I'm using Chrome on an HP Pavilion Notebook, if that helps. And doesn't work either in Firefox.

Bottom Buttons work for me, just not top. Not in a new chrome install with no addons, or firrefox.

Dunno what changed between my last post and now, but random buttons are working for me now. (Ubuntu-based Linux OS, Chromium browser).

Those buttons aren't Flash; they are Javascript. TV Tropes, internally, uses no Flash at all. It's only ads that have it — and, one supposes, the You Tube embeds, but those aren't hosted by us anyway.
