Welp, off to buy a 32 gig microsd card. (...and effectively bumping up the game's price from 80 to 90 dollars.)

So glad I bought one a few weeks back at 60% off. Clearance sales, gotta love em.
Also, I think the 3GB number is for both main routes. Still pretty big though, your standard card could only load one route.

I don't think the 3DS can handle 64GB cards. Not without an adapter at least.

Probably won't be tripled in size if additional paths are bought; remember, there is the base game download, THEN the path download. Characters, supports, MODELS... are all in the base game.

What is it, formatting the SDXC card to FAT 32? (Fun tech retail fact: SDXC cards are pre-formatted in a new EX-FAT filesystem, which is presumably more efficient for the higher capacities.)

So I hear that many units in the Revelations path come in late with the stats they have in the other routes. Does the 3rd path at least offer infinite grinding; to prevent a large chunk of the 1st gen roster from being useless?

Nohr allows for grinding if you have DLC. Though I do believe you do get random battles you can participate in as well, but you don't get any EXP from it. Just materials.

I'm not sure. Some of the balance changes seem very deliberate.
Making otherwise decent units useless on one route because they didn't bother to level them up to compensate for the fact that they joined later? Sounds like laziness to me.

Is this like Radiant Dawn where a character is available early on then disappear for 3/4 of the game (cough Tormod cough Tauroneo cough), or entire teams (Dawn Brigade) not showing up for a while then when they show up again they are underleveled and have to fight chapter-approrpiate level of enemies.

Started another playthrough of Awakening. Doing Hard this time (still casual though).
I'm still really bad at this game. I haven't lost yet, but a handful of people (namely Donnel and Ricken) keep dying and can't do a lot of damage.

Have them fight the DLC, or pair them up and hope they get a hit in. Give them the last hit after other characters have softened up the enemy.
That said, back to Fates! I wonder why people are talking about Fates filesize in the general thread. Figuring out why could be a spoiler by itself!

The main thing is that they are trying to figure out is if there is dual audio or not. Checking the file size is a good way to figure that out.
Dual audio seems too awesome to be true. As well as whatever replaced the Hot Coffee Minigame (/exaggeration)
