I need some suggestions on dealing implementing my own spin on Differently Powered Individuals on to me upcoming Black Comedy web short stories series. Basically alterhumans or bunshin( japanese for "alter ego") are humans that can access there superpowered powered alter egos while espers or supernaturals ( or sometimes superhuman) who have powers with a alter ego to use them.

Any bright ideas that you like to add on how i can expand on this.

Make it a Bayside Shakedown style comedy/parody. It's too easy to get trapped in the vicious cycle of drama and angst for their own sake, In a World… where good and bad clash so publicly, and it's still too easy to get wrapped up in it even with a deliberate Black Comedy take.

Besides that, is there anything more specific you need help with? Really, this thing where someone asks for help without explaining what exactly they need gets a little frustrating at times, because then we're just tossing ideas out into the aether instead of directly helping with something.

During the year 1900, an interdimensional portal tore through the fabric of space into our world. Opening a makeshift door for a meteorite impacts from the sky above. However, the meteor shower wasn't some sign for humanity's incoming doom but it was instead a sign for a new race of humans to created from it's wake. The supernaturals as they call them, were beings named for their supernaturals abilities they gain from exposure from the inter-dimensional meteor impacts that some individuals came into contact with.

At first glance, some seem perfectly normal from anyone else but due to the meteorites properties, these individuals' powers began to manifest. Some powers that manifested slightly changed their appearances to less drastic measures while others weren't as lucky as their fellow human supernaturals. They either had turn into monsters or mutants or even developed a separate personality depending on the circumstances of the meteor.

The government slowly took into action in the 1980s, conducting a new subdivision known as Project Masquerade, a top secret agency dedicated to hunting down potentially dangerous renegade supernaturals who disapproved of laws created to regulate the supernatural inhabitants living amongst society. With the agency doing there best to hunt down and uncover the renegade syndicate during the 21st century to end their attempts on allowing the supernaturals to be the dominant species on the planet. During such times they were both unaware that a new the threat has risen, The demons from the abyssal void. Bloodthirsty creature hell bent on consuming all the souls of humanity to satisfy hunger in order to please their creator and mother, the one mind. Earth's only hope are the new generation of supernaturals who must look past their differences to allow mankind to see a new tomorrow. Will you save humanity or let them all persist?

80 years is a bit long. You could feasibly have third- or even fourth-generation "Overnaturals" running around by that point.

"Project Masquerade" is kind of an odd name for a top-secret group. I bet their secret base is called "Secret Base", and has neon lights on the roof flashing it out into the night. Something more innocuous, like "Stonecrop Tranquil" (two words that ordinarily don't come together), or "Tranquil Tone" (a phrase that isn't used outside of specific fields), so two people can talk about it without arousing suspicion.

But again, I'd put it out into the public. You underestimate what social stigmatization can do to someone, and how badly most people actually need human contact and friends. If anything, it'd be entirely believable that the Overnaturals would want to blend in as much as possible, just to live normal lives.

That's. Why. Bayside Shakedown or Patlabor: someone's got to keep an eye on them, while griping about their lack of funding.

(And you probably meant "perish", yeah?)
