Which project should I try to write first?

Hello all. I'm an aspiring writer and Tv Tropes Newbie (that is, I'm new to interacting with the community and not the site itself) and I was wondering if anybody could help me with deciding which project I should start on first. I have many ideas but I have narrowed it down to 3 contenders for what I should write first.

1. A Space Fantasy/Western about and ex-super soldier just wandering around the galaxy and being a bounty hunter. The initial plot involves the main character and his partner getting hired by the galactic government to hunt down a bad guy. (That's all I got for the plot of this one)

2.An Urban Fantasy set in the 1700s (or whatever time period Pot C takes place in). A teenage boy is approached by two wizards to go on an epic quest to defeat the rising number of Dark wizards/witches there are.

3.A Superhero Urban Fantasy: Sort of like a standard superhero world, except the heroes powers rely on magic or Magitek. This one I am unsure whether it is going to be a novel or a comic series, but I've been really into this idea for a while now.

So I want to know your thoughts of which sounds the most interesting. to you and which I should write first as I said. (BTW the first two ideas are supposed to be novels.

Write whichever sounds most interesting to you, really.

We can give you our opinions, but in the end it's you who is writing it, and it is your motivation or its lack that makes the difference between success or failure in writing it. As such, you should write what appeals the most to you; that's the first step, you can ask people what they want once you write your first book (or the first few) and know what you can do.

My recommendation is much the same. Just start writing and see what happens. If you're having trouble with one, switch to another. Most people find that it helps to get around writer's block to have multiple stories going at a time.

Remember: When in doubt, just write. You can always fix something you've already written. But if you keep everything in your head, insisting it be perfect before you ever put it on the page, you're never going to get anything done.

I've been really into this idea for a while now.

Go with that one. Or you can juggle all three so that you don't burn out on just one.

Well, sometimes I start writing, but then certain things get in the way, such as school or work. Then I forget about the thing I am currently writing, and start thinking about another story that I want to do.

I did initially start writing the Space Western/fantasy story first, so I might try to take a crack at it again.

I'll go ahead and parrot what the others have been saying — i.e. you should just write, and write what excites you most — BUT I'll add a bit more to that.

Speaking personally, I think you should go with the space fantasy/western. That's not to say the other two ideas are bad, but when you're working with space, you're working with a blank canvas. You can make some incredible stuff if given the chance; whatever you can imagine can become your greatest tools. Granted it could also mean you'd have to do a lot more work, but it could pay off.

Really, though, it's all about exploring the possibilities. If you absolutely have to choose one of the three, then choose the one that you think will let you get the most out of it. You know, imagine new stuff, go in different directions, create cool characters and scenarios, the works. If you're having fun just bringing ideas to the table, then I'd bet that you're doing something right.

Haha, I had the same issue, me, I just went with the world I had most developed. Right now I'm actually writing a reference book for myself so I can have a comprehensive source for the mythology of the world, honestly, it's really helped with world building, I'd suggest trying that with whichever world you've built up the most.
