Emergin from a thoroughly trashed burger shop, Rat staggers forth, greasy as a con artist.He appears to have stolen some tools, and his mailbag appears to be stuffed with food. Rat makes for the City Hall. "Why... why did I spend fours days there? Ugh..." Rat collapses, and is basically crawling.

*It's almost hilarious how out-of-place his demeanor makes him in contrast to everyone else. Without anything better that he can immediately think of as an icebreaker for the conversation, he decides to make do with the first one that pops up.*

"How's the weather?"

The fact that only 140 characters are allowed here is honestly so disappointing to me.

The man, now losing interest, just takes his leave.

Mai gives a troll smirk, flicking part of her screen with a wave. "The air temperature is [temperature to one decimal place] degrees. The humidity is X%. Chance of precipitation is minimal. There is, however, a non-zero chance of spacio-temporal storms." She manages to keep her voice straight, but her troll smirk is blatant.

Rat makes it to City Hall, exhausted. Automatically, he decides to look for the postmaster-general's office. Unfortunately, the building appears to be empty. Deciding that he does not care, Rat heads for the hotel district.

*He pauses, currently with the expression of someone who really wants to facepalm, then sighs.*

"...Look, this isn't a combat situation. I have no idea what to do here."

*Once again, his sword greets the open air, although it does not currently have the plasma and fire coating the blade. Instead, it just happens to be a sword that has a blue blade.*

She stops messing with the light, the rat might notice that.

"Well okay."

Reveir promptly appears near the others.

Meanwhile, Maik has made it down the hotel's stairs, and to its main lobby... and she's heading for the door... She's still a little dazed, but regaining her focus... she may also be starting to look confused and/or curious.

*Noting Reveir's appearance by glancing at him briefly, he pauses, then continues speaking, answering Mai's question with only the most deadpan of sarcastic voice.*

"No, it's actually a really pleasant place where not even a single sign of even mild disagreement occurs ever and no seriously, the flaming blue sword didn't tip you off? It's not a welding torch, after all."

Reveir shakes his head, before looking at Joshua.

He then turns to Neuff.

"Well, misunderstandings and other stuff could happen, so... not risking it."

Rat's headache lessens considerably, and he makes it to the hotel. Bemused, he watches the people.

"And I was merely looking for a chance to be sarcastic."

*He smirks at Mai, then turns to Reveir. The "clothing" on his body spikes up a little... that's not really traditional clothing, though, is it? Nah, it isn't. Not with the way it moves.*

"Well, yes. We fight together, or against each other, et cetera. In fact, we're... technically related. It's hard to explain, so I'm not going to bother, since the details are unimportant."

Reveir grins at Neuff, before looking at Mai.

"Yeah. It's basically 'get practically worshipped or get avoided' when it comes to me."

He then turns to glance at the Rat for quite a while.

Followed by him shaking his head, and then looking at Joshua.

"Ah, so you're his brother. Got it. Name's Reveir Celtrois, by the way. Class Alpha-Z. Guild: None. Ranking: First, Ultimatum Level."

She looks torn between being amused and pissed off, then thoughtful. Alternates? Splits? Somehow stabilized? But how? Then curiously at the rat, then back to Revier.

"I see... nice to meet you. Name's Mai, none too many fancy titles I'm afraid..."
