umbra carries messages for her across long distances. While they appear as nothing more than well-trained dogs, they are in truth divine Messengers and do not age.
    • Backstory: Lunafreya and her younger brother Ravus grew up as members of the Tenebrae royal family, where she became very close to prince Noctis of Lucis. However, her homeland was invaded by the neighbouring Niflheim empire and her mother and several other members of the royal family were killed. Luna was captured by the empire and grew up to take the mantle of Oracle under supervision of the Empire. When she became older, it was decided that she was to marry prince Noctis as part of a peace arrangement, but the peace negotiations turned out to be a trick employed by the Niflheim empire to invade Lucis.     • Name: Cindy Aurum
    • Age: 26
    • Appearance: The head mechanic
    • Personality: Cheerful and enthusiastic, Cindy is widely known for her friendly nature and passion for cars. Despite being orphaned at a young age she is a very optimistic person. Her job as a car mechanic is her life, and she nurtures an interest in all kinds of machinery.
    • Powers: Deeply knowledgeable about machinery, especially cars and other vehicles. Having been brought up on the edge of the wilderness, she also knows how to handle a gun when necessary.
    • Equipment:
      • The Regalia: This black convertible is the property of the Lucis royal family, and is usually owned by prince Noctis of Lucis. However, as chance would have it, the car was at Cindy's garage at Hammerhead when she was picked for Battleworld, and it came along. Thankfully, so did all her tools and equipment.
      • Quicksilver: A semi-automatic pistol bought from a travelling arms merchant. It comes with a tracker for moving targets installed.
    • Backstory: Cindy grew up with her grandfather Cid after losing her parents at a young age, and he taught her how to be an engineer and a mechanic. She had a tough but happy childhood in the outlands of Lucis, where she over time took over her grandfather's garage the Hammerhead.

    • Name: Iris Amicitia
    • Age: 15
    • Appearance: The little sister
    • Personality: Courageous beyond her years, Iris takes after her father and older brother in that she will stare down any challenge that comes her way. She is strong and independent, and rarely fails to keep her positive and cheerful nature in the face of adversity.
    • Powers and equipment: Iris is largely without powers, but she has great skill in martial arts and receives greatly boosted physical strength through a particular wristband that she wears on her right wrist. She also carries with her a set of curatives and a moogle doll that she uses as a decoy in battle.
    • Backstory: Iris grew up as the daughter of Clarus Amicitia, a member of Lucis' ruling council and the Crownsguard, and her older brother Gladiolus is the bodyguard of Lucis crown prince Noctis. She evacuated the capital when the Niflheim empire attacked the kingdom, and she assisted the crown prince and his trusted helpers from behind the scenes.

    • Name: Aranea Highwind
    • Age: 30
    • Appearance: Captain
    • Personality: Aranea is a free spirit, but while she is a mercenary currently employed by the Niflheim empire, she is nevertheless a person of strong morals and will never resort to dirty tricks or dastardly tactics. Mischievous and sometimes lazy, she is very egalitarian in that she'll treat anyone just how she pleases.
    • Powers: An experienced warrior, Aranea is a highly skilled spear-fighter and is capable of extraordinary feats of agility. Her most powerful technique involves her jumping to incredible heights before dive-bombing the enemy spear-first.
    • Equipment: Aranea is decked out in customized power armour that boosts her physical abilities and supplies her with a personal energy shield, and she is equipped with a strong and durable spear.
    • Backstory: Little is known of Aranea's past, before she her skills and experience as a mercenary caught the attention of the Niflheim empire. She was given command of the Third Army Corps 86th Airborne Unit, and fought for the empire. However, the position chafed as she started to disagree with the empire's methods, in particular after coincidences put her in a position to work alongside crown prince Noctis of Lucis, a sworn enemy of the empire.

As for Circe, in addition to the rules already discussed and agreed on, keep in mind she should have some sort of upper limit to how many spells she can cast before using all of her magic reserves or whatnot and requiring a recharge.

Also, no creating rare or restricted materials using that matter thing, I don't want to see her making adamantite with it.

    • Name: Ozai
    • Age: 47
    • Appearance: What you choose, by definition, is right.
    • Personality: Easily angered, domineering, insatiably power-hungry, indifferent, militaristic, cruel even to his own children, thinks morality is a sign of weakness, believes that might makes right, despises not being in control, sees his people as an extension of his divine right to rule, dude even straight up laughed at the concept of kindness. Just an all-around swell guy.
    • Powers: Ozai's firebending is fueled by his anger and his rage, traits which make his style seem more like a forest fire than the controlled burn of other firebenders. Coupled that with his complete disregard for human life, and if you were to point out that his biggest enemy is inside that house with 500 other people— oh birdspit, he's already burning it down (and the nearby orphanage, because the dude can't help it). He can also bend lightning, like most expert firebenders.
      • Funny enough, most people consider Ozai a good leader, because he has the skills necessary to transform a nation into a military powerhouse- he's intelligent, charismatic (when he needs to) and certainly knows how to weave the patriotic excuses necessary to plunge a world into war.
    • Equipment: He has that crown.
    • Backstory: During his younger years, Ozai led a life in the shadows of his much more capable and powerful brother, Iroh. As such, he used any chances he had to exert control over the lives of others, be they his wife or his children, all so he could satisfy the will of his father Azulon and secure his position in the throne. When Iroh suffered a great failure and lost his only son, Ozai requested to his father that the right to throne was transferred to him, as without a son, the royal bloodline would eventually die with Iroh. Outraged, his father ordered him to kill his own son so he would understand Iroh's pain. And Ozai was about to do it, until his wife offered him an untraceable poison, with which he could do whatever he wanted. The next morning, Ozai's wife had 'disappeared' and Azulon was found dead. The sages soon announced that his dying wish was that Ozai be crowned the new Fire Lord- and so began his reign.

  • Supporting Cast
    • Name: Zuko
    • Age: 16
    • Appearance: You'll never be free of that mark.
    • Personality: A walking contradiction, Zuko is at times domineering and controlling, yet incapable of viewing people as expendable. He's focused on his task to a dangerous degree, but his compassion often overpowers that. Even though he has suffered at the hands of his family, he's still willing to vouch for them- especially his father. He desires love and approval from his father, a need that was internalized thanks to years of abuse, and albeit his hotheadedness and generally dour outlook on life make him a hard target for manipulation, Zuko is still, at heart, a young man trying to find his place in the world.
    • Powers: Much like his personality, Zuko's firebending is erratic: if he's angry or frustrated, his blasts will be more unfocused, similar to streams that start out strong and die out quickly. But if he's in his more reserved state, he's capable of controlling his powers to such a degree that he can perform tricks such as fire whips and charged blasts whilst holding his own against equally capable masters. However, his firebending is still connected to his rage, and as a result, he can't create lightning like other firebenders- instead, he can only redirect it. Aside from his bending, Zuko also developed masterful skill in swordsmanship, and he specialized in dual wielding swordplay, using a set of dao blades. He can also handle himself in unarmed combat.
    • Equipment: More often than not, Zuko can be seen near his dao blades.
    • Backstory: The first child of Ozai and Ursa, Zuko was disdained by his father at a young— no, let's not talk about that. After speaking out of turn— after disrespecting his father during an important war meeting, Zuko was scarred— taught a lesson, which he carries to this day in the form of the scar in his face. He was ban— sent on a mission to find the Avatar, which he did, several times, but then he fail— employed alternative means of hunting his enemy. For a moment, he was even a criminal, but he never lost track of his mission. Eventually, he aided his sister in disposing of the Avatar and betray— imprisoning his uncle. Who was a true enemy of the Fire Nation. Now, he has returned to his rightful place as Prince of the Fire Nation.

    • Name: Azula
    • Age: 14
    • Appearance: Trust is for fools.
    • Personality: Born a princess and hailed as a prodigy, Azula is narcissistic, confident, perfectionist, a firm believer in her divine right to rule, domineering and incapable of empathy or piety (much like her father). Underneath her cruel behavior is deep insecurity, especially in regards to how other people see her. For all of her self-assurance, Azula requires constant approval from the figure that ingrained these characteristics in her: Ozai, her father. And, much like her strive to be one hundred percent perfect, if she ever gets anything less than a 'good job', well... who knows what she might do.
    • Powers: One of the most skilled firebenders of her time, Azula's most notorious feat is her copious use of blue flames, which are much more intense than the red, orange, and yellow flames normally used, and require a degree of control unthinkable by the likes of Zuko. Azula also used her flames in inventive ways, such as creating jets of flames, whirling disks, and blades of fire, along with being a proficient lightningbender, capable of creating lightning just as easily. Also a natural acrobat, Azula can hold her own without her bending, though she prefers dodging to actually fighting other people.
    • Equipment: Her nails are very sharp.
    • Backstory: Azula was born with a never-before-seen amount of intelligence and prowess, and everyone acknowledged that. She always surpassed her masters and exceeded her already high expectations, and everyone applauded her for it. There wasn't a single person in the entire world who didn't acknowledge that. No one. Even her father, the most powerful man in the entire world, knew it. That's why he assigned her to hunting not only the Avatar, but also her failure of a brother, Zuko. And not only did she succeed in doing both, but she also helped topple the once-unbreakable capital of the Earth Kingdom. And everyone loves her for that.

    • Name: Mai and Ty Lee
    • Age: 15 and 14
    • Appearance: Not amused and incapable of not being amused.
    • Personality: Mai and Ty Lee are proof that opposites attract. Dark, brooding, stoic, and gloomy, Mai is usually bored by her circumstances and takes little interest in anything around her, although she's very much capable of showing genuine happiness for a select few, and is compassionate to those around her, even her enemies. Ty Lee, on the other hand, is bubbly, outspoken, cheery, emotive, and is always happy to explore new worlds and new situations, friendly to a fault even to those who she's currently attacking. She's also loyal, so much so that she's 'capable' of ignoring obvious signs of a toxic friendship- but even Ty Lee has her limits, especially when innocent life is concerned.
    • Powers: Although both of them are nonbenders, they have been able to make their mark on a world of masters through mastery of unusual skills. Ty Lee is extraordinary agile, a circus performer in heart and in body, using that along with her chi blocking (a skill which, when carefully applied through poking the limbs of an enemy, can temporarily paralyze certain parts of his/her body). Mai tends more to the stealthy side of the spectrum, using that along with her marksmanship to skillfully hit targets from a distance.
    • Equipment: Mai's weapons involve knives, stilettos and a sai.
    • Backstory: Thanks to circumstance (and the privilege of nobility), both Mai and Ty Lee grew up around the Fire Nation royal family, and naturally became friends with Princess Azula (though Mai exhibited more of a kindred spirit with Zuko, much to Azula's chagrin). The three of them went their separate ways and met back up when Azula needed help on her hunt for the Avatar. Mai was more than 'happy' to do something different, although Ty Lee had to be 'coerced by fate' to join along. Now that the Avatar is gone and the Fire Nation is victorious, the gang is finally back together.

  • Chunk
    • Name of the World: Fire Nation Capital
    • Description: The chunk is made up of one of the most important sections of the Fire Nation, although its mostly made up of lush, green forests along a rocky terrain. At the furthermost edge of the chunk is a crater, where the actual Capital resides, although there are more cities on the outside.
    • Contents/Locations: The key locations in the chunk are...
      • Harbor: The Capital Harbor is large enough and has enough docks to hold twelve Empire-Class Fire Nation warships, or numerous smaller ships at a time. Once inside, there are only two directions to go: back out to the sea (though one has to pass the massive stone gates, flanked by two large ballista towers), or through the gauntlet known as the...
      • ''Royal Plaza:'' Located in the harbor, just below the Capital's Harbor City, the Royal Plaza is an impressive structure where Fire Nation Royalty hold inspiring rallies for the people of the Fire Nation. It is also the only way in or out of the city from the sea. As a natural choke point, it is the main line of defense for the Capital, and it's lined with numerous battlements with clear line of sight and varied weapons (such as tundra tanks), the Royal Plaza is one of the most heavily guarded places in the Fire Nation.
      • ''Harbor City:'' Located between the mountain and the harbor, this area supplies refined metal to build tanks, warships, weapons, and numerous trade shops to maintain the city's defense works. The industrial area is also home to many criminals and lowlifes.
      • ''Royal Caldera City:'' Located in a crater at the summit of a dormant volcano, this elite area is home to many of the Fire Nation's wealthiest and most important nobles. This area also houses the Fire Lord's Palace, the central Fire Sage Temple, villas for member's of the Fire Lord's extended family, numerous lush gardens and ceremonial plazas.
      • ''Royal Palace:'' The palace is situated on a vast hill of rocky, barren scorched earth, walled off from the remainder of the city and defended by the elite Royal Procession. Inside, the palace is comprised of enormous halls and retains an intricate array of wings and chambers, which include the throne room, the royal gallery and even a royal spa.
      • Other locations in the chunk include Capital City prison, the Fire Sages' temple, and the underground Dragonbone Catacombs, which also house security bunkers.
    • Specialties: Throughout the forests that make up most of the chunk, one may find the varied and unusual fauna and flora of the Fire Nation.
    • Population: The population of the chunk is divided between the Royal Caldera City and Harbor City. The people of Harbor City are 75% non-benders and 25% benders, divided amongst soldiers, peasants, criminals, young and old. Meanwhile, the people of Royal Caldera City have a more even 50/50 split of non-benders and benders, though most of them are exclusively royals or family members of said royals. Most of the population (approximately in the hundreds) are soldiers in the army, divided amongst its various sections (from foot soldiers to the higher ups and the elite groups, like the Royal Procession).

  • Other Characters:
    • Name: Aang
    • Age: 12
    • Appearance: In disguise.
    • Personality: Fun-loving, somewhat naive, adventurous and always ready to accept a new friend, Aang is a natural pacifist with a carefree look on life that can enchant and frustrate, often at the same time. His desire to explore and have fun often clashes with his duties as the Avatar, but recently he has begun to accept his responsibilities and has shifted to a more balanced version of himself, albeit still as happy as ever.
    • Powers: As the Avatar, Aang is the only person in the world capable of bending the four elements... but that doesn't mean he can bend them with equal prowess. He is a master at airbending and waterbending, capable of developing neat tricks (like his patented air scooter) thanks to the ease with which he learned those elements. Although he is, technically, an earthbending master, Aang uses it more as a defense than as an attack, as is his nature. He is very afraid of firebending, and has sworn to never practice it again. Something else he thinks he'll never use again? His Avatar State, in which he draws from the combined knowledge of all past Avatars, has been severed, perhaps permanently, and Aang fears he may never recover it.
    • Equipment He is currently staffless.
      • Not an equipment, but Aang (and by extension his friends) are accompanied by Appa, his flying bison. A creature of considerable size and weight, Appa is the last of his kind, and like his name says, he can fly. It's all thanks to that massive tail of his, which lets him perform a kind of airbending. He can also use it to send gusts of wind flying right into his enemies... and he is a bison, so don't let him step on you.
    • Backstory: Aang, technically, is 112. That's because when he was a kid, the elders at his temple decided to inform him that he was the Avatar before the right time, aware that a war was about to brew. Incapable of dealing with the heft of the job, Aang escaped, and was caught by a storm, eventually being trapped in an iceberg with his flying bison. One hundred years (and a still going war) later, he was rescued by the siblings Katara and Sokka, who helped him get back on his journey to master the elements and save the world from the vicious Fire Lord. However, his journey was severely interrupted when Azula, the Fire Lord's daughter, sent a lightning strike through him whilst he was in his Avatar State, sending Aang into a coma he has just woken up from. Now, he hides in the Fire Nation with his friends, hoping for a new opportunity to stop the Fire Lord.

    • Name: Katara
    • Age: 14
    • Appearance: Also in disguise.
    • Personality: Katara is caring and compassionate, and is often marked by a fierce determination to aid others and to enhance her own abilities. Emotionally driven, she eventually became the most mature member of the group, capable of holding them together during its toughest moments. But for all her kindness and compassion, she was sometimes self-righteous, had a nasty temper, and could be fierce when provoked. And boy, can she hold a grudge.
    • Powers: A waterbending master, Katara's potential as a fighter had to first be unlocked, as it was tradition amongst the Water Tribes to teach women only how to heal, and not fight. She's capable to the point of turning rain drops into weapons, fighting equally against other masters. That being said, Katara is also plenty good at healing, and has saved the group from plenty of sticky situations.
    • Equipment: None.
    • Backstory: Katara is one of Aang's closest allies, having been by his side ever since he woke up. Along with helping him in his quest, she has also used every opportunity to learn more, practicing waterbending with Aang and developing a stronger bond with him. Said bond was put to the test when, after the Earth Kingdom fell to Princess Azula, Katara had to take care of Aang during his coma, during which she came to realize that she considered him more than a friend. With Aang now back in action, she has turned her attention towards keeping the team safe and hidden from the Fire Nation so they can strike back.

    • Name: Sokka
    • Age: 15
    • Appearance: In disguise
    • Personality: As comic as he is smart, Sokka plays two roles inside the group, being both its strategist and its main source of laughter. His personality swims between his easy-going, sarcastic and meat-loving self to his serious, straight-thinking and planning self. Like a wise woman once said, Sokka's future is full of struggle and anguish- most of it, self-inflicted.
    • Powers: His brain. He doesn't need any of that bending mumbo jumbo!
    • Equipment He doesn't even have his boomerang anymore!
    • Backstory: Although he was initially distrustful of Aang, Sokka also became one of his best friends. Whilst Katara was the 'emotional' side of the team, Sokka grew into the 'brain' side, developing skills that made him a natural strategist and a great ally for both the team and the efforts against the Fire Nation as a whole. But the defeat at Ba Sing Se has struck a personal note for him, as one of the 'enemies of the state' captured by the Fire Nation was his girlfriend, Suki. Now, he has to figure out a plan, some way for them to fight back, or else the Hundred Year War might finally end... with a victory from the Fire Nation.

    • Name: Toph
    • Age: 12
    • Appearance: In disguise... I guess? She can't really tell.
    • Personality: Toph's a tomboyish girl who enjoys the carefree life, but most of all, she loves fighting and is ready to face her enemies head-on (sometimes by literally using her head first). She's very prideful person and will constantly remind people that she's the greatest earthbender in the world. Toph's also very honest, to the point it seems brutal, especially when it comes to criticizing others. Even if she sometimes insults her friends, she's courageous and loyal, ready to stand by their side at any time.
    • Powers: Toph possesses an unique style of earthbending, the mix of her blindness and her training with the original earthbenders, the badgermoles. She essentially sees through her feet and the vibrations on the ground, and whilst that has side effects (no shoes, can't see people who aren't touching the ground, awful swimmer and/or flyer), it has given her a near-perfect control of her element. Toph's seismic sense allows her to see what others can't see, which include people far away from her, and she can also sense if a person is lying through the beat of his/her heart. Additionally, Toph has developed a new kind of bending: metalbending, although it only works with metal that's impure and has enough 'dirt' in it for her to control.
    • Equipment Nothing.
    • Backstory: Toph is Aang's earthbending teacher and the team's newest member, having joined them based on the prospect of seeing lands she had never seen before, thanks to her restricted upbringing as the 'defenseless' blind noble girl. As time went on, she grew to consider the members of Team Avatar as her family, and is now hiding with them in the Fire Nation, eagerly awaiting another shot at saving the world.

Here we go, Second Chunkless and a bit different.

Main Character

Name: Original Name Unknown, goes by Samurai Jack

Age: Unknown, from early 20s to early 30s.

Appearance: A Foolish Samurai Wielding a Magic Sword

Personality: Jack was raised to be a scourge against and antithesis to the ultimate evil of his world. He tries his best to always be patient, kind, and eternally willing to help those in need. He tries not to fight unless he has to, and does his utmost never to kill.

That doesn't mean Jack is soft, and if you threaten others or force his hand he won't hesitate to prove his status as his world's greatest warrior. Nor does it mean that Jack is stupid. In fact he's capable of surprising cunning and strategic insight that enables him to survive in a futuristic world full of magic and sci-fi technology that wants him dead.

Powers: Jack has no outright superhuman powers, but he was trained by a benevolent global conspiracy of sorts in order to be the ultimate champion of good. He traveled the world from an incredibly young age to learn a variety of skills and hone his body to near-superhuman levels.

He's studied martial arts styles from numerous cultures across the globe including Shaolin Martial Arts, African styles of stick-fighting, mounted combat with the Mongols, Greco-Roman Wrestling and Gladiatorial Combat, his native Japan's swordsmanship and martial arts and more.

Jack practiced horsemanship in Arabia, Mongolia and Russia, and learned to be one with and ride a wider variety of beasts while studying with tribesmen in Sub-Saharan Africa. He's since learned to tame and ride an even wider variety of creatures from his time in the future.

Jack learned navigation and sailing with both Japanese sailors and Vikings.

He was taught archery and general marksmanship by Robin Hood, then furthered his education with ranged weapons under Russian Cossacks and Mongolian skirmishers.

Shaolin Monks taught Jack to heighten his senses, enabling him to fight and function while blind.

Jack's been trained in various spiritual practices he uses combined with his iron will to combat various forms of mind control and even fight against attacks from the spiritual plane.

Jack received a formal education at the Great Library of Alexandria in Egypt, considered the greatest collection of knowledge in the ancient world, and is a brilliant mind and cunning strategist for his time. He has the ability to comprehend how most weapons work after only briefly seeing them in action, and has used trickery, skill and tactics to overcome both superhuman opponents and vast armies.

Jack was trained by ape people in a special method that allows him to 'Jump Good', making inhuman leaps like a leaf on the wind.

He studied stealth and ninjitsu techniques and can vanish effortlessly if he puts his mind to it.

Equipment: Jack usually tends to both pick up and lose equipment as he goes along without anything staying for long. Even his typical outfit of white robe, geta sandals, hairpin and straw hat tends to get destroyed and rebuilt by Jack himself over the course of his adventures.

The one consistent item Jack has is his magic sword. The sword is a potent mystical artifact, forged by the combined powers of the Norse, Egyptian and Hindu Gods and made of the very righteousness of Jack's Father's soul.

Mostly all that this amounts to is that the sword is incredibly sharp, cannot be used to hurt the righteous, and is entirely indestructible. It has been capable of hurting things that exist on mental or spiritual planes such as ghosts, elementals and the demon lord Aku as well

Backstory: Long ago in distant Imperial Japan, the shapeshifting master of darkness known as Aku rose from his imprisonment to unleash unspeakable evil upon the world. But the Emperor of Japan had prepared for this day, and sent his only son, the Prince, on a journey to save the world.

The Prince traveled across the globe, training in various disciplines in order to defeat Aku before finally retrieving his father's magical katana, the only weapon capable of slaying the great evil. The Prince returned to Japan and confronted Aku, nearly killing him. But before he could strike the final blow, Aku tore open a time portal and flung him into a far distant future where he had already failed to save the world.

Dubbed 'Jack' by the peoples of this future time, the Samurai Prince continued to fight against Aku's oppression, waging a one-man war against Aku while also seeking a way to return to the past.
