This image with two snipers in a classic duel pose should symbolize this trope pretty neatly. We'd have to ask the artist's permission, of course.

Why? It's even more okay to use without permission than most dA images (which are okay to use without permission) because those are definitely not the artist's characters.

Personally I'd rather have one where the two are crouching while scoped, facing each other... at point-blank range.
