Sounds like Russia. Mind you, I'm not saying it is that bad. Hopefully, we are never going to see how it would look like if Chinese military actually got deployed, but perhaps they are suffering from similar issues.

I guess China copied Russia's homework more than Xi ever imagined.
Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, maybe we should try to find the absolutes that tie us.
Fortunately for Xi, he's a little bit less high on fumes and is double-checking these things in case China's military ever does need to mobilize.

It also does highlights on individual Chinese who want to settle outside of China via Serbia or ethnic Chinese in Serbia who want to get more integrated with the rest of Serbia.

Seems like this is a recurring pattern — Biden makes "off-the-cuff" frank remark on foreign policy, White House follows up with "clarification statement" meant to cover their diplomatic ass.
