Here's the Discussion Thread for the game of seemingly love-struck, psychotic, chicks who are secretly walking talking war machine piloted by slightly more sane mini aliens!

A bit of background for y'all: The game start late October, so Halloween is just around the corner. You've all been at the school for at least a week. There's a dorm, ostensibly where you sleep, but that actually serves as your secret headquarters. A few other Yandroids have already been forced out of the running for breaking the ever changing series of rules imposed upon you by the Multirole Acquisition Division.

So, has there been enough time for student council elections?

Just to be clear, we don't know who is a mecha and who isn't?

Question.

Suppose one of the Yandroids gets destroyed. I don't mean "knocked out of commission", I mean "it's so absolutely trashed that you're better off scrapping it and making a new one".

What happens? Is that player understandably booted from the game because they can no longer perform their job as defined by the MAD?

You don't know yet, yeah.

I don't really want to set anything in stone just yet since someone might have a better idea later on concerning that situation, so let's just say we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

I've been stuck dealing with some RL issues, but tomorrow is my free day, so we most certainly will be launching then!

Game is up!

You guys can start anywhere in the school right now. Early bird get the worm, but the second bird that takes out the early bird before Senpai notices gets... this metaphor isn't working like I thought it would. You know what I mean though!

Do note that I'm going to be playing my Yandere exactly like a giant robot piloted by four people would turn out.

On the outside, sweet and demure. On the inside, really just four robots bickering with each other constantly. Over everything.

That's part of the fun!

Mine will basically be played like a tank crew, because I have the AI to handle most of the schoolgirl-speciic functions, but that means at the same time Reida is her own character in a way.

Might be able to get a post up tonight. Will also be introducing a rather important NPC, representing a third failure condition besides unit destruction or breaking enough rules MAD ejects you.

We thought of it and decided it was Senpai. The game was designed with that thought in mind. He's so dreamy that's all the girls ever call him and can't even comprehend any other name, word, or term.

You're trying to tell me Senpai needs a real name?

I figured the operators I play would call him by his real name among themselves so yes?

That's not an answer.

Parable just did give you the answer. He is known as Senpai.

Maybe nobody is willing to touch his records, given they're already trying to lure him away from school because of his Yanderium aura, and want to try and earn his trust as much as possible. This in mind, while trawling local databanks for his name, past, and achievements would be trivially easy, it might just make the MAD look like sociopaths instead of desperate individuals, which naturally wouldn't help with earning Senpai's trust and ensuring a constant flow of Yanderium.

After all, he who controls Senpai, controls the Yanderium, and he who controls the Yanderium, controls the Universe.

Or maybe the Yandroid operators are just as much in love with Senpai.

This is really supposed to be a pretty silly game, that's just one of those unspoken absurdities that get played totally straight. If you're that bothered consider his name formally and on all paperwork to be 'Senpai'?

So we don't have that many people actually participating in the game thread right now?

(I'm waiting for something, I'll probably post after Parable's second)

How about just crashing into Senpai? That's what everyone seems to be doing. One does literally, tho. Or maybe you can go against the norm and start in a far away place dreamily thinking of Senpai?

Oh, and I'd like to address an earlier concern. There has already been a student council election, yes?

And also if it's halloween, the classes will be preparing some grand horror thingy, right? (good way to get points on senpai :D )

Yes. Yes. And Yes.

Well, situational yes on that last one. Depends on what year you are. Naturally the younger "students" won't be in the same class as Senpai, but they can be with each other.

So, if anyone looks odd in the infrared or ultraviolet spectrums, you'll have to let me know what the Motoko sees!
