The trope is using rock music as an effective (as in, it works) weapon. Not just throwing it in because of the Rule Of Cool.

Current's good, but here's a suggestion
◊ from Mad Max: Fury Road. Because when you live in an apocalyptic wasteland with waning resources, it's still necessary to use gas and electricity to set up a car with a rocker on it. Because it is awesome.
