I like 1.4's first panel, it's a shame the one from The Matrix blends into the background.
I'd say 1.1 and 1.4 (panel 1) are the best of those. 1.2 doesn't have the Artifical Limb stand out all that much due to the coloring, while 1.3 looks less like "metal detector shenigans" than "clawed psycho is about to kill". I'm hesitant on 1.4 because the words might be hard to make out at wiki size, certainly more than 1.1.

I'm not familiar with that aspect of copyright stuff...it should be fine, especially if we can find the artist to credit like we do with stuff on Deviant Art.
CC is Creative Commons
and "CC BY-SA" means "Attribution-ShareAlike", it's the one Wikipedia uses. It's not copyrighted and only has to be attributed to use it.
