Dang. I sure hope the Special Edition has them all pre-loaded on the cartridge.

This song needs more love.I'm doubting we'll be that lucky.
i. hear. a. sound.Welp, off to buy a 32 gig microsd card. (...and effectively bumping up the game's price from 80 to 90 dollars.)
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeSo glad I bought one a few weeks back at 60% off. Clearance sales, gotta love em.
Also, I think the 3GB number is for both main routes. Still pretty big though, your standard card could only load one route.

Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.I remember back when a 256mb flash drive cost 80usd.
If it wont all be on the cart, I have never been so glad for exponential storage growth.
._.;
I think I saw a 64gb SD card for like 40usd the other day.

I don't think the 3DS can handle 64GB cards. Not without an adapter at least.

Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.Probably won't be tripled in size if additional paths are bought; remember, there is the base game download, THEN the path download. Characters, supports, MODELS... are all in the base game.
True enough, but it will still probably be well over 2GB in total.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.I'll buy a bigger card regardless. I sure could use one for stuff other than Fates as well.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeIt "can't"... on paper at least.
If you want to use a 64/128 GB card (micro if you have one of the New 3DS models), the Internet has found a method. (A very easy-to-do-it method.)
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!What is it, formatting the SDXC card to FAT 32? (Fun tech retail fact: SDXC cards are pre-formatted in a new EX-FAT filesystem, which is presumably more efficient for the higher capacities.)
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Pretty much.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!So I hear that many units in the Revelations path come in late with the stats they have in the other routes. Does the 3rd path at least offer infinite grinding; to prevent a large chunk of the 1st gen roster from being useless?
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.IIRC, the only one that does not is Nhor.
Well, I guess that's something. It seems like the 3rd route was rushed out the door; with all the blatant balance issues.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.Nohr allows for grinding if you have DLC. Though I do believe you do get random battles you can participate in as well, but you don't get any EXP from it. Just materials.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I'm not sure. Some of the balance changes seem very deliberate.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Making otherwise decent units useless on one route because they didn't bother to level them up to compensate for the fact that they joined later? Sounds like laziness to me.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects. Is this like Radiant Dawn where a character is available early on then disappear for 3/4 of the game (cough Tormod cough Tauroneo cough), or entire teams (Dawn Brigade) not showing up for a while then when they show up again they are underleveled and have to fight chapter-approrpiate level of enemies.

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Started another playthrough of Awakening. Doing Hard this time (still casual though).
I'm still really bad at this game. I haven't lost yet, but a handful of people (namely Donnel and Ricken) keep dying and can't do a lot of damage.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeHave them fight the DLC, or pair them up and hope they get a hit in. Give them the last hit after other characters have softened up the enemy.
That said, back to Fates! I wonder why people are talking about Fates filesize in the general thread. Figuring out why could be a spoiler by itself!
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! The main thing is that they are trying to figure out is if there is dual audio or not. Checking the file size is a good way to figure that out.
Dual audio seems too awesome to be true. As well as whatever replaced the Hot Coffee Minigame (/exaggeration)
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! So it should be noted that Polygon is doing a live stream for the game which apparently has confirmed that there is no dual audio.
Runs and hides from the oncoming storm
EDIT: Oh, and the 2D models are still used and they talk, but you can't touch.

This song needs more love.
Pretty huge, I bought a 32GB card to make sure.

I think one side is over 3GB, so its probably approach 10GB with all the routes and DLC.
