Of those, I prefer the first by far since the kid actually looks like he's assisting her. In the cartoony one it could just be a grandmother and her grandson about to cross the street.

Page needs an image. I've found some real life examples that could work (e.g. #1), but I rather like the more cartoony ones (e.g. #2)
