Kid Flash appeared later down the line, during the Brotherhood arc. He managed to charm Jinx (who is a composite character of two different villains from the comics) and turn her into a Titan.
Wonder Girl never appeared I think....
She probably made a cameo in the background, I think, but she did appear in the comic book spinoff. Again, the TV rights to Wonder Woman were bullshit back then.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Thats also why Wonder Girl wasn't in season 1 of Young Justice.
I also completely forgot about the Starfire being a princess from another planet thing (Obviously I knew that she was indeed a alien from Tamaran). In the animated show it was barely brought up at all unless the episode's plot involved her home planet or Blackfire...
I like how they are using that aspect of her though for this.

Starfire had so little focus compared to the other characters. Like, the first four seasons were each an arc for one of the team (Season 1 was Robin, Season 2 was Beast Boy, Season 3 was Cyborg, and Season 4 was Raven). Starfire never got her big arc.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Yeah that was a problem that was brought up in the old Teen Titans thread and in the YMMV section of Teen Titans. Starfire didn't get her arc before the show went off the air. Beast Boy's also ended at a really odd note. You can kinda tell that they didn't know how to send the show off (either that or there hands were tied and they had to send it off in someway at that point)
I think it was gonna end at Season 3, then Season 4, and it ended at Season 5. The last few episodes of Season 4 are actually called "The End".
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Teen Titans was originally going to end with Season 4, but because the shows ratings were so high, CN commissioned a fifth season. Back then, Warner Bros. had this weird stance on ending their shows with 52 episodes.
Doesn't it have something to do with syndication?
65 is the magic number. Though I don't know who they'd syndicate it to given the state of TV these days.
I do kind of like the direction of these Titans. None of the cheese of '00s TT and none of the sociopathy of TT Go, gag show or otherwise.
Man, I wish WB and CN had their 65 episode fix when Young Justice, Green Lantern, and Beware the Batman were around.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Lets see how many more seasons we could have gotten from those shows if they had 65 episodes.
Young Justice - A third season with 19 episodes.
Green Lantern - up to 3 more season if each was 13 episodes long. or 2 more seasons if season 2 was 26 episodes and season 3 was 13.
Beware the Batman - Same as Green Lantern
65 is typically a cap, not a requirement. Even back in the day, series didn't so much try to have 65 episodes as much as they are expected to stop at 65 episodes, unless they're half-length series in which case its twice as much of course.
It's slowly starting to go away these days, since as noted the state of tv is way different now and networks seem to go for 65 more out of tradition than anything.

The art style reminds me a LOT of Young Justice.

All DC animated movies look like Young Justice now.
I miss the diversity in styles, so much.
Yeah I will admit that style was kinda irking but ah well.
That trailer did reveal something I didn't know before now though. Trigon apparently uses some form of mind control to take over the League. Is Martian Manhunter part of this version of the League?
It's DCNU based, so no.
Ah okay
Okay, looks like I was wrong about this using elements of JLA/Titans: The Technis Imperative. The Justice League are only brainwashed.
Its better then Marvel, where all cartoon have the same style. I really want marvel cartoon that isn't part of MAU.
Reading that makes me miss The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
I'm missing The Spectacular Spider-Man, Iron Man: Armored Adventures, flippin The Super Hero Squad Show, virtually anything that is different to what we get.
Kid Flash became a reserve member, I think. Wonder Girl was legally unable to appear because of some bullshit regarding the TV rights to Wonder Woman.
