- Sinister Mouse
This one had a lot of potential, but they did'nt really flesh out Sinister Mouse all that much and he just played a generic hench role. Highlights of this were more down to Danger Toad (Greenback's double), and Danger Moth. We also learn Penfold has a long and "most unfortunate" middle name
"There's No Place Like Greenback"
A neat little send-up of Midwich Cukoos/Village of the Damned while posing as a "amnesiac super-villain" plot. Poor Penfold was getting quite used to being a parent, all that hard work...yeah, you cry Penfold, at least DM made use of your tears.

Saw "From Duck 'Till Dawn" this morning.
Glad they've maintained Duckula's showbiz aspirations. It was your typical "tv is bad for your brain" story (with the added twist of turning you into literal vegetables), but it was perfectly fine. DM gets a little too boastful about his worldwide fame and convinces Duckula to set his sights on the same thing. Loved that DM also wound up ticking off the villagers to the point they're more intent on murdering him than Duckula.
Nice to see Duckula again
"Happy Boom Day" (the SKY EPG listed it as "Happy Doom Day" for some reason)
Poor Squawk, DM and Penfold constantly crashing her party to destroy her presents (even if the intentions were noble), I'm glad she did'nt play the victim too long and actually got involved in the action. The addition of the emotion detector was a nice touch, letting us know just how bitter Squawk was becoming, and that the final reading had her as content, but still plotting revenge.
Sqawkencluck's parents frighten me. I don't know if I'd be particularly cheerful if I found out my wife turned me into a garbage monster just to make sure I dragged all the grime around with me...and that she's willing to do it again only this time turning him invisible?
Still, Mrs. Squawkencluck understanding DM's dim-witted difficulties when comes to the Professor's inventions was a perfect foil for the Professor's usual attitude towards him, and we learn the Professor's first name is Professor!
Poor Professor, she rebuilds Big Head and it ends up incarcerating them all for petty crimes, even made-up ones (offences towards lightbulbs), reducing her to depression. I liked the callback to Penfold's past crime with the pencil as a means of dealing with Big Head. The ending shows we're not quite done with her yet either.
You know, I'm somewhat convinced anything created by the Danger Agency has proven to be a more compelling and entertaining villain than any of the actual villains on this show. Megahurtz turning everything into pixelated mario blocks and coins was great, and did I spot a Shoryuken to the Danger Car?
Robopenfold was quite likeable, he seemed to want to geninually help and he did'nt get a big ego or tried to undermine Penfold (and I think something created by Squawkencluck would normally have to be a bit arrogant), when it was liquified by Megahurtz I felt kind of sorry for him.
"The Hamster Effect"
Interesting story in that Kong's time machines end up useful for corporate Penfold so he doesn't miss a meeting. DM seem to have an immunity to changes in the space/time continuum where nobody else has.
And we're back on hiatus again. Dammit!
So this show's been on Netflix since April 29th and I've been watching it lately. (I don't live in Britain and for some odd reason, I don't exactly like the idea of watching Netflix shows on something that isn't Netflix so I decided to wait until April 29th like everyone else (hopefully).)
Don't know what the general consensus for this show is, but I have to say, as someone who has zero idea who Danger Mouse is, I quite enjoy it.

It is almost identical to the original show, though with cleaner animation, Professor Squawkencluck is female, a chicken as opposed to a mole, English as opposed to German, and has a much bigger role (I think), and I think there's a bit more continuity between episodes. The original was a good show, I'd recommend it.

Oh yeah, I saw Danger Mouse pop up on Netflix the other day. But that just makes me wonder if I can find the entire original show so I can be well versed in it
My favorite episode is the one where aliens in gigantic spaceships play pool with the Solar System.
That sounds awesome! I gotta watch this now.
The episode's called 'The Intergalactic 147'.
Found it, thanks!
So what is Danger Mouse about?
A British secret agent mouse and his cowardly sidekick fight crime. Hilarity Ensues.
And it sounds like it gets super bizarre? Seems like my kind of show.
Yeah, was originally an older show which they revived with some new stuff (like the current Professor being the niece fo the original Professor). Duckula was certainly interesting.
All we need now is for Mighty Mouse to get a new show and we could pray for a modern crossover.
There's lots of new characters exclusive to the new series, like Jeopardy Mouse (who I think is voiced by that girl from Terminator: Sarah Conner Chronicles), Danger Moth, Pandaminion etc.
New episodes all week
"Attack of the Clowns" was good until the abrupt ending....DM putting a few pies on his face and the super-serial alien clowns suddenly now have a sense of humour? Even after they spent the whole day tipping cream all over London from their spaceships?
Still, you have to feel for the Professor, a genuine fear and everyone laughs at it by the end.
Right, just saw "Cheeseageddon" and "Queen of Weevils"
First one was alright for a "two enemies chained to another/work out differences" episode, was'nt too sold on the villain. The narrator having a David Atinbrough accent at the start made me chuckle. Too bad nothing came of Sqwakencluck learning about her handcuffs. "Conveniantium" was an amusing name for the metal.
Second episode was definitely stronger. The narrator actually had more of a role, if only because he irritated the Weevil queen and cost her victory over Merlin in the flashback. Squawkencluck and Penfold had a nice moment together too when she pinched his nose.
Thoughts on "Never Say Clever Again"
Greenback's comments about the throne escalator had me rolling, as did him constantly scrambling to pick up his chocolate, it's a good thing they kept bringing up the average intellect of most of the agency because the lax security they have is shambolic. This is the second instance of Nero getting into the base now!
